Justice Kavanaugh unlikely

Justice Brett Kavanaugh is unlikely to heed calls by critics to step aside from certain politically charged U.S. Supreme Court cases in which his fairness and independence might be questioned after a divisive confirmation fight, according to legal experts. U.S. law requires justices to step aside when there is a conflict of interest or genuine question of bias, but it leaves the recusal decision in the hands of the individual justices. Kavanaugh, Republican President Donald Trump´s conservative nominee who was confirmed by the Senate on Saturday to a lifetime job as one of the nine justices, took part in

No way is Kavanaugh going to recuse unless from a case directly affecting something from the Bush White House where he worked.

Beyond that possibility, not a chance.

liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg criticized then-candidate Trump as a "faker," prompting cries by conservative critics of bias.

Do not let your Trump hating friends forget this.

It was Trump´s tweets alone that judges have used to justify overturning his immigration ban.

What are we going to see tomorrow? "Justice Kavanaugh unlikely to heed calls to self immolate."

The article cites "highly political" issues. Who would be better to address such issues than someone who has been in the judicial branch on lifetime appointment, all but barred from political participation by ethical rules, for 12 years?

See how that works? The Democrats pull all kinds of heinous crap on this good man. They play dirty, make his life Hell, Threaten his family, and produce all manner of lies against him. Accuseing him of some of the most vile crap humans can imagine. And now he is in a high position of pwoer from which he could utterly destroy the things they cheris. Now, suddenly, the evil Democrats insist on fari treatment and that he should not rule on anything they want to accomplish in the future.

They fear what they have done. Their conscience is suffering- their fear factor is shining back on them- reflecting the things they, themselves would do unto others were the situation reversed.

I am not a forgiving person- not at all. You do the crime, you do the time. IO imagine Justice Kavanaugh is a far better man than I am and will play a fair and just deal with the issues before him. I could not. I would be so eager for anything I think the Rats might like and then i would do all in my power to crush it mercilessly.

God bless people of better mind and spirit than mine. But, I admire the fire swathed sword bearing Avenging Angel Michael and the far more subtle nature of the fierce Saint Francis- Wrath is not always the answer to such cruelty as the filthy Rats exhibited. But, some times in human history, such answers fit the circumstance.

Justice Kavanaugh said he will judge cases independently based on the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and legal precedent, that is good enough for me.

When dems win, we are told "Elections have consequences" and they shoved BO care down our throats. The problem is, many wimpy Republicans do surrender after victory!

Kavanaugh swore to uphold the law. If he does as he promised, there would be no reason to recuse himself.

WASHINGTON — The 2020 Democratic presidential primary, already expected to be the party’s most wide open in decades, has been jostled on the eve of many long-plotted campaign announcements by a political threat that few contenders bothered considering until recently: Will a soon-to-be-former congressman, with an unremarkable legislative record and a Senate campaign loss, upend their best-laid plans?
