Turks tell U.S. officials they have audio

The Turkish government has told U.S. officials that it has audio and video recordings that prove Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi was killed inside the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul this month, according to U.S. and Turkish officials. The recordings show that a Saudi security team detained Khashoggi in the consulate after he walked in Oct. 2 to obtain an official document before his upcoming wedding, then killed him and dismembered his body, the officials said. The audio recording in particular provides some of the most persuasive and gruesome evidence that the Saudi team is responsible for Khashoggi’s death,

Khashoggi it seems, walked "drugged" into a Saudi "Hotel California" in Turkey. Except, he was able to leave in a barbaric way.

Yeh, yeah, yeah. Present your evidence, then go pay homage to the Saudi money and then just shut the Hell up about it as usual. Kinda like 9/11 but not as many bodies and so much rubble.

Proof that cash rules everything. I really do not know why the Saudies decided to hide the torture, murder and dismemberment. The world would still do nothing about it even if they had broadcast it on live TV! These brutal desert savages should have been eradicated back in 1918.

I trust Turkey at this point less than zero.

Turkey is being run by a meglomaniacal Islamist. His last big fake was the phony coupe which he used as an excuse to clean out the patriotic military leaders.

May be true, but I seriously doubt the source.

The outlook for a second Washington-Pyongyang summit is dimming amid an escalation of diplomatic XXX-for-tat, after the U.S. imposed sanctions on three ranking North Korean officials Monday. The U.S. Treasury Department cited "serious human rights abuse and censorship" as reasons for the sanctions on the North´s de facto No. 2 figure, Choe Ryong-hae. The two others are State Security Minister Jong Kyong-thaek and Pak Kwang-ho, director of the Workers´ Party´s propaganda department. The decision drew a strong backlash from the North, as this is the first time the U.S. has imposed human rights sanctions against

A letter discovered late Monday in a building at Cal State Northridge that threatens a mass shooting this week has prompted police to boost patrols on campus. A student found the letter, written in red ink on lined notebook paper, folded up on the floor of a classroom. The student called campus police about 11:44 p.m. after he read it, said Cal State Northridge Police Chief Anne Glavin. The letter is laced with profanity and warns of a shooting on the campus on Wednesday. The letter also threatens that students from Northridge Academy High School will carry out a similar attack on their campus. “The teachers and proffessors

The leak, which was quickly plugged with only a small pressure loss, was found in the area where a Russian Soyuz craft attached to the side of the ISS. Regularly doing puzzles like Sudoku will not protect the mind from dementia, researchers have found. The idea of “use it or lose it” and doing problem-solving activities such as crosswords has been widely accepted as a way of protecting brains from cognitive decline in later life. However, researchers have found that while doing this throughout life could boost mental ability and give a person a “higher starting point” from which to decline, it would not necessarily help prevent age-related mental decline or dementia. (Snip) No studies have so far shown that brain training prevents dementia.

That began years ago, maybe starting with Yahoo’s deletion of Geocities in 2009. (Yahoo also bought Tumblr in 2013 — are you sensing a pattern?)
