Media Matters vs. Blacks

Having dispatched Alex Jones from most every public platform on the face of the earth, the left is looking to engage more targets.. With an insatiable appetite to remove conservative thought from the public square, they have found a new whipping boy to thrash. His name is Jesse Lee Peterson, and his face is being plastered on liberal “Most Wanted” posters for his “white supremacist content.” In an odd twist, it turns out that Mr. Peterson is a black man whose family worked on a plantation in Alabama. His personal history is replete with being born in the Jim Crow south

IMO by far most hate groups are on the left, MM being one of the worst. The democrat party I include also, as they will stoop to anything lowlife activity to achieve their dishonest goals. I used to have some respect for some of their politicians, but no more, none of them. They´re terrible people.

Jesse Lee Peterson has been around and influential for some time, and one of my heroes for courage and clear thinking. He wrote From Rage to Responsibility in 2,000. An excellent read then and now. He is on the level of Walter Williams and Shelby Steel in recognizing the trick liberals have played successfully on Black people.

With zero fear of being called racists - even in Mexico, because the light-and-bright elites live in Mexico City - Tijuana´s neighborhood groups staged some amazingly politically incorrect protests as a means of getting their message out. To an American observer, the sorts of things being said are positively jaw-droppingly raw. Here´s the big sign at the Cuauhtemoc statue at a key roundabout that sort of serves as Tijuana´s town square, taken as a screengrab from major Mexican media outlet Reforma:

Nobody ever called the master of the Art of the Deal not up on getting what he wants by throwing his opponents on their backfoot. And now I think we see it. Trump is out there, plain as day, advising Democrats to go on, Beav, pick San Francisco Democrat Nancy Pelosi as their next House Speaker. Do it. It´s actually pretty funny. According to the New York Post: “I can get Nancy Pelosi as many votes as she wants in order for her to be Speaker of the House,” Trump tweeted.

TIJUANA, Mexico — Hundreds of Tijuana residents, opposed to what they described as the "chaos" of the Central American migrant caravan, gathered at a prominent roundabout in Tijuana Sunday morning, before marching to a large, makeshift shelter, which now holds about 2,400 migrants. They chanted “Mexico! Mexico!” and “yes to migrants, no to invaders!” They sang the national anthem and waved Mexican flags and banners and signs, with messages urging the migrants to go home and urging the government to take action. Some protesters said Mexico doesn’t have the resources to care for its own people,

Was the man who who´s widely believed to be Washington´s new cardinal, Joseph Tobin of the Newark diocese, bunking with a houseboy? It looks like it, given the reporting of the indefatigable George Neumayr. I wanted to ask Tobin about a story I broke in October: that an Italian actor, Francesco Castiglione, was living in his rectory, which had caused murmuring among concerned Catholics in his archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey. Some of those concerned Catholics had called me, suspecting that Castiglione was the real recipient of Tobin’s infamous accidental tweet from last

Port of Spain, Trinidad -- When Ruth Navarro set her sights on the picturesque and wealthy islands of Trinidad and Tobago, just a few miles off Venezuela’s coast, she imagined a place where she could escape the grinding hunger of home and, most importantly, build a life for her 8-year-old daughter, Stephani. Instead she says she feels caught in a beautiful trap — a place surrounded by mountains and sweeping beaches — but where she cannot legally work and her daughter cannot go to school. TIJUANA, Mexico — Many of the nearly 3,000 Central American migrants who have reached the Mexican border with California via caravan said Saturday they do not feel welcome in the city of Tijuana, where hundreds more migrants are headed after more than a month on the road. The vast majority were camped at an outdoor sports complex, sleeping on a dirt baseball field and under bleachers with a view of the steel walls topped by barbed wire at the newly reinforced U.S.-Mexico border. The city opened the complex after other shelters were filled to capacity. Church groups provided

