Paid protesters are real. Crowds on Demand, a Beverly Hills company that’s an outspoken player in the business of hiring protesters, boasts on its website that it provides its clients with “protests, rallies, flash-mobs, paparazzi events and other inventive PR stunts. ... We provide everything including the people, the materials and even the ideas.” But according to a lawsuit filed by a Czech investor, Crowds on Demand also takes on more sordid assignments. Zdenek Bakala claims the company has been used to run an extortion campaign against him. Bakala has accused Prague investment manager Pavol Krupa of hiring Crowds on

We need to start making the personal lives of the owners and leaders of this horror show company ´enjoy´ their own product and then decide that it is no longer fun.

We need their photos, names, home addresses, photos of their cars....so we all can thank them, every chance we get.

Turn about is fair play.

Yakuzas in Japan are usually hired to disrupt stockholders meeting and other business and political conferences. They are also hired or paid to abstain from such events. Dealing with Yakuza has become part of a corporate annual budget. Police ignores such arrangement due to lack of formal complaint from the organizations involved. Generations of bribe and extortion relationship between Yakuzas and business society allowed both to co-exist for harmony and peace. An irony by American standard.

A couple of years ago I was watching a cable tv show featuring a couple who wanted to buy a fixer upper in the LA area. When asked what they did for a living both said they were professional protestors. And how much were they able to spend on a home? 300K.

On Wednesday, asked about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s stance to postpone President Trump’s State of the Union Address and why she would take that position, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) gave a biting answer that was dead right: Pelosi doesn’t want Trump to directly address the American people because then they will get a different message than the mainstream media will give them. Pelosi wrote to President Trump on Wednesday, "Sadly, given the security concerns and unless government re-opens this week, I suggest we work together to determine another suitable date after government has re-opened for this address or for you

On Wednesday, CNN’s Chris Cuomo appeared to compare Rep. Less than 24 hours after congressional Democrats snubbed a group of grieving “angel moms” who’d sought to speak with them about the ongoing border security/government shutdown fight, these same Democrats held a rally on behalf of another set of purported victims: furloughed government workers. “Each one of these Americans has a different story about how the shutdown is hurting them and their families,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer bellyached Wednesday as he and his peers stood at the bottom of the U.S. Capitol holding photos of furloughed workers and their family members. “Everyone of us hears over and over again

House Democrats on Thursday agreed to vote again on legislation to open up the government through February after Republicans complained that the bill passed without a recorded vote. Republicans were caught off-guard when the bill, which would reopen the government through Feb. 28, sailed through the House on a voice vote. GOP lawmakers were eager to register their opposition to the bill, since it doesn´t include any funding for President Trump´s proposed border wall. As soon as it passed in a voice vote, Republicans complained that they were not given a chance to request a roll-call vote from Democrats, who

It’s tough to tell. Does this make the shutdown a bug … or a feature? Nancy Pelosi has asked Donald Trump to put off his State of the Union speech to the joint session of Congress until after the funding issues have been resolved: (Copy of Letter/Tweet) And with that, the new Speaker of the House just made the best case possible for a perpetual shutdown. Kidding! What I meant to say was that Nancy Pelosi has finally sounded a note of wisdom, at least in her reminder that presidents used to just deliver a report in writing to Congress.

Domnio’s Pizza has been legally required to makes its app and website fully accessible to the visually impaired following a years-long legal battle with a blind customer who was left unable to order a pie with personalized toppings through his iPhone. Guillermo Robles in a lawsuit filed back in September 2016 first accused the popular pizza chain of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act “for its failure to design, construct, maintain, and operate its website to be fully accessible and independently usable” for those who are blind.
