Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker issued a new asylum rule today as officials at the U.S. southern border and U.S. military prepare to confront an approaching horde of approximately 20,000 Central American migrant/invaders.(Snip)“Consistent with our immigration laws, the President has the broad authority to suspend or restrict the entry of aliens into the United States if he determines it to be in the national interest to do so. Nielsen and Whitaker are making the usual Republican mistake of citing existing federal laws to support their actions. They should realize that most if not all Obama appointed federal judges believe that these laws can be suspended if not overturned in order to support illegal actions by illegal immigrants. Besides, the Democrats need to have these 20,000 illegals submit absentee ballots in Broward and Palm Beach Counties in FL so that the Dems can beat Scott and DeSantis.

Have a sickening feeling that the House Democrats are giving out home addresses of Trump officials to Antifa and BLM.

We have had weak, lackadaisical leaders during the past several decades who have trashed the Constitution by ignoring the law and by devoting their policies to marginalizing its critical importance to the USA and that for which it stands. Thus, we are so very thankful that now we finally have a President who loves the USA, is faithful to his oath of office and strong enough to return Justice to the Constitution which secures Liberty for each & every American citizen! We need to support those in office who respect America´s legislated laws, including the Congressional intensely researched & enacted existing Immigration Law.

Then the Congress must fulfill their Constitutional duty to research and address the need for temporary, monitored foreign employees, skilled & unskilled. Plus, their American employers must also held accountable for their responsibilities according to the law. It is a difficult task but must be done to stop this chaos.

In addition to #4´s very clear words, it´s important to remember the lazy fools of both parties in Congress have passed their responsibilities in law over to the various offices of the Executive branch so as not to be bothered with the actual rule making process. If the Judicial Branch...I´m looking at you 9th.. doesn´t like it, too bad. That is what the law says and is is constitutional for every law or none, the cherry picking has to stop.

On the surface, Democrats going all in to fight the appointment of Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general makes little sense. It is perfectly legal. Republicans control the Senate which confirms nominations. Going after Brett Kavanaugh backfired. But Sundance at the Last Refuge (aka, Conservative Treehouse) offered evidence that Whitaker has given them cause by exposing Democrat skulduggery in the Department of Justice. As chief of staff, Whitaker had access to everything that crossed the desk of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Sundance thinks Whitaker leaked stories to reporters that embarrassed Democrats, and asked eight questions:

CNN, apparently not satisfied with merely having nearly cornered the market on fake news, is going for the most incompetent news network as well. Most have likely heard about its attempt to sue the Trump White House (and a Secret Service agent—stay classy, CNN) for having revoked bratty correspondent Jim Acosta’s press pass. Funny thing is, that lawsuit is now exposing CNN for how little it actually knows about anything—including the U.S. Constitution, the truth, and basic good manners.(Snip) CNN and Jim Acosta’s lawsuit against the White House, which alleges First and Fifth Amendment violations, contains several factual inaccuracies.

Florida’s election recount is chugging along as more irregularities are uncovered and a judge asked the warring sides to “ramp down the rhetoric,” saying it erodes public confidence in the election for Senate and governor. One county revealed Monday that it had allowed some hurricane-displaced voters to cast their ballots by email — a violation of state law. Another had to restart its recount after getting about a quarter finished because someone forgot to push a button. And in oft-criticized Broward County, additional sheriff’s deputies were sent to guard ballots and voting machines, even though a judge

This week could go down in history as the time so-called journalists finally embarrassed themselves beyond all redemption. While nothing could top CNN’s Jim Acosta making a complete fool of himself at a presidential press conference, Vogue magazine ran a close second for publishing a patronizing story titled “Why Do White Women Keep Voting for the GOP and Against Their Own Interests?” Yet again, the liberal media elite attempt to explain away those pesky Republican women who just don’t seem to get it, especially the overwhelming number of white women who voted for Republican Brian Kemp

Arizona’s Senate race was perhaps the most surprising, and disturbing, midterm result for Republicans and Trump fans. Many struggle to understand how Barry Goldwater’s home state will send a former pink tutu-wearing antiwar activist to Washington. The answer is instructive regarding what Trump Republicanism must do to build a majority. The biggest reason Martha McSally lost is the same reason Republicans lost control of the House: RINOs. Across the nation, moderate college-educated independents who had frequently backed Republicans in prior elections switched sides. We can see this trend both in the Arizona exit polls and the results reported to date.

The caravans of economic migrants moving northwards to the U.S. border “actually represent a relatively small fragment of a much larger group of people in their own region — and around the world — who say they would like to move to the U.S. if they could,” said Gallup. The five million number is one-in-three adults in Central America, the survey firm said.

Sen. Mr. Flake made the announcement on the Senate floor minutes after his bid to pass the bill failed. His threat could block the committee from approving any more judges this year, since the GOP only holds a one-seat majority on the panel. It´s a puzzling result, not the least because the vote count took a week.
