Florida governor´s race faces recount
as Senate race gets even tighter

Orlando Sentinel, by Steven Lemongello

Original Article

The Florida governor’s race is heading to a machine recount and the U.S. Senate race will face a lengthier manual recount after returns from Broward County on Thursday pushed Democrats Andrew Gillum and U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson closer to their Republican opponents Ron DeSantis and Gov. Rick Scott. At the same time, Democrat Nikki Fried took the lead over Republican Matt Caldwell by 575 votes in the race for agriculture commissioner, which is also headed to a manual recount.

Comments:
Unbelievable! Broward county doesn´t even know how many ballots they have left to count. We worry about Russian interference in our elections. How about worrying about total incompetence in the election offices?

Every time I see the pure EVIL that LIE-berals do day after day after day, I honestly believe we are inching closer and closer to Civil War II!!!!!

Remember that, to LIE-berals, the ENDS always justify the MEANS!!!!! Lie, cheat, steal, and even kill, it doesn´t matter. It´s all fair game to them as long as they can use it to get and keep POWER!!!!!

I suspected results were too good to be true... For a moment, I forgot that "lost" ballots hadn´t been found and counted yet; that the votes from the cemeteries hadn´t been found and counted yet. Neither had the votes of all the illegals and the pets... Silly me.

Who has allowed lawbreaker Snipes to remain in charge of Broward elections? A circuit court judge ruled in 2018 that Broward County Election Supervisor Snipes broke federal and state law by too quickly destroying ballots from August 2016 primaries--there was a pending lawsuit seeking access to the ballots. Who allowed Snipes to remain at this job and when will they be fired?

The records turned over to the Florida Commission on Ethics raise new questions about the FBI cloud that has dogged Gillum’s campaign and appear to contradict some of his previous statements. His opponent Ron DeSantis used that probe into possible Tallahassee government corruption as a source of attack during Sunday night’s debate on CNN.

Has President Trump suckered Democrats and the Deep State into a trap that will enable a radical downsizing of the federal bureaucracy? In only 5 more days of the already-“longest government shutdown in history” (25 days and counting, as of today), a heretofore obscure threshold will be reached, enabling permanent layoffs of bureaucrats furloughed 30 days or more. Don’t believe me that federal bureaucrats can be laid off? Well, in bureaucratese, a layoff is called a RIF – a Reduction in Force (snip) if the guidelines are followed, bureaucrats can be laid off -- as in no more job

Gillette´s new ad, browbeating men through a #MeToo and "toxic masculinity" pitch, supposedly to persuade men to buy their razors, is so revolting it´s possible to think it´s satire. There is also a 30-second version, which doesn´t even seem to be about selling razors: Seriously, did a spy from Schick get into the Procter & Gamble´s advertising agency and concoct an ad very sure to turn potential customers off? Who would want to buy that after such a string of insults? Isn´t ad rule number one to not insult the customer? Well, this one does.

A stench has been emanating from the J. Edgar Hoover Building (FBI headquarters) for over two years. It landed Saturday on the front page of the New York Times in an article citing “former law enforcement officials” claiming they had to deal with “explosive implications” that President Donald Trump was “knowingly” or “unwittingly” working for Russia. Thus, the story goes, there was a basis to begin the Russia collusion investigation. In fact, “The Gray Lady” was covering the derrieres of the Obama administration officials involved in the cabal to frame Trump, who now fear an imminent Special Counsel finding that

Are you a man? That is to say, are you a genetic male who also happens to identify as a "man," for some increasingly antiquated reason? If so, are you under the mistaken impression that you´re not a rapist? Our society has come a long way in shaming men for behaving in any way that anybody anywhere doesn´t like, and reminding men that we´re all complicit even if we don´t behave that way. But it´s not nearly enough. The mere fact of maleness is shameful and problematic. Men and boys everywhere need

The Fight for $15 isn’t living up to its promise. For years, liberals have claimed that the minimum wage needs to increase to $15 an hour to provide a living wage for full-time workers. The stated goal, as socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders writes on his website, is straightforward, “We must ensure that no full-time worker lives in poverty.” In one way, the campaign has been remarkably successful. California and New York are phasing in a statewide $15 an hour minimum wage. Numerous cities, including Seattle, Minneapolis and Washington D.C., have passed $15 an hour minimum wage

Gillette is embracing the #MeToo movement in a new digital ad campaign aimed at men, the latest message from an advertiser attempting to change societal norms. The ad, dubbed “We Believe,” opens with audio of news about the current #MeToo movement, bullying and “toxic masculinity.” A narrator then goes on to dispute the notion that “boys will be boys,” asking, “Is this the best a man can get? Is it? We can’t hide from it. It has been going on far too long. We can’t laugh it off, making the same old excuses.”

For the last 35 years, the snowpack in the West’s mountains has resisted the impacts of global warming. But that could soon change, according to a new study out of Oregon State University. The study, published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, found that although climate change should have caused a steep decrease in snowpack, naturally occurring, decades-long weather variations shielded the Cascades, Sierras and Rockies from some of the effects. Although snow stations have recorded some decline, it hasn’t been statistically significant. But according to the study, without this natural weather variation, snowpack in Oregon could have declined

A family dubbed Britain’s "first transgender family" has announced that they are encouraging the gender transition of their five-year-old son, Jayden. According to the family, Jayden, a biological male, likes dresses and hates "everything about being a boy." The little boy´s "step-dad," Greg Rogers, is a 27-year-old biological female who now identifies as a male. The child’s mother is a 21-year-old woman named Jody. Both Jodi and Greg are furious that concerned citizens (referred to as “trolls” by many U.K.-based outlets) have reported them to social services for apparent child abuse. The couple, however, maintain Jayden — who is on

Los Angeles–Barack Obama hasn´t been the president for nearly two years, but his fame is still spreading–at least when it comes to naming things after him. The nation´s first African-American president need not go far around the country these days to find something that carries his name. There´s a long list of schools now named for him, like Barack Obama Academy for Academic & Civic Development in Plainfield, New Jersey, and Barack Obama Elementary School in Richmond, Virginia.
