Bomb found in mailbox at philanthropist
George Soros’s suburban home

Bedford, NY - A bomb was found in a mailbox at the suburban New York compound of George Soros, the liberal billionaire philanthropist who has been the target of right-wing conspiracy theorists, authorities said Tuesday. Federal investigators were reviewing surveillance video to determine whether the package had been sent through the mail or delivered some other way, officials said, adding it was also not clear if the parcel was addressed to Soros. (Snip) Another federal official who also spoke on condition of anonymity said the device resembled a pipe bomb and was inside a package placed in a mailbox outside

Comments:
"Round up the usual suspect..." Of course, Jews and conservatives are at the top of "their" list. How dumb is it for a security person to move the suspected device? He should be fird because, if it had exploded, Soro´s insurance rates would surely go up.

While there are nutcases of all political persuasions, I´d wager that this was a Leftist scheme to inspire what? Sympathy? For a man who has spent his life destroying liberty and capitalism (from which he has benefited so richly). I would love to see the United States follow Soros´ home country, Hungary´s lead, and outlaw Soros from even being in the United States. Soros´ billions have done more damage to America than any other single force in our nation´s history. Soros has divided Americans, he has encouraged millions of people to despise millions of their fellow Americans. He has repeatedly funded mobs, and for decades forced destructive disinformation into the national psyche. Soros funded and founded moveon.org which is a million person army that pumps confusion and anger into every national issue. (It is moveon.org that creates the sense of false outrage around any conservative which has led to boycotts of normal, honest, Americans and their businesses.) I doubt very much if Soros was ever in any danger. I wouldn´t be surprised to learn that the so-called bomb was non-operative, and just a PR stunt to disingenuously paint non-Progressives as violent, when the truth is that on a daily basis, Progressives have been systematically attacking non-Progressives with words and fists.

Naturally they have to throw in that American patriots investigating and revealing all the subversive and treasonous movements that Soros funds are merely "right-wing conspiracy theorists."

They are not theories, and if the associated press were a real news organization instead of a Fake News propaganda outfit, we might read about it in the MSM.

A shame that every time a radical leftist is targeted by those evil "right-wingers" the plot always fails. That leads to my conspiracy theory that it was a False Flag operation.

Really...?

And Soros picks up his own mail? I don´t think so.

I can imagine about a dozen ways someone COULD take out someone like Soros, but a bomb in his mailbox isn´t one of them.

Also, you can expect a Soros to hire a body double for public appearances - especially if he thinks someone plans harm.

It might be someone´s rather stupid attempt to intimidate him, but a man who has survived the horrors of Nazi Germany, regardless of his methods, isn´t going to b intimidated by that.

I think, especially since it was rather inert, that this is more likely self-planted in the sense he had someone plant it to get sympathy and free police protection.

Considering it was just discovered he´s been buying influence in Christian Churches and creating a cadre of Judas Priests, I can see why.

In its first, record-shattering year, the Women’s March brought together nearly 4 million people in a simultaneous primal scream against the new president. But two years later, the unity has frayed like a well-worn pussy hat, with power struggles playing out in the run-up to marches that will be held across the country on Saturday, Jan. 19. The original Washington, D.C., march organizers, who now operate as the nonprofit Women’s March Inc., have applied for a trademark of the name “Women’s March,” angering local organizers who fear they will have to pay to use it. At the same time, some of the local “sister marchers” are distancing

Washington - A Republican lawmaker advising President Donald Trump said he is encouraging the president to reopen the government for several weeks to continue negotiating with Democrats over funding for a U.S.-Mexico border wall before the president takes the more drastic step of declaring a national emergency. But that may be wishful thinking, given that Sen. Lindsey Graham also says Trump still wants to reach a deal for the wall before agreeing to reopen shuttered government departments. Bush’s top political strategist, was brought in by Senate GOP leaders to speak to the 22 Republican incumbents up for reelection at an all-day planning session Thursday hosted at Nationals Park in southeast Washington,

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin fretted Friday that many Americans would dismiss the news media as a "bunch of leftist liars" in the wake of the BuzzFeed News story called "not accurate" by special counsel Robert Mueller´s office. BuzzFeed set off a Washington firestorm on Thursday with its report that President Donald Trump had directed longtime lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. However, on Friday night, a spokesman for Mueller´s office said the report was "not accurate."

Country music is the most American of musical idioms, alongside jazz. With a longer history than rock and roll or hip-hop, country has produced a powerful pantheon of memorable artists, albums, and songs. Growing up, I pretended not to like country music, even though it was the music I heard my dad listen to the most (while my mom turned me on to the incredible pop and rock of the ‘60s and ‘70s). Nowadays, I’ve shaken that youthful pretension and will admit to enjoying most types of country’s many subgenres. I also have to admit that compiling a list

Protesters among the Women’s March in Washington, DC, Saturday called for free abortions for all, President Trump’s children to be caged, and for Trump to “drop dead.” The left-wing protesters showed support for feminism, prostitution, transgender issues, and immigration. Many demonstrators also showed serious hatred for the president. “Make America Great Again, and Drop Dead!” one sign read. (Photo) One protester called for Trump’s children to be caged. President Trump outlined a plan to end the government shutdown in a Saturday afternoon address, offering three years of legislative relief for 700,000 DACA recipients — including protection from deportation —and Temporary Protective Status awardees. He also offered $800 million in urgent humanitarian assistance, 75 new immigration teams to reduce the court backlog of 900,000 cases, which he called an ´impossible nightmare,´ in remarks from the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House. In exchange, he said he wants $5.7 billion for the ´strategic deployment of physical barriers, or a wall,´ that he will use to put ´steel barriers in

Should you believe in a God? All the discord and vitriol in our culture boils down to how you would answer. Border walls, gay marriage, abortion, national defense, school choice -- where you stand on these issues and the myriad others comprising our daily tussle is for the most part defined by how you answer this question. Your answer, yeah or nay, draws a very hard line. The professional philosopher John G. Messerly begins with this question in his recent Salon piece, “Religion´s smart-people problem: The shaky intellectual foundations of absolute faith.”

Mueller, the wall impasse, the shutdown, the "postponement" of the SOTU – all are skirmishes in the undeclared war on President Trump waged by Democrats, the Deep State, and the compliant media. A decisive battle will be enjoined if Ruth Bader Ginsburg dies or resigns this year. Nothing scares the left more than the prospect of Trump filling another seat on the SCOTUS with a young, fire-breathing constitutionalist who would join with Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh to form a conservative bloc for the ages. Pelosi and Schumer are praying that Justice Ginsburg survives and remains on the bench until

If someone walks up to you and bangs a drum in your face, are you guilty of harassing the drummer? You might be if you’re white and wearing a MAGA hat. Just a day after rushing to judgment about a BuzzFeed story that claimed President Trump had instructed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress — a story Robert Mueller’s own office subsequently debunked, the blue-checkmark media elite had a new instant narrative to promote. It was a tale perfectly tailored to liberal biases: white Catholic teenagers in MAGA hats had harassed an old and frail Indian veteran during the March

President Trump’s immigration compromise package to end the partial government shutdown drew sharp reactions from Democratic and Republican lawmakers alike. In a televised White House address on Saturday afternoon, Trump offered Democrats a three-year extension of protections for 700,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, in exchange for the $5.7 billion he has been seeking for a barrier along the nation´s southern border with Mexico. “Our immigration system should be a source of pride ... not a source of shame as it is all over the world,” Trump said in his plea. The president’s proposal was met with disdain
