I cuddled with strangers at a Cuddle Party,
San Francisco´s latest wellness trend

SF Gate, by Annie Vainshtein

I had been dreading my trip to the Cuddle Castle for the past few days. I´d set out, in the spirit of inquiry, to attend a Cuddle Party, a gathering I´d heard whispers about but had never seen up close. Unlike most parties, I had to pay for this one. Thirty-six dollars covered four hours of cuddling at a secret location in San Francisco´s Richmond neighborhood. I was instructed to eat beforehand, bring water and "soft fluffy things" to "enhance" the experience, and to wear comfy clothes, such as pajamas.

Via Marijuana Moment, my first thought after watching this was “Is Mooch high?” My second thought, after pondering it further, was “You know, I can sort of see it.”Who’s the big obstacle in the Trump administration to marijuana legalization? It’s not POTUS, it’s his AG — and his AG isn’t going to be his AG for much longer after next week. Trump, in fact, has signaled surprising willingness to temper marijuana laws, first via his agreement with

We’ve nearly won the battle for the Republican Party, having kicked out most of the grifters, weasels, weenies, and dorks of Conservative, Inc. They spent decades dunning us for donations while conserving not very much at all, so we elected Donald Trump and remade the GOP. Now there’s no place left for them, and they’re pouting on the Lido Deck among the unsold cruise cabins, sipping Zima and muttering about how ungrateful we are. All my life I have reminded fellow Jews in America that we are the luckiest Jews to have ever lived in a non-Jewish country. I know what I’m talking about. I wrote a book on anti-Semitism, taught Jewish history at Brooklyn College, and fought anti-Semitism since I was 21, when Israel sent me into the Soviet Union to smuggle in Jewish religious items and smuggle out Jewish names. Even after the massacre of eleven Jews in a Pittsburgh synagogue, this assessment remains true. But the greatest massacre of Jews in American history is a unique American tragedy.

President Trump apparently watches this show during his early morning “executive time,” so there’s a chance he saw this today when not one but two of the show’s co-hosts challenged the phrase “enemy of the people” as a way to refer to the media. “I really wish he would lose that term,” co-host Kilmeade said, adding, “It doesn’t help anybody.” He continued, “It doesn’t push back on the media that he wants to push back on and I think it gets too many other people…get shrapnel with that statement. Because the press isn’t the enemy of the people.

CHICAGO — To read the worshipful press coverage you’d never know that, for Democrats, the unthinkable has happened: Michelle Obama has revealed herself as just another guru for sale. On Tuesday night, the former first lady kicked off her 10-city North American book tour, which more closely resembled a cult-of-personality-propaganda-rally, at the United Center in Chicago. (Dates have been added in London, where scalped tickets are going for over $90,000 each, and Paris.) A sliver of the 20,000 seats available for the Chicago event were priced at $29.50, and those sold out within five minutes of going on sale in September.
