Hurricane Florence – Another Thing
Not Caused by Climate Change…

Breitbart Big Government, by James Delingpole

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 9/14/2018 1:18:27 PM

Hurricane Florence is gathering strength as it approaches the Carolinas but not everyone is praying that it dissipates. For Al Gore, Alec Baldwin, Jane Goodall, Catherine McKenna, Dave Matthews, John Kerry, Tom Steyer and all the other celebrity alarmists attending the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco over the next couple of days, this hurricane is like manna from heaven: the worse it gets, the better it is for their scaremongering cause.

Published before Florence made landfall, it includes Delingpole’s very good thoughts on the wackos who try to attibute these weather events to “climate change”. Duh. They can’t even get the lingo right. They’re talking about Human-caused Climate Change”, which is nonexistent.

If Hillary had been elected she would have made short work of this storm by dropping dozens of nuclear bombs on it to "blow it out" and the media would have glorified her for her genius, courage and wisdom.

Thousands will now die in the Carolinas because that doofus Trump lacks these qualities.

CNN’s Chris Cillizza lied about President Trump “telling the FBI to ignore an allegation of sexual” misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Cillizza, who has already proven himself to be one of the most flagrantly dishonest staffers at the far-left CNN, tweeted out his lie Tuesday in response to a comment Trump made about the FBI not wanting to investigate the misconduct allegation against Kavanaugh. The U.S. Department of Justice said on Wednesday it would look into alleged “misuse of government resources to advance personal interests” in response to a video from James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas purporting to expose “deep state” federal employees. Christine Blasey Ford was a year or so behind me, I remember her. I signed this letter. The incident was spoken about for days afterwords in school. These tweets caught my attention last night, as Whelan is prominent in conservative legal circles and might know of matters afoot behind the scenes that the rest of us plebes aren’t aware of yet. He seems very confident that the Ford matter is about to blow up in Democrats’ faces somehow. By one week from today, I expect that Judge Kavanaugh will have been clearly vindicated on this matter. Specifically, I expect that compelling evidence will show his categorical denial to be truthful. There will be no cloud over him. — Ed Whelan (@EdWhelanEPPC) September 18, 2018

Congress is accustomed to conditional spending and conditional adjournments. It is not as accustomed to conditional witnesses. Nevertheless, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford has made her testimony on allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh conditional on the FBI launching an investigation into whether he tried to rape her in high school. The new condition conflicts with assurances from Ford’s counsel that she was prepared to state her allegations under oath before the committee if it delayed its scheduled vote on Kavanaugh.

Newly Released Eric Holder Memo: Feds

The federal government can use the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to spy on journalists. So said a pair of 2015 Justice Department memos, including one from then–Attorney General Eric Holder. FISA is controversial in itself. The act is supposed to be used to justify surveillance on foreign targets. But as Reason´s Scott Shackford has explained, intelligence agencies often use it to secretly spy on American citizens, sometimes without a warrant. According to the newly released documents,

On Tuesday morning, Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford´s expected testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee was being called the most-anticipated event in Washington in decades. By Tuesday night, the whole thing appeared to be off. Through it all, as Democrats scrambled and re-calibrated their position, Kavanaugh appeared extraordinarily confident.(Snip)As it all unfolded, the striking thing from the Kavanaugh side of the conflict was a sense of solid and increasing confidence. Kavanaugh allies privately said they expected information to emerge that would support his contention that he had nothing to do with the events described by Ford.

Welcome to the Supreme Court, Judge Brett Kavanaugh. Democrats threw in the towel on their Anita Hill Revival. Christine Blasey Ford falsely accused of attempting to rape her sometime in the 1980s. She doesn´t know the time. Or the place. But she said she started remember it in 2012. While the political press corps carried the water for Democrats on this one, the bag broke. Nobody is buying it -- outside of foaming-at-the-mouth liberals. Ford threw in the towel.

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford will go head-to-head in testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee next Monday. The hearing sets up a potential show down on Capitol Hill, the likes of which have not been seen since Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill testified in 1991 after she accused him of sexual harassment. Thomas was ultimately confirmed after a bitter and bruising battle. But the Kavanaugh-Ford hearing comes more than 25 years later, amid the #metoo movement, and when women have been energized after the election of Donald Trump as president.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s treatment of a more than 3-decade-old sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was unfair all around. It was unfair to Kavanaugh, unfair to his accuser and unfair to Feinstein’s colleagues — Democrats and Republicans alike — on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Feinstein, a California Democrat, took the worst possible course by waiting until almost a week after Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing was completed to ominously announce that she had turned over “information from an individual” about Kavanaugh to the FBI, and adding that she would be honoring the woman’s “strongly requested” confidentiality.

First, Democrats are proving again that their force multiplier is a win-or-die zealotry. They were on a mission to kill anybody President Trump chose to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and, within minutes of Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer announced he would fight Kavanaugh “with everything I have.” All 10 Dems on the Judiciary Committee pledged to vote no.
