Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, fell in her office at the court and fractured three ribs, according to a release from the court Thursday."She went home, but after experiencing discomfort overnight, went to George Washington University Hospital early this morning," the statement said. "Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment." Ginsburg´s health has been a matter of intense speculation in recent years. Ginsburg, the court´s oldest member, is one of the court´s four liberal justices. She has survived multiple bouts with cancer, and in 2014 underwent

I broke two ribs years ago while traveling in France. Stable fractures - everything remained in place - but every breath, every expansion of my lung, caused extreme pain.

#2, nope. Kavanaugh was no doubt trying to remove her judicial robes and grope her.

I´m just wondering what her successor, Amy Coney Barrett, will be accused of. Human sacrifice, maybe?

The justice’s health has long been a matter of concern. In 2014, Ginsburg had a stent placed in her right coronary artery and has survived cancer multiple times. Ginsburg in 2012 fractured two ribs in a fall and remained mum about the incident for several months.

Sorry folks, but she is such a partisan, I suspect she will do all she can to hang on for at least 1 more year, so she dies in the year leading up-to the 2020 election, and the Dems can demand no nominations.

However, I´d presume this will be a very difficult thing to recover from, and be a productive member of the Court for this term.

About twenty years or so ago I fell and broke three ribs. I was at that time in my late fifties. It was a very painful experience. There is nothing you can do except take something for pain. I carried a small pillow with me to hold against myself as it felt somewhat comforting having something soft close to me as I breathed in and out.
Time is the only fix.
I fear for the Justice as this could be a death nil considering her age and level of frailty. Pneumonia may find her as a host.
I may not like her politics but I will say a prayer for her. I identify with the pain and the recovery period could be lengthy.
I look for her official resignation by the end of the year.

Assuming RBG doesn’t return to the SC by January, we will need to monitor GoFundMe to determine whom might be the next accuser of Ruth’s replacement. Watch for the name of a radical leftist professor of similar age who will claim that Nominee X groped, fondled or leered at her/him sometime in the 1980s.

Whomever the accuser is, both Senators Schumer and Blumenthal will find her or him “credible”. Next SC confirmation process, specifically after the formal end of the hearing, will make Justice Kavanaugh’s hearing look like a love fest rather than an attempted lynching.

I don´t wish her ill, but it´s obvious that her clock is winding down. At the Kavanaugh swearing in she was clearly oblivious to what was going on around her. Now she´s fallen with some serious results. That´s generally a sign that the end is near. If she´s wise, she´ll announce her retirement and enjoy what time she´s got left with her family and friends.

Ginsberg doesn´t want to go out like McCain. She needs to retire, recover, and spend some time just loving her family. But that pesky LIE-beral ego (just like McCain had) just keeps getting in the way!!!!!

Tuesday evening Hillary Clinton told a crowd that Stacey Abrams, the apparent loser in Georgia’s recent gubernatorial election, would have won the race if not for Republican chicanery. She claimed—without evidence, to use a term much beloved of the media lately—that the “people on the other side” were guilty of undermining the rights of Georgia voters: Stacey is really in the arena and she is fighting for the right to vote and have your vote counted … If she had a fair election, she already would have won.

Anti-Trump attorney Michael Avenatti was reportedly arrested on charges of felony domestic violence that seriously injured his estranged wife. According to a report in TMZ, the lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels and one of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s less-credible accusers was taken into custody Wednesday after a confrontation “at an exclusive apartment building in the Century City area of L.A.” The celebrity-news site, citing “law enforcement sources,” said the reported attack by Mr. Avenatti took place Tuesday though.

The Obamas’ lives have changed drastically since they left the White House in January 2017, but there is one aspect that has remained stubbornly constant: the lack of anonymity. CHICAGO — To read the worshipful press coverage you’d never know that, for Democrats, the unthinkable has happened: Michelle Obama has revealed herself as just another guru for sale. On Tuesday night, the former first lady kicked off her 10-city North American book tour, which more closely resembled a cult-of-personality-propaganda-rally, at the United Center in Chicago. (Dates have been added in London, where scalped tickets are going for over $90,000 each, and Paris.) A sliver of the 20,000 seats available for the Chicago event were priced at $29.50, and those sold out within five minutes of going on sale in September.
