Turks tell U.S. officials they have audio

The Turkish government has told U.S. officials that it has audio and video recordings that prove Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi was killed inside the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul this month, according to U.S. and Turkish officials. The recordings show that a Saudi security team detained Khashoggi in the consulate after he walked in Oct. 2 to obtain an official document before his upcoming wedding, then killed him and dismembered his body, the officials said. The audio recording in particular provides some of the most persuasive and gruesome evidence that the Saudi team is responsible for Khashoggi’s death,

Khashoggi it seems, walked "drugged" into a Saudi "Hotel California" in Turkey. Except, he was able to leave in a barbaric way.

Yeh, yeah, yeah. Present your evidence, then go pay homage to the Saudi money and then just shut the Hell up about it as usual. Kinda like 9/11 but not as many bodies and so much rubble.

Proof that cash rules everything. I really do not know why the Saudies decided to hide the torture, murder and dismemberment. The world would still do nothing about it even if they had broadcast it on live TV! These brutal desert savages should have been eradicated back in 1918.

I trust Turkey at this point less than zero.

Turkey is being run by a meglomaniacal Islamist. His last big fake was the phony coupe which he used as an excuse to clean out the patriotic military leaders.

May be true, but I seriously doubt the source.

In recent weeks, a grand jury in Washington has listened to more than a dozen hours of testimony and FBI technicians have pored over gigabytes of electronic messages as part of the special counsel’s quest to solve one burning mystery: Did longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone — or any other associate of the president — have advance knowledge of WikiLeaks’ plans to release hacked Democratic emails in 2016? While outwardly quiet for the last month, Robert S. Mueller III’s investigators have been aggressively pursuing leads behind the scenes about whether Stone was in communication with the online group, whose

Tower blocks across the UK, home to an estimated 100,000 people, have a systemic structural flaw that puts them at risk of collapse, housing experts have told The Independent. In the wake of the Grenfell disaster, safety problems have come to light at towers built using the Large Panel System (LPS) method during the 1960s and 1970s, which house more than 41,000 flats in cities up and down the country. The flawed construction method has left cracks in some flats wide enough to allow residents to slide their hands in between the walls. It also leaves them at risk of complete collapse in the event of a fire or gas explosion –

Lawmakers: Saudi Arabia’s narrative

Republican and Democratic lawmakers on Friday dismissed the Saudi narrative of what happened to journalist Jamal Khashoggi after he entered the kingdom’s consulate in Istanbul more than two weeks ago, even as President Trump called the admission of Khashoggi’s death “a great first step.” The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs blamed the death of the Washington Post columnist on a fight between Khashoggi and unidentified men inside the Saudi consulate. The Saudis had insisted for days that Khashoggi had left the consulate unharmed on Oct. 2. “This story doesn’t hold water,” Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., tweeted.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is flatly denying an ABC News report that said he listened to, and read the transcript of, audio of columnist Jamal Khashoggi being murdered in the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul. ABC quoted a “senior Turkish official” for the bombshell story that indirectly confirms that such a tape exists and that a Saudi hit squad killed Mr. Khashoggi. The Turks have leaked a number of sensational allegations to the U.S. press about how the missing Islamic activist met his demise. Tecun Uman, Guatemala - Central Americans traveling in a mass caravan broke through a Guatemalan border fence and streamed by the thousands toward Mexican territory Friday, defying Mexican authorities´ entreaties for an orderly migration and U.S. President Donald Trump´s threats of retaliation. Arriving on the Mexican side of a border bridge, they were met by a phalanx of police with riot shields. About 50 managed to push their way through before officers unleashed pepper spray and the rest retreated. The gates were closed again, and a federal police officer used a loudspeaker to address the masses, saying, "We need you to stop the aggression."
