Trump berates CNN´s Jim Acosta in
contentious White House news conference

Washington Times, by S.A. Miller

President Trump on Wednesday admonished CNN reporter Jim Acosta for “rude” behavior and ordered him to sit down during a heated exchange at the White House. At a press conference, Mr. Acosta repeatedly asked the president about his tough stance against a U.S.-bound migrant caravan was “demonizing” immigrants. He then refused to give up the microphone. “You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn’t be working for CNN,” Mr. Trump told Mr. Acosta. “The way you treat Sarah Huckabee [Sanders] is horrible. And the way you treat other people is horrible. You shouldn’t treat people that way.” Mr. Trump later

Minor quibble, instead of "You shouldn’t be working for CNN" shoulda been "CNN is the only place that would have you". Otherwise, bravo Mr. President. :-)

I was watching it too. A reporter was asking about the divide in this country like the media has nothing to do with it.

Let´s see. We had to put up with eight years of Obama but we weren´t stooping to the tactics used by the liberals.

When will the liberals respect that Donald Trump is President of the United States? Maybe they can start being mature.

Just plain courtesy demands that Acosta lose his job. He is hostile, loud, rude, egotistical and ill-mannered. He should be banned from the WH press room. NBC reporters are nearly as bad, as well as April Ryan. The racist accusations are ludicrous and false.

It doesn´t get better than this. President Trump is easily old enough to be Acosta´s parent and you can see the obvious dynamics of a smart aleck child that won´t shut up, especially when he is wrong. Jim must think that he is the spokesperson for the millennials that believe this type of lack of decorum in the White House is justified when they have no other "voice".

The truth is, which they are not mature enough to understand is, when politicians pick sides through their party affiliation, progress gets bogged down for all when one side, as the dRATS party has shown, walk in lock step away from reason and the desires of those who elected them into office.

Albio JAMES Acosta is a prime example of rude, crass, belligerent, behavior. It is amazing that he has any sort of press pass to even a dog show.
It would raise many liberal eyebrows if he was disbarred from the WHITE House. That would be so fun to watch the pompous purveyors of prevarication , AKA news readers, have a meltdown.

I suspect that both Sarah and Trump get a kick out of using him as a verbal punching bag. If he didn´t enjoy it so much, and try to exploit it so much, I suspect he would have a case. He belongs on CNN, and it must just infuriate him that his career is going nowhere fast, thanks to his obnoxious behavior.

I actually think the rest of the media in that room would actually appreciate Trump or Sanders booting Acosta. A portion of the mud that Acosta attracts spills onto them every day.

It was watching live press conferences that made me leave the Democrat Party. These un-elected smart alec Leftists insert their own opinions, ask nothing but "gotcha" questions, aren´t ever seeking actual information, consistently insult Republicans, and then their news channels edit the interactions and responses to make the Republicans look bad. Trump is media savvy so would the WH please get with it and replace traditional press conferences with something more relevant? Press conferences are now simply venues for undignified stage-hogging leftists to show off and try to impress each other. The quality of the people is embarrassing: fat and toupeed or bewigged, wearing ill-fitting clothes, dumpy and wimpy, they are almost all bovine, rude, classless and shockingly stupid. I half expect to hear them low and then raise their hooves to throw stadium cups filled with soggy cud at the president. These self-righteous half-witted snobs represent the country´s leeches and leech wannabes and should be retired and replaced with a cross section of taxpaying citizens asking their own questions. Why, in this day and age, should Jim Acosta or some hack from Beirut have more access to our president than average citizens do?

#8,#11,#24- The old adage, “Handsome is as Handsome Does,” has been expressed by some people regarding Jim Acosta, suggesting that Acosta may be handsome on the outside, but he is ugly on the inside. His behavior is despicable; he behaves like a bully toward President Trump, Sarah Sanders, and further evidenced with Acosta’s resisting the young woman trying to retrieve the microphone from his hand during today’s press conference. Unfortunately, his persona reflects the behavior of many in today’s current crop of journalists--immature, self-centered, smug, egotistical individuals with some prone to throwing temper tantrums when they don’t get their own way. That shameful behavior is beyond the pale and responsible for the divide within this country, including stoking mentally challenged individuals into acts of violence. While these journalists may be intoxicated with the exuberance of their verbosity right now, they, like every mortal, will be held accountable for their thoughts, words, and deeds.

PASCAGOULA, Miss.— A Mississippi man in declining health is telling a story he’s kept secret from his own family for 45 years: he claims he was abducted by aliens. Calvin Parker says he and his buddy Charles Hickson were fishing in 1973 on the banks of the Pascagoula River, just north of where Ingalls Shipyard now sits, when a “real bright beam appeared all over us and it kind of blinded me for a second and when I got my vision back, I seen three bulky looking creatures coming toward us.” Parker said the creatures were “probably 4, 4 1/2, 5 foot tall…built like football players. But I noticed they kind of moved mechanical wise

In the past two months, Ruth Bader Ginsburg has fractured three ribs and had two cancerous nodules removed from her left lung. She was absent from oral argument last week and will miss this week’s arguments as well. Doctors say they expect her to be back on the bench in February, and until then she will review transcripts from her home and participate in the court’s decision-making remotely. But her return to work has not quieted critics who say that Ginsburg should have retired long ago and that her health issues are the latest evidence that justices should not be

WASHINGTON—House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters Wednesday night she “doesn’t care” if the Secret Service said it was prepared to appropriately secure the State of the Union address despite the partial government shutdown. Instead, she stood firm in her resolve to delay the January 29 event until the government completely re-opens. (Photo) In a letter to President Trump, Pelosi claimed the lack of funds to Homeland Security posed a risk to the White House and the Congress during the event, but the Department of Homeland Security Sec. Kirstjen Nielsen released a statement refuting that. She shared that statement in a

Gillette is doubling down on a controversial new campaign that appears aimed at taking on so-called toxic masculinity — but has created a social media firestorm. The two-minute video from Boston-based razor brand Gillette urges men to act against sexual harassment, misogyny and bullying, asking: “Is this the best a man can get?” While fans are applauding the move, critics say it assumes men need to be steered away from negative tendencies. The ad starts off with audio of news about the #MeToo movement, saying, “We can’t hide from it. It has been going on far too long. We

An ESPN host suggested Wednesday it was racist for President Donald Trump to serve fast food to the Clemson football team at the White House, saying such food being given to players of a "predominately black sport" gave her pause. Domnio’s Pizza has been legally required to makes its app and website fully accessible to the visually impaired following a years-long legal battle with a blind customer who was left unable to order a pie with personalized toppings through his iPhone. Guillermo Robles in a lawsuit filed back in September 2016 first accused the popular pizza chain of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act “for its failure to design, construct, maintain, and operate its website to be fully accessible and independently usable” for those who are blind. The Americans with Disabilities Act, made law in 1990, says it is unlawful

In the latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released Thursday, President Donald Trump may have suffered some among Republicans overall, but he saw a huge point gain in a different demographic breakdown, and an unexpected one by conventional wisdom. In early December, the poll had Trump’s approval rating among Latino adults at 31%. The results from the poll released Thursday show the president’s job approval among Latino adults at 50%. That is an astonishing 19 point swing. Prior results had less variance, with Latino approval numbers at 36% in their November 1st findings. It was 27% in the pollster’s mid-October survey.
