Dear White Lady, What Are You Doing to Us?
Daily Beast, by Goldie Taylor

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 11/8/2018 5:26:12 PM

I don’t know your name and I doubt you know mine. Sometimes, we wind up in the grocery store checkout line together. We used to sit a couple of rows apart watching our kids play soccer, tee ball, or some other organized sport they roped us into. Come to think of it, our children graduated from high school in the same class. (Snip)Columnist, feminist activist and social media denizen Mona Eltahawy is out here calling you “foot soldiers of the patriarchy.”How is that? To put it plainly: Girl, what is wrong with you?”

Comments:
Of course, this is the attitude we hate. The talking down the nose, probably an unseen finger shaking at us, to tell us why we are misguided, foolish, uninformed and unsisterly. Grrrrr.

Glad you are still enjoying the plantation life. Personally I do not choose my candidate by their sex, nationality, or the color of their skin. I am not a herd animal with blinders on. I think for myself, thank you very much. I do not have to explain my vote to you. Frankly, I thank God everyday that clinton is not in the WH. Now get off my back and out of my business.

And all I’m doing to you, Mona and Goldie, is ignoring you.

Why would I vote for Hillary Clinton who not only stood by while her husband abused women, she provided cover for him by trying to destroy them. You talk about Puerto Rico and I would remind you of Haiti where the Clintons scored hundreds of millions of dollars in donation and distributed little. Lets talk about the uranium deal that also enriched that entitle piece of excrement with hundreds of millions from the Russians.... I´m tired of crooks, I voted for Trump because he is doing what he said he would do for the country and not because I admire him personally. I want people to enter this country legally and not demand entrance and I want to quit giving illegals benefits that should be going to our veterans. What is wrong with you?

Because Republican women know they are so much smarter than the vast majority of government officials that they don´t want any of them telling them what to do. They KNOW they are smart enough to take care of themselves unlike democrats (person who wrote this drivel) who rely on the government for everything.

Dear Victim,
What have you done to yourself? Why did you let the Democrats convince you that you could not live without them? Why did you believe them when they convinced you to rely on them instead of your own good sense and ability? Why didn´t you take the hand of friendship and opportunity that was offered you instead of taking up the battle axes? Did you ever read about all those people who died for your freedom? Did you know that they were our forefathers, and that we are proud of them? Do you not understand that our hands are still extended in friendship and opportunity?

Isn´t this what happens when you get your news from outfits like CNN and consider yourself a victim? I have a niece who is married to a guy from Ghana who came to the USA legally, worked at, later managed and even later bought a supermarket & is a very successful business man. He never asked for or received welfare. He has never been or behaved like a victim. How do we get many descendant´s of slave to understand what this guy understands, to behave like him and to free themselves from a past they never experienced? BTW, he is very conservative & a registered Republican.

Puerto Rico had problems because there were Puerto Ricans causing them, not because of the president.

Flint´s money was approved but not delivered by Obama. It was a priority for Trump. The water there is fine and they have more than enough (well, the city IS still run by Democrats) to replace the entire water system now.

The white women the author addresses and a lot of black, brown, Asian and Native American women don’t believe that politicians can or even intend to replace self-reliance. We think we care about our lives and the lives of our friends and families more than someone in Washington DC with their own friends and families to worry about as well as protecting their career which consists of professionally convincing society’s weaklings and dopes that they will take care of them. Using other people’s money, of course. And Goldie Taylor’s problem is revealed in believing that people who disagree with her are doing something against her personally and rendering her a helpless victim.

A nine-foot sculpture depicting the Saudi Arabian flag in the shape of a piece of candy is reportedly being removed from its grounds near the 9/11 memorial in New York City after facing backlash. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said they’d relocate the installation, which features the words “There is no god but Allah, and Mohammed is the prophet” in Arabic, after many felt its proximity to Ground Zero and the 9/11 Memorial was insulting and insensitive. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers in the Sept. 11 attack on the United States were Saudi nationalists,

In the daily headlines, the government shutdown—now the longest in American history—is reported as a clash between two uncompromising forces: President Trump and Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In this battle, however, the most important general may be the one who’s escaped almost all notice. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has put on full display his penchant for knowing when the best course is to do nothing. In the received wisdom, because Mr. Trump infamously welcomed a shutdown in December’s televised and contentious Oval Office meeting with Mrs. Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, he gets all the blame for it.

Willie Nelson’s list of musical collaborators is essentially a timeline of popular music. Frank Sinatra? Wynton Marsalis? Ray Charles? Julio Iglesias? Check, check, check, check. Norah Jones, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, even Snoop Dogg? Yep. Basically every country star who ever passed through Nashville and stopped off in Texas? Of course. Yet somehow, during the course of his illustrious and highly collaborative career, there’s one epic name that Willie hadn’t added to his list: King George Strait, his fellow Texan great, whose stature rivals Willie’s when it comes to the names that have defined country music.

Women Don’t Belong in Combat Units

The Obama-era policy of integrating women into ground combat units is a misguided social experiment that threatens military readiness and wastes resources in the service of a political agenda. The next defense secretary should end it. In September 2015 the Marine Corps released a study comparing the performance of gender-integrated and male-only infantry units in simulated combat. The all-male teams greatly outperformed the integrated teams, whether on shooting, surmounting obstacles or evacuating casualties. Female Marines were injured at more than six times the rate of men during preliminary training—unsurprising, since men’s higher testosterone levels produce stronger bones and muscles.

We have a couple of updates today. One about a movie. One about a museum. I told you recently that, based on his perusal of the script and glimpse at the trailer, local lawyer Harry Whittington had some concerns about “Vice,” the current unflattering movie about ex-Veep Dick Cheney. Whittington has some personal stake in the movie because he’s in the movie. He’s the local man who was shot by Cheney in a 2006 South Texas quail hunting accident. It’s a scene in the movie, and now that Whittington has seen the scene, he’s even more convinced it’s inaccurate.

Earl Scruggs revolutionized the way we play and appreciate the banjo today. Scruggs, who was born 95 years ago this month, developed his own three-finger method of picking the five-string banjo – an approach so radical it´s now widely referred to as "Scruggs style." That style, which features picks attached to the thumb, index finger and middle finger, has become a defining characteristic of bluegrass music and the most popular style of playing banjo in the genre. Google dedicated an animated Doodle to Scruggs on Friday, highlighting his finger-picking method, which helped elevate the status of the banjo

Are you a man? That is to say, are you a genetic male who also happens to identify as a "man," for some increasingly antiquated reason? If so, are you under the mistaken impression that you´re not a rapist? Our society has come a long way in shaming men for behaving in any way that anybody anywhere doesn´t like, and reminding men that we´re all complicit even if we don´t behave that way. But it´s not nearly enough. The mere fact of maleness is shameful and problematic. Men and boys everywhere need

The Fight for $15 isn’t living up to its promise. For years, liberals have claimed that the minimum wage needs to increase to $15 an hour to provide a living wage for full-time workers. For the last 35 years, the snowpack in the West’s mountains has resisted the impacts of global warming. But that could soon change, according to a new study out of Oregon State University. The study, published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, found that although climate change should have caused a steep decrease in snowpack, naturally occurring, decades-long weather variations shielded the Cascades, Sierras and Rockies from some of the effects. Although snow stations have recorded some decline, it hasn’t been statistically significant. But according to the study, without this natural weather variation, snowpack in Oregon could have declined
