CNN´s Jim Acosta has press pass suspended
by White House, Sarah Sanders announces

Fox News, by Nicole Darrah

Original Article

Posted By:NorthernDog, 11/7/2018 8:59:58 PM

CNN´s Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta´s press pass to access the White House was suspended "until further notice" Wednesday, hours after he engaged in a contentious back-and-forth with President Trump. "I´ve just been denied entrance to the WH," Acosta tweeted Wednesday night. "Secret Service just informed me I cannot enter the WH grounds for my 8pm hit." (Tweet) White House press secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed Acosta´s tweet in a statement, claiming the suspension of his press credentials stemmed from his "placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern."

Comments:
I didn´t see it at the time but he apparently grappled with the intern trying to get the mic. Other media will omit the real reason he has been kicked out.

Drudge supports the media because it is his bread and butter. He is there for the clicks (cha-ching).. not to mention his freaky thing with sex robots has gone from tabloid tittle tattle to sick creepy obsession. I used to go to his site multiple times a day. Now weeks go by and I don´t visit. There are much better sites.

The press has been hostile, rude and insulting to Republicans and sycophantic to Democrats forever. No one elected Acosta or any of these smart alec Leftists who have no interest in exchanges of information, who ask gotcha questions, who insert their own (ridiculous) opinions into their questions, and who are rude, disrespectful, and hectoring. After watching this same bunch suck up to Barack Obama for eight years, and Obama lied like a rug, when he even did talk to them. I don´t think daily press conferences accomplish much. I think President Trump should stop having them, or at least reduce the number significantly.

I am tired of the media treating our PRESIDENT and other Republicans so nasty. It’s almost like they are the ones who determine who should be respected by all America. Remember how the press stopped standing when President Bush walked into the room. But when clinton or the Kenyan wonder walked into the press room the media had tingles going up and down their legs. It’s about time Acosta was denied access to any press briefing. He’s rude obnoxious and very disrespectful. I won’t miss him at all

Not an opinion echo chamber.
Trump is a good man, but he is not perfect. Drudge is right to expose his feet of clay, just as needs done to every politician.
As to Acosta, I hope that when he gets back in his seat has been relocated to the furthest back position in the room where he belongs.

Any legitimate news organization would be embarrassed and fire a correspondent that acted like that. But not CNN. They will file a lawsuit to get a liberal judge to force the White House to allow their buffoon back in. One other thing. Every other so called journalist in that room sat quietly by while Acosta beclowned himself. They are just like him.

The First Amendment prohibits Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely. Dictionary definition of “Freedom of the Press” - the right to publish newspapers, magazines, and other printed matter without governmental restriction and SUBJECT ONLY TO THE LAWS OF LIBEL, OBSCENITY, SEDITION, ETC.

LIBEL - defamation by written or printed words, pictures, or in any form other than by spoken words or gestures; the act or crime of publishing it; anything that is defamatory or that maliciously or damagingly misrepresents.

SEDITION - incitement of discontent or rebellion against a government; any action, especially in speech or writing, promoting such discontent or rebellion.

The mainstream media’s coverage of the first 60 days of President Trump’s start in office were considerably more negative and less positive than for the Clinton, Bush, and Obama presidencies. Negativity: Trump (62%), Obama(20%), Bush(28%), Clinton(28%).

The Leftist mainstream media accomplishes its negative agenda through biases of commission, omission, condemnation, endorsement, labeling, placement, selected sources, spin, and story selection.

Based on dictionary definitions, today’s mainstream media’s defamation by written or printed words and pictures, published to shape public opinion against President Trump, may be dancing on the edge of “protected speech.”

Jim Acosta’s sympathizers are attempting to defend his behavior at Wednesday’s press conference calling the White House accusation a lie about Acosta “...placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern.” Acosta did touch the young woman’s left arm with the back of his hand as he resisted the directive she was given to take the microphone away from him, an action that had to be unnerving for the young woman—an action that could be considered bullying (bully – an overbearing person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people). Acosta’s behavior toward Sarah Sanders is a matter of public record.

