Trump ‘not satisfied’ with crown prince’s
explanation of Khashoggi killing

New York Post, by Mark Moore

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 10/23/2018 7:17:44 AM

President Trump said he spoke to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman about the killing of Jamal Khashoggi and doesn’t like his explanation from the Saudis for why the journalist was killed. “I’m not satisfied with what I’ve heard,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Monday as he left for a rally in Texas for GOP Sen. Ted Cruz. Saudi officials on Saturday said Khashoggi was accidentally strangled after he got into a fistfight with Saudi security officials after arriving at the consulate in Turkey on Oct. 2.

Aside from the fact that we should not ruin our relationship with Saudi Arabia for strategic reasons, I really don’t care about this issue.

Does it sound too much like a conspiracy theory to wonder if this is a deliberate plot to ruin the US relationship with Saudi Arabia, so that Iran will be the more powerful Mid Eastern force?

It´s hard not to be dissatisfied with that crazy explanation, but Trump should back away from the whole thing.

#3, no it’s not too much is conspiracy theory. Jamal was a point man and PR stooge for the ousted royals. They and the Western globalists are fighting tooth and nail for a return to “normal.” Trillions are at stake. They will do anything, including sacrificing one of their own to get rid of MbS and Trump. I hope Trump is just stringing this along for consumption by the outraged leftist cabal, and is not jeopardizing MbS reform efforts. Btw, the Saudis are practiced at publicly condemning Israel while working with it under the table on critical issues of mutual benefit.

Saudi Arabia represents itself to be the most Islamic country in the Islamic world. Why does the USA have to import that religious/political based based dark age culture into the USA?

That’s what Barack Obama and the liberal and socialist Democrats were doing by allowing as many foreign Muslims as possible into the USA through all sorts of immigration exceptions even allowing the UN to decide which Muslim “refugees” the USA must accept for resettlement, believing that those foreign Muslims would organize themselves in accordance with Democrat identity based politics as a new liberal and socialist Democrat constitutency voting group in the years ahead.

That is before the liberal and socialist Democrats were knocked out of the box by President Trump and his Make America Great Again policies and programs. Everyone should vote in the midterm election to keep it that way.

Three top Senior Justice Department officials, two who are senior prosecutors on Robert Mueller’ Special Counsel, met with Bruce Ohr in the summer of 2016. This meeting happened well before the FBI sought a FISA warrant on a Trump campaign official. Ohr informed the trio of DOJ officials about his close contact with former British Spy Christopher Steele, whose dossier was part of the evidence used to investigate the Trump campaign. Further, Ohr warned the dossier was not vetted. The FBI, however, used as the bulk of evidence from the dossier to obtain

The quote he denied saying was: "President Trump got all our favorite foods. It was the best meal we ever had. Then we go and see the coastal elite media trashing it for not being organic vegan. We’re football players, not bloggers. This was a perfect blue-collar party.”

Government shutdown stories aren’t sexy, everyone can see that. Nevertheless, it is curious that the journalists who most loathe Trump are so willing to distract their audiences from a political crisis which polls show is hurting the President, to focus again on the exhausting Russia conspiracy, which isn’t. This weekend, we saw another flurry of noisy Trump-Russia scoops. The latest allegations feel thinner than usual — yet still they dominated the airwaves and Twitter feeds of media VIPs. On Friday, the New York Times related that the FBI ‘became so concerned’ about Trump’s firing of FBI director James B. Comey

Mayor de Blasio gave his sixth State of the City address Thursday, and he conjured an image of a revolutionary leader prying money from terrified billionaires. That’s because, in a Democratic primary with candidates tracking increasingly leftward, he stands out for the wrong reason: When it comes to governing, de Blasio is more old-school, big-city Democratic pragmatist than new-school, Democratic Socialist. He fears his left flank. De Blasio used to talk about New York as a tale of two cities. Now, he is trying to write a tale for two audiences.

In border fight, Democrats want ´technological

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California says a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border would be "immoral." Instead, she favors something she calls a "technological wall." Another top House Democrat, Rep. Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, calls it a "smart wall." Instead of building an actual physical barrier of steel, concrete, or some other material, Pelosi, Clyburn, and other Democrats advocate employing an array of high-tech devices — drones, infrared sensors, surveillance cameras, and more — to keep track of activity at the border without physical impediments to discourage illegal crossings.

The Supreme Court has declined to intervene in a mysterious subpoena fight that apparently involved an unidentified foreign-government-owned company and special counsel Robert Mueller. Last month, the unknown firm asked the high court to block a federal judge’s contempt order and $50,000-a-day penalty for refusing to comply with the subpoena, arguing that the company is immune from U.S. grand jury subpoenas. The company also insisted that complying with the subpoena would violate the law in the firm’s home country.

Los Angeles County has agreed to conduct a purge of its voting rolls, in a move that could strip perhaps 1.5 million inactive voters from the lists of those eligible to cast ballots. The county made the deal in a settlement last week with Judicial Watch, a conservative public interest firm, saying that under a recent Supreme Court ruling, it has a duty to remove names of people who appear to have either died, moved from the county or lost interest in voting. The county committed to mailing hundreds of thousands of voters already deemed inactive

So far, Der Spiegel editors said Wednesday, they had found that Relotius “made up stories and invented protagonists” in at least 14 of the 60 stories examined so far. But they said the investigation is only beginning. The editors said they were “astounded and sad” by the discovery, which they called “a low point in Der Spiegel’s 70-year history.”

A near majority of Republicans do not have a favorable view of freshman Senator Willard “Mitt” Romney (R-UT), according to a PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist poll released on Thursday. The poll, conducted January 10-13, found 48% of “Republicans and conservative-leaning” have an “unfavorable” view Romney. Just 29% view Romney favorably while another 23% are “unsure” or “never heard” of him. Never Trumpers like Bill Kristol have said Romney is now the “leader of the Republican Resistance to” President Donald Trump, and the PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist poll again shows how unpopular of a label that is among Republicans.

Country music is the most American of musical idioms, alongside jazz. With a longer history than rock and roll or hip-hop, country has produced a powerful pantheon of memorable artists, albums, and songs. Growing up, I pretended not to like country music, even though it was the music I heard my dad listen to the most (while my mom turned me on to the incredible pop and rock of the ‘60s and ‘70s). Nowadays, I’ve shaken that youthful pretension and will admit to enjoying most types of country’s many subgenres. I also have to admit that compiling a list
