´We are hungry!" Migrants wail
at Mexico-Guatemala border

Associated Press, by Sonia Perez D. and Mark Stevenson

TECUN UMAN, Guatemala — A standoff between thousands of Central American migrants trying to reach the United States and Mexican police stretched through the night with some migrants hanging from the closed border gate wailing "there are children here" while others slept on the crowded bridge linking Guatemala to Mexico. (Snip) As night fell on the bridge, the migrants´ frustration turned to despair as women clutching small children took up the rows in front of the gate pleading with the Mexican federal police. Some migrants yelled "We are hungry!" Others wailed that they had children while others set up

Comments:
Let´s see - they drag small children along on a 900 mile trip through rural Mexico, and never thought about food, water, sleeping accommodations, etc... Doesn´t add up.

one lady who supposedly had eight children, brought two with her and left the other six back in Guatemala . . . she is okay with leaving them there when it is so terrible?

Oh, those poor children! Those desperate hungry children!

Someone should find their parents - - and tell them that their children are hungry and wandering about helplessly.

Yes - - contact their parents immediately!

anyone who doesn´t beleive this was a democrat organized event is blind. The only real trasction the dems got over the past 6 or so months was the pics of families being separated at the border...going back to their playbook. Trump should let Mexico know if they allow passage we will shut the southern border which will include the shipping of factory goods from Mexico.

Let the media take care of them. They complain about how horrible their plight is, and then go home to their million dollar homes.

The migrants mostly look too well dressed too well fed, pretty stromg and healthy and young and male.Perfect cover for terrorist infiltration. So glad PT is taking the tough line with the Central American countries.

Can y´all get your fabricated narrative straight? Propaganda´s hard enough to swallow when it follows a consistent timeline...

Nobody is "hungry"...it´s simply political theatre.

Now, with this, when will someone pin the rap of "Child Abuse" on this charade, its participants and its organizers? Anyone? That is the most effective way of taking the political steam out of these things...expose them using the left´s verbiage, demand these people (and their organizers) take care of their children rather than expose them to hunger, thirst and many other dangers - basic Alinsky.

Who says walls are stupid and we can just use increased surveillance? Also, the crowds dismantling fences must be hiding people that brought tools. This was a well-planned effort. As for the ´feed me´ argument: anyone that turns themselves in and submits to incarceration and deportment can have food.

The hard line President Trump needs to take should also include remittances south. All remittances to certain countries should be taxed at 50%. Legal taxpayers can claim this on their tax forms and get it back. For illegals, it is a fee for services rendered for staying illegally in a country that they basically burgled their way into.

We´ve been invaded for the past 4 decades; how else to explain that English is a second language for big percentages of school children? It´s absurd. There are 6 billion people on the planet, 3 billion who would or will come here if they think they can get away with it. Compassion is killing us, but the Left is just fine with that. Deport Leftists with the illegals and build the wall higher every year.

Shame on you for using your children as tools to get into a country that doesn´t want you.

Should have packed some sandwiches and brought water! Do you people always take long walks and expect others to feed you??? I wonder if they are even their own children! None of the people I saw looked starved. Only I noticed that they were dragging some flag along and singing whatever and fists up? Is that meant to tell us open the border, prepare a buffet, give us beds and showers, we will give you tomorrow our list of demands of what we want and need: Free houses, free cars, free food, free clothing, free to eat in restaurants, actually, FREE everything!

Poster uses the figure of 900 miles. Google says 1178 mi. to McAllen TX, 1864 to El Paso Tx, and if they want Calif entry 2493 t San Diego. Tell me how 3 to 4k people travel that distance before Nov 6 w/o trucks and buses. Using the poster´s 900 mi. figure it´s 18 days at 50 mi per day using the old military walk 50, ride 50 strategy. If half ride while half walk, it would still require 60 trucks at 50 per truck for 3000 people.

Slightly off topic, but FOX News has had Griff Jenkins at McAllen, TX for the last couple of days, watching the border patrol intercept illegal border crossers. He said this morning that 10 people were crossing the river now, and the border patrol was waiting to arrest them. How about firing some shots over their heads- and making them turn around? We don´t want them here. Why should we take them into custody and let them live off of taxpayers until their cases come up? The custodial facilities are full - on purpose (think Cloward-Piven). They are hoping to be released into the American population.

Bottom line: we need to be more aggressive about repelling these leeches. Don´t let them in in the first place! Probably some legal loophole is responsible for this insanity.

Stacey Abrams is not conceding. That’s what she said at a press conference in Atlanta on Friday. “This is not a speech of concession,” she told supporters and reporters, “because concession means an action is right, true, or proper. As a woman of conscience and faith, I cannot concede that.” But the former Georgia state representative and Democratic nominee for governor did essentially end her campaign and recognize that her opponent, Brian Kemp, the GOP nominee and former state secretary of state, will officially win the election. “I acknowledge that Brian Kemp will be certified as the victor in

The Woolsey fire has burned nearly 100,000 acres in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Thousands of people in mobile-home parks and tony gated communities alike have been displaced. Many have lost their homes completely. California government officials have estimated that more than 1 million homes throughout the state are located in "high-risk" fire areas. That´s a lot of property to protect when a fast-moving wildfire is approaching, and county fire departments and volunteers often can´t manage the job alone. George Conway, a conservative attorney whose wife is Donald Trump´s senior White House counselor, said in an interview released Friday that he decided not to pursue a plum job in the Trump administration´s Department of Justice when it became clear the president would constantly be crossing swords with the agency. ´I´m watching this thing and you know it’s like, the administration is like a sh*tshow in a dumpster fire,´ he said. ´If I got this door prize, I’m going to be in the middle of a department he’s at war with. Why would anybody want to do this?´ Conway was under consideration to

California Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell is calling for government confiscation of all semi-automatic rifles. In other words, every rifle in America.(tweets)Further, he´s warning citizens of nuclear annihilation should people refuse to comply.(tweets)When he was confronted, Swalwell tried to backtrack with some context and further explanation.(tweets)He then pulled the victim card.(tweet)"Gun buyback" is a nice term for confiscation, which Swalwell acknowledged. "Assault rifle" is a politically loaded, misleading term used by the left to demonize semi-automatic rifles. And yes, confiscating millions of privately owned firearms is indeed tyrannical. Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, a Democrat, refused to concede in her race against Republican Brian Kemp, but has said there is no possibility of her defeating Kemp and has concluded her bid for Georgia governor. "I acknowledge that former Secretary of State Brian Kemp will be certified as the victor in the 2018 gubernatorial election," Abrams said Friday. "This speech is not a concession, because concession means to acknowledge an action is right, true, or proper," Abrams said. "As a woman of conscience and faith, I cannot concede that. Democrat Stacey Abrams ended her bid to be Georgia governor late Friday in a speech which she said was not a ´concession´ but an acknowledgment that she cannot win. She said Brian Kemp, the Republican candidate, would win the vote count which was due to be certified at 5 p.m., just as she made the speech. But she ended her bid to be the nation´s first black female governor defiantly saying that she would be suing in federal court over the election´s ´gross mismanagement´, taking a bitter election with claims of racist voter suppression into a new arena.
