Police in Mexico try to stop caravan of Central
American migrants determined to reach the US

ABC News, by Matt Gutman and Bill Hutchinson

A caravan of thousands of footsore Central American migrants who say they are seeking refuge from violence in their countries was moving north Sunday under the close watch of an army of Mexican federal police in riot gear. Mexican officials said federal police were staying in front of the caravan, which stretched about two miles and comprised of mostly people from Honduras and Guatemala, many of whom say they are determined to reach the U.S. border 1,700 miles away.

They are not going to walk 1700 miles. What a fiasco.

Maybe our police could take a page from the Mexican playbook and escort them to the Canadian border.

Keep in mind: poverty is a powerful tool of the globalists.

That´s why the Democrats need these people.

Their rallying cry: mobs not jobs.

All of the photos and videos I´ve seen show that the vast, vast majority of these ´migrants´ are late teens and adult males. Why does the media want to promote them as migrant families? Looks more like the hordes that have invaded Europe over the years, including ISIS and their wannabes.

Seems to me we need to mass troops at the border now and tell the Mexican government that if this group gets within 50 miles if the US we will send troops across the border to meet them. Then we will transport them back to their home countries.

What the hell is a "caravan", anyway? It´s just a mob attempting an invasion. If they try to enter in Texas just close the bridges. If they try the wetback way I´m sure some land owners and the US Army can "discourage" them.

If they were trying, it would be happening.

Not buying the story that they are trying to stop this and deport them.

Two cops come up, grab one illegal and haul him to the bus, cuff him to the bus. Repeat until the bus is full, drive to border. Line of buses, line of cops.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Same way to deport a mob, on illegal at a time.

The centenary of the armistice that ended World War I on Nov. 11 inevitably raises questions about the United States’ involvement in that conflict, which cost the lives of 50,585 Americans and wounded 205,690. Many Americans have believed, both at the time and since, that the United States ought not to have fought a faraway foreign war that looked like just the latest of the endemic dynastic quarrels of the European continent, from which the young American republic should have stood aloof. Are they right? On Jan. 16, 1917, the German foreign minister, Count Arthur Zimmermann, dispatched a telegram

The main Honduran migrant caravan, still estimated to be roughly 4,000 strong, has been camped out in a sports stadium in Mexico City for the better part of a week now. That’s coming to an end this morning, however, as their patience has apparently been exhausted. Caravan leaders have gotten everyone together to decide their next move and, perhaps predictably, they’re heading north again. But rather than taking the shorter route toward Texas, they are opting for the longer and more dangerous route

Fourteen additional bodies were discovered on Saturday, in addition to the nine bodies recovered on Friday, according to California fire officials. Four of those victims were found dead in or near torched vehicles in the bucolic town of Paradise, which has been almost entirely decimated by the Camp Fire. Autopsies will be conducted to determine the circumstances of the deaths and to identify the individuals, but investigators believe their cars

Lawyers for the Florida Democratic gubernatorial and Senate candidates objected Friday to the rejection of a provisional ballot cast by a noncitizen, according to a transcript obtained by Fox News. The incident occurred during a canvassing meeting Friday in Palm Beach County, where provisional ballots were being examined. According to the draft transcript of the meeting, taken by a court reporter hired by the Florida Republican Party, a provisional ballot was ordered excluded from the count, as it came from a non-U.S. citizen. “First one of these we’ve seen,” said Judge August Bonativa. “Not a U.S. citizen, not counted.”

Republicans lost the House but held the Senate in the midterm election. That puts Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell in the catbird seat. After a bumpy start, he gets along smoothly with President Trump. He doesn’t need the House to pursue his top priority, filling the federal courts with conservative judges. In the past two years, 84 have been confirmed to lower courts and 2 to the Supreme Court—an impressive record. Democrats were slow to react as the White House, McConnell, and Chairman Chuck Grassley of the Senate Judiciary Committee built a political juggernaut

The saying, often attributed to Joe Stalin, is likely apocryphal. But it goes something like this: “It doesn’t matter who votes. It only matters who counts the votes.” It’s unlikely old Joe, who is doubtless burning in Hell, said this. There’s no evidence he ever gave voting a moment’s thought in his entire murderous life. Regardless of who did or didn’t say it, it’s being bruited about Florida just now, and for good reason. It has enough truth quotient to it to make Republicans very nervous. Florida Republicans better be at general quarters now.

Local Democratic officials in Broward and Palm Beach counties in Florida are recklessly violating state law in what may be an attempt to overturn the results of Tuesday’s midterm elections for governor and the U.S. Senate in the Sunshine State. Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda C. Snipes said Tuesday night that 634,000 votes had been cast in the county. But by Thursday night,
