Trump, Declassification, and Leverage
American Thinker, by Mark Wauck

Original Article

There´s a reason why President Trump has not unilaterally declassified the documents exposing perfidy against him: leverage. (snip) Rosenstein is the key because he created the special counsel part of the hoax and because – as a result of A.G. Sessions´s recusal – he remains in charge of the special counsel operation. Rosenstein can exercise as much or as little control over Mueller as he wants. Trump´s threat of declassification of the "origination material" gives Trump complete leverage over Rosenstein and therefore over Mueller. Trump´s leverage ensures that Rosenstein will very much want to restrain Mueller.

Yes, that´s exactly why Trump is keeping Rosenstein around. Leverage. But I believe it´s a big mistake. That viper´s nest needs to get totally cleaned out. Until it is cleaned out, the remaining bands of resistance collaborators can still do a lot of damage. And I shudder to think what they might do if the Democrats ever retake the White House. These people are seething with revenge and looking for an opportunity to strike back.

Leverage over Rosenstein? What, is Weasel Rod acting President as well as acting AG? Or, does President Trump think that Rosenstein and Mueller are the majority shareholders of fhe federal government, so he has to please them at the expense of the small investors, meaning us?

Why the biggest political scandal in the US, a scandal that was meant to be a coup against Trump, hasn’t led to a single indictment of any of the plotters is beyond belief. Last week, the Trump team took credit for reducing the federal work force by 15,000. Might as well lay off the 36,000 FBI employees and the 125,000 DoJ employees for what has been accomplished in prosecuting this Obama/Hillary directed scandal.

Trump already knows that the midterms are in the bag for the Pubbies. That the Blue Wave is as big a hoax as Gullible Warming.

So he´s biding his time until the post-election. And when he drops the hammer - - it won´t be a Stanley fiberglass one - - it will be a monstrous pile-driver - - which will crush everyone from 0bama and The Beast to all the lackeys and toadies down the line.

I am sick of this leverage argument. I do not want leverage, I want justice, and I want government employees to turn over documents about their work that the public is entitled to see, without smudge outs. The leverage argument is nothing but another step in the never ending cover up. I have had enough of there will be bombshell revelations next month. With the 2018 midterm elections only weeks away, many think this is the most important election of recent times. Much is riding on the Republicans maintaining control of Congress. If the Democrats win the House, all current investigations into the Deep State will cease, replaced by every single Congressional committee opening an investigation into Trump and his administration. Subpoenas for documents and endless testimony will paralyze the Trump administration.

Unless sobriety suddenly and miraculously returns to Democrats driven insane by their unexpected loss to Donald Trump, the United States is headed for a downward spiral of political violence of the sort that has destabilized democratic regimes (Weimar Germany and Taisho Japan) and led to fascism and world war. Only by the Grace of God and the bravery of the Capitol Police was a mass assassination of the House Republican Caucus avoided. The fact that Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyers refused to release the results of her polygraph exam until the day before her testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee last month caused some suspicion. And when we finally got a look at them, a lot of Judge Kavanaugh’s supporters were confirmed in their suspicions. It turned out that Ford’s examiner, former FBI agent Jeremiah Hanafin, only asked her two relevant questions. And that’s not how most folks imagine polygraph exams are supposed to go.
