The Hurricane Florence
looting has begun

New York Post, by Natalie O´Neill

Looters raided shops, homes and cars as Hurricane Florence slammed into North Carolina, according to a report Friday. At least four crooks were busted near Wilmington, where the powerful storm forced residents to evacuate — creating a looter paradise of empty buildings, local cops told WWAY News. “Naturally, you’ll have individuals that will try to look for opportunities to prey upon people when they are at their most vulnerable,” Brunswick County Sheriff John Ingram told the outlet. “In this situation, we’ve had a lot of people that have evacuated their homes and businesses …

Let´s see, there are several options during a hurricane. Lock up and evacuate. volunteer to assist in rescues, check on your elderly or single mom neighbors, stay at home and guard your property, or go rip off someone already hurting - choices - only one bad one. Hero or cad. Hope the judge is swift and severe.

Well likely these perps pay no taxes as well, while those who were looted, do. The last question: "Are any looters illegals?"

The "Hurricane of ´38" which struck New England full force, wiped out Watch Hill RI, among other coastal communities and cause tremendous damage all the way to Framingham, Massachusetts.

Water in downtown Providence rose to the second story in areas.

Of course, looting began.

The authorities put out word that looters would be shot.

Some looters decided to disregard the warnings.

A couple of dead looters later, and looting stopped.

The authorities did the right thing. Looters are dastardly and despicable. That´s the behavior of barbarians and vandals.

There used to be a cable show called Bait Car, where the police rigged a car with cameras and remote control. It was placed in high crime areas.
Youngsters, mostly minority, were quick to steal the car, left running, keys in the ignition. And when the police turned off the ignition using the remote control, the lads concocted wonderful, quickly created stories about why they were in the car.
I concluded that some lads have no impulse control.

An elevator in a Chicago skyscraper plummeted 84 floors with six terrified passengers inside — and it took three hours to rescue the victims, who were trapped with no food or water. The riders — who included a pregnant woman, Northwestern law students, and tourists from Mexico — had hopped in the elevator after dining at the famed Signature Room in the John Hancock Center at 12:30 a.m. Friday, when hell broke loose. “At the beginning, I believed we were going to die,” Jamie Montemayor, who was visiting Chicago from Mexico City, told CBS.

It’s nowhere near as bad as 2000, but the mess in Florida’s Broward County is at the very least a cautionary tale about massive mail-in and early voting, with events in Arizona adding to the fire. As a series of tweets by Sen. Marco Rubio flagged on Thursday, Broward Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes was refusing to report the number of ballots still to be counted, or even to provide regular progress reports. A judge late Friday ruled that she’s in violation of the state public records act. In the past, courts slapped Snipes for illegally destroying ballots in the

Lakeisha Williams, of Broward County, said she discovered the ballot box two days after Election Day at Miramar Elementary School — where it was apparently left behind by election workers. “I went into the area that we use for storage and saw it in there,” Williams told The Post. Williams said she did not touch or look inside the box. Instead, she told the school’s principal and they decided to contact a local state representative.

Hundreds of thousands of poor people across the country are set to be covered for the first time under government-funded Medicaid after Tuesday’s election results. Voters in Utah, Nebraska, and Idaho approved ballot measures to opt for expansion under Obamacare, which will allow people making less than $17,000 to receive coverage the government pays for.

It’s only because smaller red states have two senators just like larger blue states that the judge got confirmed.
