Michelle Obama’s money-making
hypocrisy is laughable

New York Post, by Maureen Callahan

Original Article

CHICAGO — To read the worshipful press coverage you’d never know that, for Democrats, the unthinkable has happened: Michelle Obama has revealed herself as just another guru for sale. On Tuesday night, the former first lady kicked off her 10-city North American book tour, which more closely resembled a cult-of-personality-propaganda-rally, at the United Center in Chicago. (Dates have been added in London, where scalped tickets are going for over $90,000 each, and Paris.) A sliver of the 20,000 seats available for the Chicago event were priced at $29.50, and those sold out within five minutes of going on sale in September.

It is incomprehensible to me that anyone would pay anything, much less $90k, for a ticket to see this person.

Another elitist doing anything it takes to stay an elitist. Hypocrisy? It exists in the mantra she and her spouse were proclaiming, "share the wealth." They belong in the crowd that is grabbing for power and money. Our money to line their pockets and ideologies.

It may be laughable but it is also sad and scary.

The Clintons and 0bamas are the epitome of no class grubbing new money.

I had my disappointments with the Bushes´. However, all of them are patriots and have class. GW does alot of charity work for wounded veterans and still visits military hospitals under the radar (as in no cameras)

Seen the Obamas doing this??? Nope.

By the way, I started reading the article and about the time I was going to puke I stopped.

I just have the strangest feeling that these 2 self-servers will go through that money in a few short years.

Worth repeating that in 2003, they were not able to pay their bills. Can´t imagine they are intelligent enough to have "money managers".

Final thought, I suspect that Mooch wants to be Ellen. Better that phoney role than attempting to be potus.

Barack gets a pension and they´re raking in millions so they can pay for their own security and stop his pension. It´s not 1952 and a poor Harry Truman, former President, with no income after leaving office.

Same for the Clintons.

I didn´t come from a family with money. We were a post depression household. My dad worked a steady job (when there was work!)
We didn´t have much, but we weren´t poor.
Poor is when you do not have a roof over your head, food to eat and clothing on your back. Even though it was second and sometimes third handed, we were clothed. Our food was simple but adequate. Our little rented apartment was far from desirable. But we weren´t poor. We didn´t dwell on "POOR". We had all of the above. We had plenty of love. We had caring family and neighbors (same situation we were in) and we were able to keep our heads above water, but barely.
My siblings and I were brought up to aspire to do what it took to achieve a better future, and we did. Little by little things work-wise got better for my dad and eventually my mom found a job.
It made a difference to my mom and dad financially, but the love and caring from family was always abundant.

Michelle, you are full of beans.

I saw Bush 43 at a Barnes & Noble book signing in Houston--but that sort of rubbing elbows with the unwashed is beneath her. (And, I was spit at on the sidewalk afterward by protesters and called names for buying the book.

Both couples are nothing but money grubbing rabid left wing ideologues that would destroy this country in a heartbeat if they thought it would enrich their coffers. It has been said that money can’t buy taste or class and these four are living proof of it. They are tasteless, classless fools driven by ambition and greed.

Have you gotten your flu shot this year? If the answer is no - and I´m not getting one! - you´re not alone. A new study finds more than 40 percent of Americans have not been vaccinated and, in fact, don´t plan on it either. This is despite the warnings, potential dangers, and last year´s record-number of flu deaths. The survey was done by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago. People under the age of 45 were the least likely to report being vaccinated.

It was reported recently that a couple of nuns out in Southern California had ripped off the Catholic school where they worked for many years to the tune of at least $500,000. They spent the money on gambling sprees to Las Vegas, among other pursuits. The habit-less sisters, who were henned up together in a Torrance townhouse inside a gated community (the neighbors, according to the Los Angeles Times, wondered how they afforded their matching Volvos), hail from the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet — a “social justice” religious order, naturally. But even richer than that, it is the order

One of California’s largest utilities company was accused Friday of falsifying safety documents for the state’s natural gas pipelines for years, even after it was blamed for a 2010 pipeline explosion that killed eight people. An investigation by the California Public Utilities Commission found that Pacific Gas & Electric Co. had allegedly falsified data from 2012 to 2017 because it lacked enough employees to find and mark natural gas pipelines. According to investigators, PG&E "had common knowledge among its supervisors that locators falsified data.”

In the same month, Avenatti spoke at the “Democratic Wing Ding” dinner in Iowa and announced plans to visit at least 20 more states.

President Donald Trump has bashed one of the loudest neoconservative ´Never Trumpers´, Bill Kristol, seizing on news that Kristol´s anti-Trump Weekly Standard magazine is folding. ´The pathetic and dishonest Weekly Standard, run by failed prognosticator Bill Kristol (who, like many others, never had a clue), is flat broke and out of business. Too bad. May it rest in peace!´ Trump tweeted on Saturday morning. It follows an announcement on Friday that the Weekly Standard, which Kristol co-founded in 1995, will be ceasing publication. Kristol, an avid Twitter user, responded to Trump´s tweet simply: ´@ me next time´. (Tweet/Photos) Trump´s attack

MSNBC host Joy Reid and her guest Elie Mystal spent a segment fantasizing about Ivanka Trump being in the “crosshairs” and openly scheming about how the best way to “get” President Donald Trump would be to go after his children. The sinister conversation, in which they urged the left to put the mother and wife “in their crosshairs” occurred on Saturday’s show. “This is the first time that we have Ivanka . . . in the crosshairs . . . The only way we’re really going to get to Trump is if you go after his kids . . .

The Weekly Standard will be no more. There is no real reason we are witnessing the magazine’s demise other than deep pettiness and a personal desire for bureaucratic revenge on the part of a penny-ante Machiavellian who works for its parent company. There would at least be a larger meaning to the Standard’s end if it were being killed because it was hostile to Donald Trump. But I do not believe that is the case.
