What if the Republicans
Win Everything Again?

New York Times, by David Leonhardt

Original Article

The end of Robert Mueller’s investigation. The loss of health insurance for several million people. New laws that make it harder to vote. More tax cuts for the rich. More damage to the environment. A Republican Party molded even more in the image of President Trump. These are among the plausible consequences if the Republicans sweep the midterm elections and keep control of both the House and Senate. And don’t fool yourself. That outcome, although not the most likely one, remains possible. The last couple of weeks of polling have shown how it could happen.

It will show that the nation is angry and fed up with the democrats. My questions is what have they offered the U.S. citizens besides destruction and obstruction. Ever since Obamacare they are going in the direction of socialism.

What if? I’ll tell you, what if. There will be millions of patriotic Americans smiling, but at the same time those people will brace themselves for the onslaught that will be coming. The democrat temper tantrum will be something to see. The wailing, gnashing of teeth and general over the top outpouring of grief and disbelief will be something we have not seen before not to mention the raw anger. I honestly do not know what these terrible toddlers will do when they understand they have been rejected again.

It is my prayer that the country can weather the chaos they will, no doubt, create. God help us if we are not victorious. If we have learned anything in these past two years, it is that the left is without honor or integrity and will do or say anything to gain power. Therefore, those kind of people should never be in a position of power. They manufacture situations of which nightmares are made. Pray and vote Republican on November 6th. We must defeat the most existential threat facing this country in its history. We are thisclose to destroying the very foundation that has created this wonderful country. We must be victorious. VRN6.

Ignoring all of the lies and disinformation in this article, there is one fact that most prognosticators are forgetting: They are saying that Democrats will win back the House. They are forgetting that Trump defied all polls and predictions in getting elected in the first place. Why wouldn’t he defy predictions about the Dems taking back the House? Is everybody misreading the polls again?

I think we’re in for a red tide.

When Republicans win again, we will probably have plagues of locusts and frogs and the seas will rise 500 feet and ice cream will melt and we will all stub our toes.

Liberals think the Country is in a disaster movie that they are writing the plot for.

They are idiots. How can they be so constantly wrong and still have some people think they have anything useful to say?

This article shows the Dems are running scared. Five Thirty was WAY OFF in their predictions for the 2016 election and I think they´re way off now! Trump in drawing Thousands and Thousands at every Rally. That says Republicans are at least as pumped up as last time around, and maybe more so! Democrats have given us so much to fear about them. We KNOW they will create nothing but havoc if they win the House. We want to see Trump´s agenda move forward, not be tied up by Democrats trying to stall It and Impeach him as well. I think we will win Both Houses! Republicans are mad as heck about the Mobs and the nasty members of Congress and their treatment of Kavanaugh. We will be heard at the Polls!

Read this article carefully. It demonstrates the author´s firm belief that if the Republicans retain/strengthen control of the House and Senate, Trump will do EXACTLY as Barack Obama did (only in reverse). Obama increased private sector regulation to the point of economic stagnation. Trump would relax it for continued GDP growth. Obama opened our borders to illegal aliens, inviting chaos. Trump would reinforce them, forcing aliens desiring entry to legally apply for citizenship. Obama encouraged voter fraud. Trump would discourage it (what the author calls "voter suppression." Obama signed executive orders based on the "fixed science" of climate change. Trump would challenge that. Obama set in place the straw man Russian collusion that launched the Mueller investigation (i.e., the soft coup of the Deep State). Trump would end it, or let it die a slow and painful death. Obama "use[d] the law as an instrument of political power rather than one of justice." Trump would be able to do likewise. I understand the Deep State´s fear. They´ve seen what Obama has done in the name of his brand of democracy. They fear--and rightly--that Trump could take his lead and do likewise. Yes, Barack. Elections DO have consequences.

The fact that this piece exists at all is evidence that the "Blue Wave" is a myth.

The GOP might lose a few seats in the house (most off-year elections go against the president), but I think the Democrats and their toadies can already see that this isn´t going the way they hoped.

The Kavanaugh hearings energized the Republican base, and the continued screeching and craziness by the Democratic left is only helping to maintain this energy.

" A wall is an immorality between countries,” Nancy Pelosi said the other day. The New York Times recently ran a piece entitled “There is Nothing Wrong with Open Borders.” Democrats across the country routinely call for the abolition of ICE and the spread of sanctuary cities. Here and there Democrats may dissent from the platform of open borders, but it is clear that the ideological core of the party favors it. Top officials at the DNC, such as Keith Ellison, walk around in T-shirts emblazoned with calls for open borders. Out of this absolutism has come Pelosi’s recalcitrance

I owe my voters an apology. During the 2016 Brexit referendum, several "leave" supporters resignedly told me that, if our side won, the "remain" side would ignore us. At the time, I dismissed it as conspiracy-minded nonsense. There’s no way that a referendum can be disregarded, I told people. I get why you’re angry: You’ve been patronized and taken for granted and slighted. But this time, I’d say, it’s different. This time it’s a full-scale national referendum. A combination of Democratic obstructionism and Jeff Flake flakiness has conspired to create a backlog of federal judicial nominees awaiting a vote in the Senate. Flake, it will be recalled, decided to bottle up all judicial nominees in committee towards the end of 2018 because Majority Leader McConnell wouldn’t allow a vote on legislation to “protect” Robert Mueller. Mueller needs no protection. He’s not going to be fired, as the recent hearings on William Barr’s nomination confirmed. In any event, the Senate lacks the power to protect him from discharge. It was no coincidence that Donald Trump scheduled a trip to Britain to promote one of his golf courses in Scotland, on June 23, 2016. That was the day of the Brexit referendum in which 52 percent of the electorate --17.4 million voters, more than any party has ever won in a general election -- voted for the UK to leave the European Union. Candidate Trump´s earlier endorsement of Brexit was criticized by elevated opinion as an unfriendly interference in another nation´s internal affairs, although few, if any, had similarly criticized then-President Barack Obama for having urged Britons to vote "remain"

Country music is the most American of musical idioms, alongside jazz. Nowadays, I’ve shaken that youthful pretension and will admit to enjoying most types of country’s many subgenres. I also have to admit that compiling a list

President Trump outlined a plan to end the government shutdown in a Saturday afternoon address, offering three years of legislative relief for 700,000 DACA recipients — including protection from deportation —and Temporary Protective Status awardees. He also offered $800 million in urgent humanitarian assistance, 75 new immigration teams to reduce the court backlog of 900,000 cases, which he called an ´impossible nightmare,´ in remarks from the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House. In exchange, he said he wants $5.7 billion for the ´strategic deployment of physical barriers, or a wall,´ that he will use to put ´steel barriers in

Should you believe in a God? All the discord and vitriol in our culture boils down to how you would answer. Border walls, gay marriage, abortion, national defense, school choice -- where you stand on these issues and the myriad others comprising our daily tussle is for the most part defined by how you answer this question. Critics are pushing back against the portrayal of students from Covington Catholic High School as racist, after a confrontation between the school and a Native American counter-demonstrator at the March for Life on Friday. The headline from the Associated Press at the Hollywood Reporter — repeated in some form by outlets across the country — read: “Students in ‘Make America Great Again’ Hats Mock Native Americans After Washington Rally.” (Snip) Video posted by a group of left-wing activists present showed that the students had been taunted with racial slurs as the incident took place.
