Molinaro says he’ll cut ‘nation-leading’
property taxes if elected as governor

New York Post, by Carl Campanile

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 9/24/2018 6:13:22 PM

Republican Marc Molinaro says he’ll move to slash property taxes by nearly 30 percent if he’s elected governor in November. “The Empire State Freedom Plan will finally liberate property taxpayers, small businesses owners, farmers and families from the dream-crushing tax burden they are forced to live under with Andrew Cuomo,” Molinaro said during a speech to the New York State Business Council at Bolton Landing in the Adirondacks. “These nation-leading taxes aren’t only oppressive, they are foolishly counterproductive.”

He´s not that far behind the crooked Cuomo

RIO DE JANEIRO — Ten women in Brazil have accused a self-styled spiritual healer of sexually abusing them at a clinic in the central-western state of Goias. The accusations against Joao Teixeira de Faria, known as John of God, were made Saturday night on the Globo TV network. It was not immediately clear if Farias was being investigated by prosecutors. In a statement to the G1 news portal, Faria’s press office said: “John of God vehemently denies having committed any inappropriate behavior during his treatments.”

New filings by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III on Friday provided fresh clues about where the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election is headed. Mueller’s filing said President Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, was contacted in 2015 by a “Russian national” seeking “synergy” between Trump’s campaign and the Russian government. The special counsel’s team also said Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, lied about meeting with Konstantin Kilimnik, whom the U.S. government has linked to Russian intelligence

Five minutes later he returned to find 38-year-old Ream lying on the ground. She was blue and not breathing. Dakota immediately began CPR and yelled to their 11-year-old to call 911. Ream was rushed unconscious to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls and doctors determined her brain had been without oxygen for more than 20 minutes.

Does the revolt of the Yellow Jackets in France vindicate President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord? It’s certainly looks that way following the retreat by President Macron from the plan to boost taxes on fuel because of global warming. Mr. Trump’s complaint, after all, was about the cost to Americans of the accord. Turns out the French don’t want to pay for it, either.

When news broke that Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about his 2016 meetings concerning the failed Trump Tower Moscow project, the chattering class instantly began talking about the failed Trump Tower Moscow project. Of course that was news. But it turns out the Cohen plea agreement also made news in what it did not cover. Specifically, it spoke volumes -- without saying a word -- about a key allegation of the Trump dossier, the charge that Cohen traveled to Prague to arrange secret payments to Russian hackers attacking the Clinton campaign.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren has the core of her 2020 team in place if she runs for president. She has the seed money — there’s $12.5 million ready to go, left from her recent Senate run — and a massive email list she’s amassed over years, boosted by a $3.3 million investment in digital infrastructure and advertising in the last election alone. Her aides have been quietly shopping for presidential campaign headquarters space in the Boston area in recent weeks, according to a source with knowledge of the move. All that’s left is for her to give the green light.
