The Surprising Humility of Donald Trump
Daily Wire, by Michael J. Knowles

No one is better at deprecating President Trump than President Trump—just ask him. And yet for all the boasting and braggadocio, the man who never saw a building he didn’t want to slap his name on has lately exposed a surprising humble streak. Earlier this month during the Kavanaugh confirmation circus, Trump answered a reporter’s question about alcohol by explaining, “I can honestly say I’ve never had a beer in my life. It’s one of my only good traits.” As the reporters laughed, he asked, “Can you imagine if I had, what a mess I’d be? I’d be the world’s

His speeches are filled with "We did this" rather than the Obama era "I did this". That is true humility. I can count on one hand the times he uses the word I and usually it is to tell the audience a personal story. But when it comes to the economy he gives all the credit to the American worker and American businesses and they love him for it.

Trump may talk about himself quite a bit but look at what he DOES. The things he does are for the American People. What does he personally care if 401Ks and pensions go down. It affects him not at all. Do tax cuts matter to Trump personally. Reduction of regulation may impact Trump´s businesses positively but him personally, not much. Is Trump affected directly by terrorism? Do better trade deals or more energy supplies effect Trump the man? He is wealthy beyond all that.

Trump is doing all these things FOR US and because he thinks they are the right things to do. He brags that he knows he can pull it off and asks for our votes. He has delivered, spectacularly. He´s probably entitled to have a bit of ego. He´s earned it.

My take on Trump’s so-called ‘bragging,’ is that the main stream media does not publish any of his achievements and it seems that we might not even know them, if he didn’t tell us! I never cared to watch any of Obama’s speeches. They were all about him, not any accomplishments for the people. However, Trumps speeches are energetic, praise for leaders around the country, and fun to watch. The media is our enemy. They have lied so many times that the people are “woke” now. We go to alternative media sites for real news.
