Venezuelans to Jim Carrey: ‘Socialism

Breitbart, by Frances Martel

Venezuelans suffering through the worst crisis in the nation’s history have responded with outrage to actor Jim Carrey’s call to the world to “say yes to socialism.” In a column published Wednesday, columnist Laureano Márquez argued that Carrey misunderstands the “repression” conducted in the name of socialism in places like the Latin American country. Márquez, writing for the Venezuelan outlet Runrunes, gives Carrey the benefit of the doubt as an actor with no known education in political science. “Sometimes it seems that Hollywood stars’ inability to understand politics is directly proportional

You have to consider that Carey is from Canada. They are pretty good neighbors and allies, but like Europe, they have had the benefit of military protection by the U.S. As a result, they can dabble in socialism with the money they would otherwise need to have a strong organic defense. That is somehow always lost in the equation when the glories of socialism are touted.

Most people who are proponents of socialism couldn´t even define it. They tend to think it´s doing good things for people in need through wealth redistribution. They don´t know it means state ownership of the means of production, completely absconding with the mechanisms to create wealth.

They´ll challenge you on all the things you must be against if you are against socialism. Like the fire truck showing up when you need it.

At this moment our problem is fascism. The unholy relationship between government and private enterprise is clandestinely accomplishing the same authoritarian control that results from socialism.

Finally, we hear from the people living the Socialist Dream.
And remember, they bought the bull about how great it was hook, line and sinker, and voted to do this to themselves.
As with all things from the Left, the Socialist/Communist lie sounds great. The raping, starving, beatings and dying isn´t so good. Just like the muslims, the Left promises heaven, and delivers hell instead.

Carrey has made a living acting like an idiot. He has now proven that he has not been acting. They say he is a painter. LOL. If his "paintings" were not signed by a celebrity, they would be laughed at just like he is laughed at. These Socialist/Communist actors watch only one news outlet: CNN. That keeps them in the dark. Then they say all of this stupid stuff to keep their jobs. It boils down to political harassment.

I´m fully prepared to embrace socialism after Carrey gives up all his wealth and lives in government housing with a monthly stipend from Uncle Sam.

Thing is these fools like socialism because they assume their status and wealth will keep them from experiencing the dark side of it but it won´t.

I´m taking up a collection to send Carrey to Venezuela to get some first hand experience.

Many Democrats are understandably angry about efforts to suppress the vote in Georgia and elsewhere in the 2018 midterm elections. In the Peach State, there is no question that Gov.-elect Brian Kemp, while secretary of state, made it harder for minority and other voters to register and vote, through a combination of deliberate efforts and gross incompetence. He administered what I consider to be the most egregious partisan action by an election official in the modern era when he falsely accused the Georgia Democratic Party of hacking into the state election system,
