Saudi Arabia acknowledged late Friday that journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, and claimed that he died in a fist fight. In a statement on Saudi state television, the government said 18 Saudi citizens have been detained pending the outcome of an investigation into the death of Mr. Khashoggi, a prominent government critic and legal U.S. resident. “Discussions between citizen Jamal Khashoggi and those who met him while he was in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul led to a brawl and a fist fight, which led to his death,” the statement said. “The investigations

Eighteen counts of simple assault will do. Maybe a manslaughter charge or two. One down in a car accident. That will quiet the mob for their deceased "Man of Mystery"...

I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I do know a "tall tale" when I hear one.

A flat out, naked LIE.

I don´t care that he was killed for some reason, just don´t take me for a fool who´ll believe anything.
The 18 they "have in connection" most likely are the real killers, these are some schlubs that have been designated as the "bad guys" and to keep ´em quiet they´ll be beheaded

Saudis are liars. They keep changing their story.
Turks are liars too, because clearly they bugged the embassy, so it will be revealed that it was a torture session ending in murder.
We will never know how high the plot or the cover up goes in the Saudi government.
Khashoggi was not a good guy or a journalist or an American citizen, but every murder victim deserves a proper funeral.
It is a mystery why he would go in there, just to be legally married. He should have just lived with the woman.

Am I the only one who begins thinking of a Monte Python skits when I read this Muslim freak´s excuse as to how this one, pot bellied, middle aged man walked into a consulate, met 18 thugs equipped with a bone saw and got dismembered in a brawl he started with them?

Why it reminds me of the "Dead Parrot" sketch, I do not know.