TALLAHASSEE - Nine days after Election Day, and one machine recount later, it is all but official: Ron DeSantis is Florida’s next governor. The anti-Pelosi insurgents are coalescing around a new strategy in their quest to deny Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) the Speaker´s gavel: recruit a woman to run against her. The shift in approach comes as the rebellious group has been faced with a barrage of criticism for trying to take down Pelosi, who became the first female Speaker of the House in 2007, on the heels of an election cycle being dubbed the "Year of the Woman." Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made history this midterm election cycle, becoming the youngest woman ever elected to Congress. Now, the lawmaker is making headlines for highlighting the racism and sexism she says has been at play during her first days on Capitol Hill. On Wednesday, Ocasio-Cortez was on her way to a member luncheon in Washington, D.C., when someone directed her to an event being held at the same time for the spouses of elected Democrats. “I was sent to the spouse event,” she wrote on Twitter. The congresswoman added that she was also stopped because someone

Fox News Channel announced Wednesday it will support CNN’s lawsuit against the White House over the temporary suspension of White House correspondent Jim Acosta’s “hard pass” press credential, revealing the company will file an amicus brief in defense of the partisan network. Fox News issued a statement accusing the White House of “weaponizing” Secret Service passes for reporters: FOX News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential. We intend to file an amicus brief with the U.S. District Court. Secret Service passes for working White House journalists should never be weaponized.

Sen. Jeff Flake announced Wednesday that he will not vote to advance any new judicial nominees through the Judiciary Committee, nor will he vote to confirm picks on the Senate floor, until he gets his way on unrelated legislation to prevent the firing of special counsel Robert Mueller. Mr. Flake made the announcement on the Senate floor minutes after his bid to pass the bill failed. His threat could block the committee from approving any more judges this year, since the GOP only holds a one-seat majority on the panel. It’s less catastrophic to approving judges on the Senate floor,

Newly elected Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez´s (D-NY) housing nightmare may finally be over. According to CBS News, celebrity chef José Andrés, who famously refused to open a restaurant in President Donald Trump´s namesake Washington, D.C., hotel, has graciously offered her a place to stay in his own home."Dear Congresswomen," Andres tweeted, "You have a room, a shower, and a plate on my family table for as long as you may be in need of one." (Snip) Ocasio-Cortez has been mired in housing difficulty since winning her election last week, publicly fretting that she might not be able to handle the financial

Tuesday evening Hillary Clinton told a crowd that Stacey Abrams, the apparent loser in Georgia’s recent gubernatorial election, would have won the race if not for Republican chicanery. She claimed—without evidence, to use a term much beloved of the media lately—that the “people on the other side” were guilty of undermining the rights of Georgia voters: Stacey is really in the arena and she is fighting for the right to vote and have your vote counted … If she had a fair election, she already would have won.

Anti-Trump attorney Michael Avenatti was reportedly arrested on charges of felony domestic violence that seriously injured his estranged wife. According to a report in TMZ, the lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels and one of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s less-credible accusers was taken into custody Wednesday after a confrontation “at an exclusive apartment building in the Century City area of L.A.” The celebrity-news site, citing “law enforcement sources,” said the reported attack by Mr. Avenatti took place Tuesday though.

Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims that she´s unable to afford an apartment in Washington, D.C., until she begins collecting her congressional salary, but records show she has more than enough to plunk down on an apartment in the U.S. capital. The 29-year-old congresswoman-elect rose to fame after she defeated 10-term incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley in New York´s June primary and was elected to represent the state’s 14th Congressional District last week.

It’s the college-application season when a lot of moms starting feeling weepy about their emptying nest. Not Michelle Obama. “That’s the rub of teenagers — they’re bumping up against the limits of where they are because they’re ready for the next thing,” the former first lady tells PEOPLE in an exclusive at-home interview for the cover story in the new issue. (Snip) Plus, she’s got plenty going on in her own White House afterlife: “I’ve got an initiative, I’ve got a book, I’ve got a husband I can see again.” Her memoir Becoming hit bookstores Tuesday and, through the Obama

CHICAGO — To read the worshipful press coverage you’d never know that, for Democrats, the unthinkable has happened: Michelle Obama has revealed herself as just another guru for sale. On Tuesday night, the former first lady kicked off her 10-city North American book tour, which more closely resembled a cult-of-personality-propaganda-rally, at the United Center in Chicago. (Dates have been added in London, where scalped tickets are going for over $90,000 each, and Paris.) A sliver of the 20,000 seats available for the Chicago event were priced at $29.50, and those sold out within five minutes of going on sale in September.

The Obamas’ lives have changed drastically since they left the White House in January 2017, but there is one aspect that has remained stubbornly constant: the lack of anonymity. In a sit-down interview with PEOPLE, former First Lady Michelle Obama discusses her new memoir, Becoming, and what life is now like outside the confines of the 9-bedroom house in Washington, D.C., she shares with her husband, former President Barack Obama, 57, and their younger daughter Sasha, 17. Their eldest daughter Malia, 20, is currently attending Harvard University. “We don’t have the anonymity that allows you to be in the world
