It’s the college-application season when a lot of moms starting feeling weepy about their emptying nest. Not Michelle Obama. “That’s the rub of teenagers — they’re bumping up against the limits of where they are because they’re ready for the next thing,” the former first lady tells PEOPLE in an exclusive at-home interview for the cover story in the new issue. (Snip) Plus, she’s got plenty going on in her own White House afterlife: “I’ve got an initiative, I’ve got a book, I’ve got a husband I can see again.” Her memoir Becoming hit bookstores Tuesday and, through the Obama

Of course the Mooch doesn’t need the kids around. It’s the K reproductive strategy. Under normal circumstances (without White House staff and luxuries) Michelle would have tuned out her offspring when they’d reached about age 9 or 10. She like, y’know, got her own life tuh live.

Mommy Dearest. No Christmases and few smiles in that chilly household. If the world knew everything about the Obamas, they´d be pariahs wherever they went. Except maybe Sharpton´s pad.

Dang, Michelle sounds about as concerned about her brood as Ted Turner, who once said to a reporter that ah, that ah he regretted having had any children (Thanks a bunch, Dad).

This woman´s popularity is almost as inexplicable as Hillary!´s. No taste, no class, Left of Castro, and stoked with a a huge sense of self-entitlement. These people think they´re royalty, and they´re nothing, common as dirt, poseurs who ran the biggest political con of the 21st Century. Will the truth ever get out widely? Live Nation promises 10 upcoming performances by the Clintons next spring, and if the first two nights mean anything, this will be a tour on which nothing is quite right — a weird blend of darkness and nostalgia, of out-of-place things. Imagine watching the Clintons play a chipper, Newlywed Game–style quiz about their marriage

Going all in on attacking President Trump isn’t proving to be a particularly effective business strategy for media outlets. The Weekly Standard, a 28-year old neoconservative institution, is reportedly headed towards dissolution after its founder, Bill Kristol, devoted almost three years of work to attacking the President and his supporters. It’s not just Kristol. The entire world of clickbait Trump-hate seems to be in jeopardy, including sites that cater to the liberal base. The same week that The Weekly Standard’s troubles broke, Vanity Fair dropped a bombshell report about the struggles faced by those hip, millennial-targeted left-wing rags

President Donald Trump has bashed one of the loudest neoconservative ´Never Trumpers´, Bill Kristol, seizing on news that Kristol´s anti-Trump Weekly Standard magazine is folding. ´The pathetic and dishonest Weekly Standard, run by failed prognosticator Bill Kristol (who, like many others, never had a clue), is flat broke and out of business. Too bad. May it rest in peace!´ Trump tweeted on Saturday morning. It follows an announcement on Friday that the Weekly Standard, which Kristol co-founded in 1995, will be ceasing publication. Kristol, an avid Twitter user, responded to Trump´s tweet simply: ´@ me next time´. (Tweet/Photos) Trump´s attack

MSNBC host Joy Reid and her guest Elie Mystal spent a segment fantasizing about Ivanka Trump being in the “crosshairs” and openly scheming about how the best way to “get” President Donald Trump would be to go after his children. The sinister conversation, in which they urged the left to put the mother and wife “in their crosshairs” occurred on Saturday’s show. “This is the first time that we have Ivanka . . . in the crosshairs . . . The only way we’re really going to get to Trump is if you go after his kids . . .

Have you gotten your flu shot this year? If the answer is no - and I´m not getting one! - you´re not alone. A new study finds more than 40 percent of Americans have not been vaccinated and, in fact, don´t plan on it either. This is despite the warnings, potential dangers, and last year´s record-number of flu deaths. The survey was done by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago. People under the age of 45 were the least likely to report being vaccinated.

The Weekly Standard will be no more. There is no real reason we are witnessing the magazine’s demise other than deep pettiness and a personal desire for bureaucratic revenge on the part of a penny-ante Machiavellian who works for its parent company. There would at least be a larger meaning to the Standard’s end if it were being killed because it was hostile to Donald Trump. But I do not believe that is the case.
