Sessions was the worst
Donsurber.com, by Don Surber

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 11/8/2018 2:46:35 PM

The attorney generalship of Jeff Sessions was over before it began when he foolishly recused himself from the Russian probe. This allowed Deep Stater Rod Rosenstein to appoint a special counsel. Sessions got played. He traded two small dimes for that big nickel. His mistake was colossal because it allowed Democrats to strong arm the new administration with a special counsel.(Tweets)Bully Boy Mueller´s mission was threefold. 1. Mueller had to cover up Obama spying on political opponents. 2. Mueller had to spy on President Trump using the investigation as an excuse to seize the records of Trump´s lawyer.

Comments:
The tweets by Jerry Nadler are priceless. Flippity-flop!!!

I don´t ever remember disagreeing with Mr. Surber but he´s wrong on two counts. We don´t need Lindsay Graham as the Attorney General he needs to stay right where he is, in the Senate. And as to Mitt McFlake, let him stay in the Senate, if he were the Attorney General, he wouldn´t be any better than Sessions, maybe even worse.

The French say many silly things, along with a few wise ones, although since the deaths of Voltaire, Descartes, and la Rochefoucauld, not lately. One of the silliest came out of the mouth of M. le President, Emmanuel Macron, at the centenary observance of the end of World War I on November 11. Calling nationalism a “betrayal of patriotism,” the fey popinjay went on to caution the world against “old demons coming back wreak chaos and death.” The media, of course, loved it, promptly casting Macron’s words as a “rebuke” to (who else?) Fox News now is just another corporate cheerleader for globalism. I predicted this when Roger Ailes retired under pressure. Voices selling a pending conclusion to the Mueller investigation of President Trump were dealt a set-back today as Robert Mueller files a motion with the court extending the 2016 Russian interference investigation deep into 2019. The Associated Press is citing court documents filed within the Rick Gates case where the special counsel is requesting additional time for sentencing as an outcome of ongoing cooperation that has expanded the investigation. On the surface, Democrats going all in to fight the appointment of Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general makes little sense. It is perfectly legal. Republicans control the Senate which confirms nominations. Going after Brett Kavanaugh backfired. CNN, apparently not satisfied with merely having nearly cornered the market on fake news, is going for the most incompetent news network as well. Most have likely heard about its attempt to sue the Trump White House (and a Secret Service agent—stay classy, CNN) for having revoked bratty correspondent Jim Acosta’s press pass. Funny thing is, that lawsuit is now exposing CNN for how little it actually knows about anything—including the U.S. Constitution, the truth, and basic good manners.(Snip) CNN and Jim Acosta’s lawsuit against the White House, which alleges First and Fifth Amendment violations, contains several factual inaccuracies.

Florida’s election recount is chugging along as more irregularities are uncovered and a judge asked the warring sides to “ramp down the rhetoric,” saying it erodes public confidence in the election for Senate and governor. One county revealed Monday that it had allowed some hurricane-displaced voters to cast their ballots by email — a violation of state law. Another had to restart its recount after getting about a quarter finished because someone forgot to push a button. And in oft-criticized Broward County, additional sheriff’s deputies were sent to guard ballots and voting machines, even though a judge

Arizona’s Senate race was perhaps the most surprising, and disturbing, midterm result for Republicans and Trump fans. Many struggle to understand how Barry Goldwater’s home state will send a former pink tutu-wearing antiwar activist to Washington. The answer is instructive regarding what Trump Republicanism must do to build a majority. The biggest reason Martha McSally lost is the same reason Republicans lost control of the House: RINOs. Across the nation, moderate college-educated independents who had frequently backed Republicans in prior elections switched sides. We can see this trend both in the Arizona exit polls and the results reported to date.

Mr. Flake made the announcement on the Senate floor minutes after his bid to pass the bill failed.
