Florida governor´s race faces recount
as Senate race gets even tighter

Orlando Sentinel, by Steven Lemongello

The Florida governor’s race is heading to a machine recount and the U.S. Senate race will face a lengthier manual recount after returns from Broward County on Thursday pushed Democrats Andrew Gillum and U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson closer to their Republican opponents Ron DeSantis and Gov. Rick Scott. At the same time, Democrat Nikki Fried took the lead over Republican Matt Caldwell by 575 votes in the race for agriculture commissioner, which is also headed to a manual recount.

Comments:
Unbelievable! Broward county doesn´t even know how many ballots they have left to count. We worry about Russian interference in our elections. How about worrying about total incompetence in the election offices?

Every time I see the pure EVIL that LIE-berals do day after day after day, I honestly believe we are inching closer and closer to Civil War II!!!!!

Remember that, to LIE-berals, the ENDS always justify the MEANS!!!!! Lie, cheat, steal, and even kill, it doesn´t matter. It´s all fair game to them as long as they can use it to get and keep POWER!!!!!

Once again.. Broward County! Home of the Hanging Chads.

Dr. Brenda C. Snipes, Broward Cty Supervisor of Elections, says " Opening is a big task and getting them out of that envelope. "

I suspected results were too good to be true... For a moment, I forgot that "lost" ballots hadn´t been found and counted yet; that the votes from the cemeteries hadn´t been found and counted yet. Neither had the votes of all the illegals and the pets... Silly me.

Who has allowed lawbreaker Snipes to remain in charge of Broward elections? A circuit court judge ruled in 2018 that Broward County Election Supervisor Snipes broke federal and state law by too quickly destroying ballots from August 2016 primaries--there was a pending lawsuit seeking access to the ballots. Who allowed Snipes to remain at this job and when will they be fired?

President Trump on Thursday abruptly denied military aircraft to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for a foreign trip just minutes before the congressional delegation was set to depart, in a stunning response to her call to delay the State of the Union address amid the government shutdown. In a curt letter, Trump said her trip has been “postponed.” “Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay,

PASCAGOULA, Miss.— A Mississippi man in declining health is telling a story he’s kept secret from his own family for 45 years: he claims he was abducted by aliens. Calvin Parker says he and his buddy Charles Hickson were fishing in 1973 on the banks of the Pascagoula River, just north of where Ingalls Shipyard now sits, when a “real bright beam appeared all over us and it kind of blinded me for a second and when I got my vision back, I seen three bulky looking creatures coming toward us.” Parker said the creatures were “probably 4, 4 1/2, 5 foot tall…built like football players. Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday asked President Donald Trump to reschedule his State of the Union address — or deliver it in writing — as long as the government remains shut down. "Sadly, given the security concerns and unless government re-opens this week, I suggest that we work together to determine another suitable date after government has re-opened for this address or for you to consider delivering your State of the Union address in writing to the Congress on January 29th," Pelosi wrote in a letter to Trump.

In the past two months, Ruth Bader Ginsburg has fractured three ribs and had two cancerous nodules removed from her left lung. She was absent from oral argument last week and will miss this week’s arguments as well. Doctors say they expect her to be back on the bench in February, and until then she will review transcripts from her home and participate in the court’s decision-making remotely. But her return to work has not quieted critics who say that Ginsburg should have retired long ago and that her health issues are the latest evidence that justices should not be

WASHINGTON—House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters Wednesday night she “doesn’t care” if the Secret Service said it was prepared to appropriately secure the State of the Union address despite the partial government shutdown. Instead, she stood firm in her resolve to delay the January 29 event until the government completely re-opens. (Photo) In a letter to President Trump, Pelosi claimed the lack of funds to Homeland Security posed a risk to the White House and the Congress during the event, but the Department of Homeland Security Sec. It’s tough to tell. Does this make the shutdown a bug … or a feature? Nancy Pelosi has asked Donald Trump to put off his State of the Union speech to the joint session of Congress until after the funding issues have been resolved: (Copy of Letter/Tweet) And with that, the new Speaker of the House just made the best case possible for a perpetual shutdown. Kidding! What I meant to say was that Nancy Pelosi has finally sounded a note of wisdom, at least in her reminder that presidents used to just deliver a report in writing to Congress.

An ESPN host suggested Wednesday it was racist for President Donald Trump to serve fast food to the Clemson football team at the White House, saying such food being given to players of a "predominately black sport" gave her pause. (Snip)While the players appeared to enjoy the food, some political and sports observers took Trump to task for what they considered a low-class gesture. Domnio’s Pizza has been legally required to makes its app and website fully accessible to the visually impaired following a years-long legal battle with a blind customer who was left unable to order a pie with personalized toppings through his iPhone. Guillermo Robles in a lawsuit filed back in September 2016 first accused the popular pizza chain of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act “for its failure to design, construct, maintain, and operate its website to be fully accessible and independently usable” for those who are blind. The Americans with Disabilities Act, made law in 1990, says it is unlawful
