Watch–Donald Trump: ‘I’m a

Breitbart Politics, by Charlie Spiering

President Donald Trump proclaimed himself a nationalist on Monday, shunning the precepts of “globalism” throughout the world. “A globalist is a person that wants the globe to do well, frankly, not caring about our country so much,” Trump said. “You know what I am? I’m a nationalist. Okay? A nationalist. Use that word.” The president spoke about nationalism during his political rally in Houston, Texas with Senator Ted Cruz. The crowd responded by roaring with approval and chanting “U-S-A!!!” Trump acknowledged that people repeatedly tried to avoid the term because it was “bad” and “old-fashioned” but embraced it. He said

This is also why the GOP globalists hate him too - some carefully hiding it now but they do. No Republican would ever risk the wrath of their big donors by EVER declaring such a thing. Its why we conservatives admire our President so much.

Jim Acosta, the chief White House correspondent for CNN, told the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia last week, in a written declaration delivered under penalty of perjury, that he “politely” questioned President Donald Trump at a November 7 press conference. Acosta submitted the sworn declaration, which is dated Nov. 13, as part of the lawsuit he and CNN have brought against President Trump, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and other White House officials for revoking his White House reporter’s “hard pass.” (Video) “I, Abilio James Acosta, hereby declare under penalty of perjury the following,” Acosta said

WASHINGTON- Cat lovers know when their precious kitties groom themselves, their tongues are fairly scratchy. Utilizing high-tech scans and other tricks, scientists are now learning how those sandpapery tongues help cats get clean and stay cool. The secret: Tiny hooks that spring up on the tongue — with scoops built in to carry saliva deep into all that fur. A crew of mechanical engineers reported the findings Monday, and claim they’re more than a curiosity. They could lead to inventions for pets and people. “Their tongue could help us apply fluids, or clean carpets, or apply medicine” to hairy skin,

California Gov. Jerry Brown appears to have quietly admitted President Donald Trump´s suggestion about improving California forestry was correct and is now urging state lawmakers to loosen restrictive logging regulations put in place to appease environmentalists. The Santa Cruz Sentinel reports that Brown is proposing one of the most significant changes to the state´s logging rules in nearly half a century. "Gov. Jerry Brown is proposing broad new changes to California’s logging rules that would allow landowners to cut larger trees and build temporary roads without obtaining a permit as a way to thin more forests across the state," the

Justices Neil Gorsuch and Sonia Sotomayor jointly dissented Monday after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to take up a case concerning drunk driving and the Constitution’s confrontation clause, an apparent first for the divergent pair. Monday’s dissenting opinion from Gorsuch and Sotomayor keeps with the tendency of criminal procedure issues to scramble the Court’s usual alliances. The case was occasioned in April 2015 when an Alabama woman named Vanessa Stuart, who was driving while intoxicated, collided with another vehicle on Interstate 10. The second vehicle careened off the highway into a wooded area — its driver, Tiffany Howell, died before

Mexico and three Central American countries have filed a protest with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights over President Trump’s new asylum policy, arguing their citizens should be allowed to flee their countries to find refuge in the U.S. The complaint, reported by El Universal, a Mexican newspaper, was filed by the human rights ombudsmen for Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. The complaint says migrants who make it into the U.S., even if entering illegally, must be allowed to demand asylum in the U.S. They were objecting to a proclamation Mr. Trump signed earlier this month enacting a policy

As midterm results are finally finalized, some with ambiguous implications, the only clear takeaway is that our country is massively divided. While the GOP solidified its control of the Senate despite losing the House of Representatives, the Republican Party is now little more than an asterisk in the nation’s most populous state. Americans on the right side of our political divide in the rest of the country may gloat or lament the Golden State’s emerging single-party rule, but they ignore it at their peril. Far from an electoral aberration or folly, California’s potential to reshape U.S. politics is only going

It has been speculated that Mitt Romney’s Utah Senate seat could serve as a prelude to another Presidential run. In the most ambitious version of events, he could even challenge Donald Trump in the 2020 primaries, newly legitimized and augmented by his actions in the Capitol Building. This would allow moderate Republicans to reclaim their party’s mantle and unroot alt-right influences. But would Romney do it? His willingness to unequivocally challenge Trump could be seen either as a pro or con by Republicans, depending on their opinions of the sitting president.

To look back at the moment John Kerry entered US public life, addressing the Senate foreign relations committee on 22 April 1971, is to be struck by many things. There are the famous words, of course: “How do you ask a man to be the last man to die in Vietnam? How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?” There is the shock of dark, Beatles-inspired hair, the distinctly British-tinged accent. Above all, there is the self-possession. Championing the cause of the poor, Pope Francis on Sunday lamented that "the wealthy few" enjoy what, "in justice, belongs to all" and said Christians cannot remain indifferent to the growing cries of the exploited and the indigent, including migrants. Francis invited about 6,000 poor people as well as some of the volunteers who help them to the splendor of St. Peter´s Basilica where he celebrated Mass on a day the Catholic Church dedicates to the needy. Later, he sat down with 1,500 of the indigent for a lunch of lasagna, chicken, mashed potatoes and tiramisu in a Vatican auditorium.
