The editors of the Wall Street Journal urge Senate Republicans to keep Democrats in Washington, D.C. until every pending Trump administration nominee is confirmed. They have a point. Democrats have succeeded to a shocking (and unprecedented) degree in preventing the president from staffing his administration with the well-qualified personnel of his choice. Eric Dreiband and Jeff Clark are perhaps the two best examples of this pattern of obstruction but, at the same time, are the tip of the iceberg. As the WSJ editors state: "Democrats file cloture on every nominee, which kicks off 30 hours of debate even

And if they want to spend their 30 hours, make them spend it on the floor talking. A lot of time, that 30 hours is just clock ticking time while Democrat Senators hob-knob with their monied friends and lobbyists in fine Washington DC eating and drinking establishments where they are kept far from the riff-raff and Republican deplorables.

I could use whatever McConnell is using to grow a backbone to cure a few crushed discs. Keep those vulnerable liberal senators in Washington and off the campaign trail while their conservative opponents clean up at home.

I love to see Schumer, eyeglasses sliding down his nose, wailing and complaining about how unfair it all is.

It´s in the Rules, dude. In the Rules.

President Trump was elected to that office by the American citizens who heartily approve of his policies! He keeps his promises the America. His accomplishments and appointment choices while in that office are exactly what he was elected to do in order to get America´s ship of state back onto its Constitutional course and away from the dem pols´ miserably failed socialist policies of the past few decades!!!

We are thankful for the wisdom of America´s Founders in their establishment of this country´s 3 Branches of Government and hope those serving in each one will return to faithfully following it´s defined duties & boundaries for each of the three. Pres. Trump is fulfilling his oath of office, but the dem pols inside the deep state seem to have become as stumbling blocks to EVERYTHING the President does, as they continually ignore their Constitutionally defined Congressional boundaries and attempt to dictate.
dem pols have no shame

Even though it’s still young, the transgender movement has occasioned many bizarre and horrific stories. But even in that company, the saga of Jamie Shupe stands out. Born in 1963, Shupe has been married to his wife, Sandy, for three decades; they have a daughter. He spent eighteen years (1982-2000) in the U.S. Army. In 2013 he began identifying as a transgender woman, claiming that he had struggled for years with a deep sense of being different and had been harassed in the military because he was perceived as gay. Following Brit Hume on Twitter, I learned last week that Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr had let on that the committee had found nothing to suggest collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign (tweet below, linking to this CBS News story). Now comes Ken Dilanian’s NBC News story “Senate has uncovered no direct evidence of conspiracy between Trump campaign and Russia.” Dilanian labors mightily to keep hope (in “collusion”) alive. He seeks to downplay the significance of Burr’s revelation. The investigation continues. Committee Democrats are troubled, However, Dilanian quotes Burr: “There is no factual evidence of collusion between the

Panera Bread has shuttered the last of its ideologically driven "pay what you want" restaurants. The socialist-tinged ventures were called "Panera Cares" and the higher-ups have finally figured out that "caring" is not synonymous with "viable business model." The website Eater gives Panera Cares´ history and provides the company´s motivation behind the now-defunct mission: (Snip) Food insecurity? With plenty of sunlight and no drama, Phil Mickelson finished off a 7-under 65 to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Monday and match the tournament record with his fifth victory. Mickelson had a three-shot lead over Paul Casey with two holes to play when it was too dark to finish Sunday night — no matter how hard Mickelson lobbied to keep going — because of delays for rain and a hail storm. Casey’s only hope was for Mickelson to make a mistake on the closing holes, and there was little chance of that. Mickelson was at his best on a

Critics attacked the fact Scientology can hire off-duty officers for security like any other local church when it is the only one with a documented policy for destroying enemies’ lives. With speculation rampant over whether the Trump administration is going to invade Venezuela it is useful to review the American experience in Iraq. Now that both the House and Senate have cleared Donald Trump of Democrat-inspired allegations of Russian collusion, it is worth revisiting one anecdote that escaped significant attention during the hysteria but continues to have U.S. security implications. The GOP Majority Leader in the Senate persuaded President Donald Trump to not veto the GOP’s flawed border security bill by promising to back a national emergency construction of border walls, according to insider leaks to the establishment media. The Washington Post reported that “Trump had been leaning against supporting the congressional spending bill but relented after several conversations with [Majority Leader Sen. The two hottest commodities in the Democratic Party are Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Earlier this week, Omar exhibited stunning ignorance in her hostile questioning of Elliott Adams Abrams. Similarly, Ocasio-Cortez has often displayed a surprising lack of knowledge for someone who apparently is a college graduate.
