Melania Trump hasn´t even arrived in France yet, but the first lady is already upping her style game before meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte. The 48-year-old donned a $2,695 Burberry black and white plaid trench coat and knee-high $1,295 Christian Louboutin boots as she and her husband, President Donald Trump, boarded Marine One on the South Lawn of the White House on Friday morning. The couple is headed to Paris to meet with world leaders and commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I on November 11. (Photos/Video) The first lady and

Considering Brigitte Macron dresses like she´s still in junior high, Melania will outshine her by far.

Love both coats---and love the long kid gloves. It is irrelevant to me how much her clothing costs. I love the photos of smiles---I believe this dear lady has a warm, generous spirit.

The work ethic of this President amazes me.

Meanwhile, I do wish Mrs. Macron would lengthen her skirts. When I was a child whether or not to wear shorts was a big issue. I asked my grandmother (born in 1881) if she thought wearing shorts was sinful. (It was about 1957.) This realistic dear lady answered that if I wore shorts I´d "look as good as the rest of them," but there came a time when a girl´s knees were no longer pretty. And at that point, she said, they should be covered up. I was about seven years old, and I´ve followed her opinion about arms, legs, etc., to this day. (She, of course, never even wore slacks, much less shorts.)

Taxpayers helped finance research used by the American Psychological Association to label traditional masculinity harmful. The APA´s "First-Ever Guidelines for Practice with Men and Boys" received input from dozens of psychoanalysts who believe masculinity is a social construct, are passionate about social justice, and think there is a danger in a role model like John Wayne. Several contributors to the guidelines have received federal funding from the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Department of Education, totaling more than $4.4 million. The guidelines not only suggest "traditional masculinity" limits the "psychological development" of men and harms their mental and

Spare, if you will, a moment’s pity for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY). They are not exactly enjoying the government shutdown as they might have hoped. Pelosi had already packed her bags and boarded the Air Force bus Thursday, along with a sizable delegation of House Democratic leaders, for her overseas junket. She and her comrades were, no doubt, looking forward to touring NATO’s billion-dollar-plus new headquarters in Brussels; posing for selfies on camelback by the pyramids in Egypt; grinning for photo-ops with the troops in Afghanistan. Right under our noses, hidden in plain sight, he managed to operate a thriving mail order business selling fentanyl and Xanax. The police hauled him, and the $700,000 in cash he kept on hand, away at 4 a.m. The opioid epidemic is carefully

President Donald Trump has elevated trolling his enemies to a high art. In his latest epic salvo, Trump canceled Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi’s overseas trip an hour before take-off. Videos and photos of what appears to be Pelosi’s luggage cart being returned to her office fueled Twitter hilarity. A cart marked “Codel Pelosi” (Congressional Delegate) shows bags of luggage sitting in the empty hallways of Congress. Nancy had packed her luggage for a 7-day trip to Belgium and Afghanistan.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) sent a letter to President Donald Trump on Wednesday asking him to postpone the State of the Union Address to a Joint Session of Congress scheduled for January 29. Pelosi cited security concerns over the partial government shutdown. Pelosi said both the U.S. Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security have not been funded for 26 days now – with critical departments hamstrung by furloughs. Therefore, they would not be ready for the speech. (Snip) Now Democrats are reportedly worried about security for the Super Bowl. This is a fickle, dishonest bunch of radicals. Chad

I´m flabbergasted. In San Diego, "man bites dog" seems to still be operative on the media front. The wall and migrant caravan "narrative" being promoted in Washington by the mainstream press is being repeatedly blown apart by good old-fashioned shoe-leather reporting in the local (and kind of lefty) San Diego presses, and it´s starting to get noticeable. The latest such instance, which I will write about soon, showed public and listener-supported broadcaster KPBS reporting that U.S. far leftists from other parts of the country are rolling into Tijuana, Sandalista-style, and egging on caravan migrants to illegally storm the U.S. border,