Pueblo Sin Fronteras, the open-borders group that organized the migrant caravan, has had an easy time of it, racking up propaganda victory after propaganda victory as its group snaked through Mexico. They put the tiny number of women and children in the group up front for the news cameras with the media obliging them to create the perception that the entire group was just women and children fleeing gangs instead of largely military-aged unemployed young men. They brazenly waved the Honduran, Guatemalan, Mexican and Salvadoran flags in a bid to signal they aren´t looking for ´mercy´

Newly elected Representative Ilhan Omar, the Somali-heritage Muslim from Minneapolis who replaces Keith Ellison, has already reversed her position on the BDS (Boyott, Divest, Sanction) Movement that seeks to delegitimize Israel now that she is safely elected. Since she has cited no reasons for changing her mind, she must have been lying. Brent Scher of the Free Beacon reports: Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar came out against the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement during her campaign, but after winning election, she now says she "supports the BDS movement."

Atkins vindicated again. Poor Dr. Robert Atkins, the diabetes expert who discovered in the early 1970s that low carb diets help patients lose weight better than low fat diets, has always had the worst time being believed. He´s been debunked, lied about, and treated as a pariah by the diet establishment, despite the obvious merits of his findings. Study after study affirms them, researchers such as Gary Taubes confirm his claims, and similar low-carb regimens to the Atkins Diet, such as Keto, have large followings, but the high-carb government food pyramid and an entire diet industry built

TIJUANA, Mexico - Demonized by U.S. President Donald Trump and exhausted after a harrowing journey, members of Central American migrant caravans now face a new threat: open hostility from some Mexicans on the U.S. border. A small group of residents of an upscale neighborhood in the Mexican border of Tijuana confronted caravan migrants late on Wednesday, throwing stones and telling them to go back to their home countries. “Get out of here,” a group of around 20 people shouted at a camp of Hondurans near the border. “We want you to return to your country. You are not welcome.”

The latest list of people missing from the Camp Fire in Butte County has more than doubled to 301, with nearly 500 searchers sifting through the rubble of Paradise and other communities devasted by the blaze that erupted one week ago. The list has grown steadily since Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea’s office released the first tally of 103 missing on Wednesday, then later amended it to total 130. The list of missing persons has been developed from calls from people concerned about friends or relatives who have not been heard from since the fire,

Up until about now, I´ve been against the idea of firing Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. She´s said the right things and any hampering of her duties seems to have been largely been the work of leftwing lawyers and mob protestors. I´m not so sure of that anymore. It has been speculated that Mitt Romney’s Utah Senate seat could serve as a prelude to another Presidential run. In the most ambitious version of events, he could even challenge Donald Trump in the 2020 primaries, newly legitimized and augmented by his actions in the Capitol Building. This would allow moderate Republicans to reclaim their party’s mantle and unroot alt-right influences. But would Romney do it? His willingness to unequivocally challenge Trump could be seen either as a pro or con by Republicans, depending on their opinions of the sitting president.

Norris-Weeks said she saw an early draft of the letter. In the version she saw, she said Snipes, 75, expressed a desire to spend more time with her family.

To look back at the moment John Kerry entered US public life, addressing the Senate foreign relations committee on 22 April 1971, is to be struck by many things. There are the famous words, of course: “How do you ask a man to be the last man to die in Vietnam? How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?” There is the shock of dark, Beatles-inspired hair, the distinctly British-tinged accent. Above all, there is the self-possession. Even though, as he describes it in his new book, Every Day Is Extra,

Championing the cause of the poor, Pope Francis on Sunday lamented that "the wealthy few" enjoy what, "in justice, belongs to all" and said Christians cannot remain indifferent to the growing cries of the exploited and the indigent, including migrants. Francis invited about 6,000 poor people as well as some of the volunteers who help them to the splendor of St. Peter´s Basilica where he celebrated Mass on a day the Catholic Church dedicates to the needy. Later, he sat down with 1,500 of the indigent for a lunch of lasagna, chicken, mashed potatoes and tiramisu in a Vatican auditorium.
