Kavanaugh: I was a virgin through
high school and college

The Hill, by Emily Birnbaum

Original Article

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Monday defended himself against the sexual assault allegations roiling his nomination by saying he was a virgin through high school and college. "We’re talking about an allegation of sexual assault," Kavanaugh said in a clip released from his interview on Fox News Channel´s "The Story with Martha MacCallum." "I’ve never sexually assaulted anyone," Kavanaugh said. "I did not have sexual intercourse or anything close to sexual intercourse in high school or for many years thereafter ... The girls from the schools I went to, and I, were friends."

Not that unusual for students in Catholic schools.

The two of them looked very credible. Ford does not want to agree to a public hearing, because Americans will be able to read her like a book.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the new world brought to you by the Democrat Party. We now know the sexual history of a Supreme Court nominee. The last thing I wanted to know today is the first time Judge Kavanaugh got lucky.

I would have bet with pretty high confidence that anyone who still has calendars from their their high school years probably wasn´t the biggest ladies man.

Someone needs to tell the Hawaiin Harpee to clam up and vote NO like she was going to from minute one and lets get the show on the road.

Rant over. Everyone have a wonderful day!

Wasn´t there a rock song from the 1970s, with a line about ´getting head behind the CYO?´

I also remember Clarence Thomas (speaking with the voice of God, as Judge Andrew Napolitano described Thomas) telling the Senate members - could have been Dead Ted Kennedy or Old Joe Biden - Senator, you are not going to go into my bedroom. (The democrats wanted to know his video rental history.)

What Kavanaugh said last night is consistent with everything we know about him.

We simply cannot have this. Sexual impurity is mandatory for elected officials. During Pres Clinton´s troubles, we were told that private activities did not matter. Those activities were no reflection on character. Besides, he did not have sex with that woman.
The stain on the Blue Dress was irrelevant.
Besides, the Roman Catholic Church calls for sex only within marriage. We can´t have that either.
But the Biblical requirement for two or three witnesses must also be defeated, as it is another religious test.
#MeToo has suffered a major hit.

2. This is none of our business.

3. I hate Democrat political leaders and their politics of personal destruction.

4. Ms. Ford, who I initially believed had had something bad happen to her, is either a neurotic nutcase political activist or a lying b$%#^ political activist who is doing this to destroy a conservative nominee to the SCOTUS.

Do we need to hear this? Yes, we do, and you can thank the Democrats for this. They have brought this to us. They are entirely responsible and Judge Kavanaugh is now compelled to speak in the strongest and most intimate terms in order to defend himself from such vile slander. I suggest that we need to pray ernestly for the Judge and his family, and this nation, that rightousness will prevail over, as a pastor put it, the belchings of the devil.

He will be roundly mocked for saying this. Many of us here have gone through the same treatment for upholding the Biblical standards for moral and sexual behavior.

Feminism crumbles when we admit that women actually are capable of taking care of ourselves in most instances, that we can prevent unwanted pregnancies simply by not engaging in baby-making activities until we are in a relationship that can support us (baby and mother).

There was a time when this worldview created a civilized nation. Now we have Clinton, Cosby, Lauer, Rose, Keillor, et. etc.

This is a major revelation. It´s not unusual in the late sixties and early seventies to have virgins in private religious colleges. Of course, it is human nature to project one´s own sins onto others. Since there are likely no democrats who were virgins, they will not believe Kavanaugh could be one. I congratulate him for declaring his abstinence and look forward to how the demos can continue to carry that ball they picked up early on in the confirmations.

Irrelevant , not helpful, counterproductive, huge blunder. Many sexual predators are incapable of normal "courting behavior". Kavanaugh´s naive exposition opens up accusations of raging hormones & frustration + alcohol = out-of-control.

Disagree, #19. I think this was a very effective statement in his defense. Being sexually inactive through high school and even college is not a sign of some mental disorder or of repressed "raging hormones." And the left is so hypocritical. They would mock someone for not having sex as a teenager while at the same time trying to excoriate someone for having sex as a teenager!

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch filed a bar complaint against Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyers on Friday. Judicial Watch argued Christine Ford’s lawyers, Debra Katz and Michael Bromwich neglected to inform their client she could have been interviewed about the sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh in the privacy of her own home in California rather than a public hearing in D.C. Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) offered to arrange interviewers to travel to California to give Ford the privacy she wanted, yet her lawyers never informed her of the option. On 11 October 2017 an anonymous Google spreadsheet began doing the rounds of American newspapers and magazines — a document that would have far-reaching consequences for Stephen Elliott, a Los Angeles-based writer and editor. Called ‘Shitty Media Men’, the spreadsheet had been created by Moira Donegan, a former assistant editor at the New Republic, and named various men rumoured to be guilty of sexual misconduct. Donegan closed it down a few days later, but by that time it had been widely circulated and many names had been added, alongside a summary of their alleged crimes.

In his opening statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 26, Brett Kavanaugh argued that the allegations of sexual misconduct raised against him were part of an orchestrated attempt to block his nomination by congressional Democrats and their allies. We likely haven’t seen anything to match the phony indignation coming from Democrats in response to that charge since the famous scene in “Casablanca,” when Claude Rains expresses astonishment to find gambling in an illicit casino his character regularly patronizes. U.S. Senator Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) had her Rains moment, laughably describing Kavanaugh’s testimony as “shocking.”

The fact that Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyers refused to release the results of her polygraph exam until the day before her testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee last month caused some suspicion. And when we finally got a look at them, a lot of Judge Kavanaugh’s supporters were confirmed in their suspicions. It turned out that Ford’s examiner, former FBI agent Jeremiah Hanafin, only asked her two relevant questions. And that’s not how most folks imagine polygraph exams are supposed to go.
