A Nebraska public school district says it will not be serving kangaroo meat again after a recent incident that cost a cook his job. Kevin Frei, the former junior/senior high school head cook at Potter-Dix school district, added kangaroo meat to a chili served for lunch on Oct. 10, according to a Wednesday letter from district superintendent Mike Williams. When later confronted about the decision to serve the exotic meat mixed with beef, Frei said he used kangaroo meat for its nutritional value. It´s a very lean meat, Frei told Williams, according to the letter. Williams said in the

School chili -- now THAT´S something to worry about, regardless of what kind of meat they used. But seriously, school cafeterias have always served mystery meat (as did my Army mess halls), so I guess the problem is that somebody finally identified what´s in it.

Kangaroos aren´t "cute" they breed like rabbits and can do great damage to a farm. Killing them for meat is humane... far better than letting them starve due to over population, just like deer.

At least the guy did not serve "School all beef hot dogs" with "beeflips, rectums, udders, tongues and hearts-

Mmmm- I still remember ´hot dog day" at my grade school. I could smell those fresh buns baking and the boiling foot-long hotdogs- my class room was right next to the cafeteria. I could hardly think I would be so hungry for them. They were without doubt, the best hot-dogs I ever ate.

Kangaroos- aren´t they related to opossums? Hmmm- I never ate an opossum. I ate a raccoon once though. Was tough- but, not bad with ketchup and plenty of hot-sauce.- I imagine kangaroos taste something like goat- which reminds me of raccoon. Which reminds me, I am glad I finally grew up and moved out of the Ozarks.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Advocates for gender equality are reckoning with what one called a "wonderful challenge" — four or more women running for president in 2020. To many activists, that means a field more reflective of a party that counts women as a crucial voting bloc. But the prospect of multiple women in the race also presents obstacles, with no single candidate holding a claim to women´s votes to the degree Hillary Clinton did in 2016. The women´s vote, and groups that provide financial and grassroots support, could split. Looming over it all is persistent gender bias and the
