Kavanaugh boomerang #1:
Fanatical Dems finally have
unified the GOP behind Trump

American Thinker, by Thomas Lifson

Original Article

Posted By:magnante, 10/6/2018 8:43:10 AM

The Democrats have not merely overplayed their hand in opposing the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, they have provoked a reaction that has serious consequences for the power struggle ahead. Most of them do not understand yet the gravity of their error because they still operate out of a rage that has its origin in the belief that Donald Trump’s presidential victory was somehow illegitimate, despite the lack of any evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia (snip) That unfounded sense of illegitimacy is their security blanket, enabling them to contain their despair over losing their grasp on power

"Hoist by their own petard."
I wondered what this meant while I was in high school. It means that your bomb blew up in your hands.
Sen Schumer promised the U S that Judge Kavanaugh would NOT be confirmed. He promised to do everything in his power to stop the confirmation. He kept his word.
He did, in fact, do everything in his power. Scurrilous accusations, groundless grandstanding, the politics of personal destruction, dragging the name of a good man through the mud--typical Alinsky behavior.
And he almost got away with it.
Another saying: "a bridge too far."
The November elections will be an Armageddon for the left. Safe seats are now up for grabs. Palin has promised to go after Murkowski in 2022. Manchin turned his coat.
Kamala Harris: her face could curdle milk. Booker: time for a crucifixion, Spartacus. Danang Dick: let´s hear it again about your getting off the plane from the Vietnam theater. Mazie Hirono: how about shutting up? I do not refer to these individuals as Senators. They do not live up to the standard which should govern members of the United States Senate, the world´s greatest deliberative body. ChiFi: how can you possibly pay a Chinese spy for 20 years to spy on yourself?
There is not a scintilla of honor or decency to be found in the 10 Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee. They are a disgrace.

Delusion has its benefits.
They continue to push a hopeless cause, and in doing so they actually do long-term damage by running off their moderate voters.

Murkowski said something about granting tribal status for ´native´ hawaiians.
There were no native hawaiians. There were polynesians who landed on the leper colony by mistake. Granting them tribal status, and excluding everyone else from voting on those offices, was wrong.

In the last 2 weeks I and my spouse have both found ourselves awake at 3am interceding for Judge Kavanaugh and his family in prayer and against the wickedness of his enemies and accusers. I can´t help but believe that this scene was replicated in millions of homes across America. For we wrestle not against flash and blood but against wickedness in high places.

Next to the biased fake media the biggest asset of the Democrats was the fecklessness and political cowardice of the Republican leadership. Uniting them with PDT for a singular purpose has blown that. Get ready to reap the whirlwind!

I’m looking forward to some surviving democrat senator gazing around at the carnage and shrunken decimation of his party after the mid-terms. Then when Chuck Schumer stands up for one of his absurd-a-thon speeches, the democrat senator loudly bellows, “Just shut up, Chuck! You’ve done enough damage. Sit down and shut up!”

#5... Murkowski has left herself a huge out.. she´s not voting so that the GOP Senator can go off to his daughter´s weddin´ without fear of costing the approval of Kavanaugh to the SC. Her vote will be "present".... and that´s all the record will show. The record won´t show that she did it as a "favor" to her GOP colleague.

In the normal course of events, one could understand the hundreds of “I don’t knows” and “I don’t recalls” former FBI Director James Comey during Friday’s testimony. Most FBI investigations are handled out of the field office in which the illegality allegedly occurred with the FBI Director not privy to all the details. But it was Comey who decided to run the whole Trump collusion and obstruction investigation out of FBI headquarters. Once again, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is demonstrating her shaky understanding of the job she was elected to do in what she called one of the “three chambers of government.” Yesterday, she was obviously ticked off when Donald Trump, Jr sent out a meme (snip) [tweet] I have noticed that Junior here has a habit of posting nonsense about me whenever the Mueller investigation heats up. Newly minted Dem congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez once more validated Mark Twain’s (Puddin’head Wilson) quip, “Suppose you were an idiot, and suppose you were a member of Congress; but I repeat myself.” Numerous reports have accompanied O-C’s tweet whereby she will pay her interns $15 an hour. After weeks of talking with Special Counsel Robert Mueller about Donald Trump´s supposed collusion with Russia, Dr. Jerome Corsi instead filed his own criminal complaint through attorney and former federal prosecutor Larry Klayman on December 3, 2018. We should remember that Klayman already got the prosecution of Cliven Bundy´s family and associates thrown out for similar prosecutorial misconduct, working in support of the Bundys´ excellent Nevada lawyers as legal strategist. Misconduct by the once-great Department of Justice is all too common. The unethical prosecution of former Alaska Senator Ted Stevens stole a U.S. Senate election from the Republicans in 2008

The nation’s farewell to its forty-first president continues with yet another day of ceremonial spectacle, following the state funeral and a national day of mourning that saw the stock exchanges and Postal Service shutting down. The entire process has been incredibly well thought-through featuring impressive visual production values reinforcing the message that we are saying farewell to a giant among presidents. Bush’s mortal remains to his final resting place at his presidential library at Texas A&M University in College Station.

In contrast to the politeness of everyone else, Hillary Clinton refused to acknowledge the arrival and greeting of President and Mrs. Trump as they joined the other presidents sitting in the front row of the George H.W. Bush funeral at the National Cathedral. President Trump leaned over his wife to shake hands with President and Mrs. Obama, who graciously reciprocated. Bill Clinton, sitting on the other side of Michelle Obama, did not reach out to shake hands, but at least looked in the direction of President Trump. But not Hillary Clinton.

So far, half of the events scheduled for the stadium tour of Bill and Hillary Clinton have been cancelled. (snip) The Sugarland gig last night was canceled, but has been face-savingly described as, “postponed… in order to attend funeral services for former President George H.W. Bush.” I call BS. This claim doesn’t withstand minimal scrutiny. The state funeral honoring the forty-first president is taking place today, and it takes less than 3 hours to fly from Houston to Washington, DC.

Back on October 19, 2017, I raised the question of just how much Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Deputy A.G. Rod Rosenstein actually knew about Hillary Clinton and Uranium One, since it had been reported that the FBI was aware before the deal was approved in 2010 that Russia was engaging in criminal activity to penetrate our nuclear industry and gain access to chunks of our uranium reserves. For those of us who try to follow developments in the Russia Hoax, it´s easy to get bogged down in the details and lose sight of the big picture: what I call the "theory of the case." (snip) We´ve all heard the criticism of Rosenstein´s authorization memo: it fails to cite a criminal violation, and so the appointment of Mueller as Special Counsel is illegitimate because the regulations governing the appointment of a Special Counsel require that a criminal violation be stated. There is big news ahead, and President Trump teased it yesterday from Argentina via Twitter. Politics has become a game of narratives, something well understood by both President Trump and his enemies in the media-Democrat establishment. For more than two years, the professionals of the cultural and media establishment have worked assiduously to create an objectively false narrative, with no evidence whatsoever, that Vladimir Putin actually changed the count of votes to hand Trump the presidency, making his victory illegitimate. Most Democrats actually believe this now, and have in earlier polls as well.

His Irish-only bill was quietly pushed through the House on November 28 without a recorded vote by legislators.
