Hurricane Florence is not climate change or
global warming. It´s just the weather.

USA Today, by Roy Spencer

Even before Hurricane Florence made landfall somewhere near the border of North and South Carolina, predicted damage from potentially catastrophic flooding from the storm was already being blamed on global warming. Writing for NBC News, Kristina Dahl contended, “With each new storm, we are forced to question whether this is our new, climate change-fueled reality, and to ask ourselves what we can do to minimize the toll from supercharged storms.”

Well Roy, stating the truth to the left is going to get you in a lot of trouble. Expect the usual death threats, vulgar attacks on you and your family and you will also be outed for things you never did. Just sayin´

My theory is that the hotter sun, which is caused by methane gas and CO2, is frying brains through thin skin and producing a whole generation of feeble-minded idiots. The evidence is right in front of us. A tin foil hat is not a joke.

Roy Spencer is used to being attacked from the left. He doesn´t say there´s no global warming, but he doesn´t exaggerate it, either. That, in their mind, makes him a "denier."

Yep, #7, that methane and CO2 flows upwards, jumps the 93 million miles to the sun and makes it hotter.

Yep, gotta be what it is.

Tucker Carlson´s ´Ship of Fools´
rises above mundane punditry

Washington Examiner, by Mary Vought    Original Article

Political pundit books are a dime-a-dozen nowadays. Too often, they only exist as a written extension of the author’s current show or very basic beliefs. Instead of revealing a deeper insight, they end up being nothing more than fodder for a fan’s online Christmas wish list. But like Tucker Carlson often seems to do, his writing takes readers to a new level, a fresh perspective, of the current state of affairs in Washington and America. Known for schooling uninformed liberals in TV debates, Carlson transfers that same primetime entertainment to the pages of Ship of Fools.

Democrats have tried to make Tuesday’s elections about health care. As with most issues, they equate government spending with success — liberals claim they care more than conservatives because they spend more of other people’s hard-earned money. Full disclosure: My husband, Russ Vought, is deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget. But speaking strictly as the mother of a child with a life-threatening genetic disease, I know that other policy changes can make a critical impact on the lives of sick patients without government spending.

A University of Georgia teaching assistant who routinely attacks the concept of “whiteness” on social media took it a step further Wednesday when he declared that “some white people may have to die” in order for black people to advance. “Some white people may have to die for black communities to be made whole in this struggle to advance to freedom,” UGA philosophy TA and Ph.D. student Irami Osei-Frimpong wrote in a now-deleted comment on the Overheard at UGA Facebook page, Campus Reform reported. Vox dubbed her “the most buzzed-about first-term member of the House of Representatives,” and The Atlantic credited her with an “unusually transparent approach to public relations.” She’s a former Bernie Sanders campaign volunteer and a self-styled democratic socialist. Despite all the fanfare, her recent “60 Minutes” interview with Anderson Cooper shined a bright spotlight on a painful fact: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will make it harder for young women in politics to be taken seriously in the future. In mere minutes, Ocasio-Cortez managed to affirm nearly every negative stereotype about the female sex,

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) looked defeated Friday afternoon when reporters confronted her over her outrageous claims Trump endangered her life by cancelling her military flight then allegedly leaked her commercial travel plans. Earlier Friday morning, Pelosi’s spokesman, Drew Hammill accused President Trump of endangering Pelosi’s life by leaking her commercial travel plans. Nancy Pelosi doubled down on those claims when confronted by reporters. “We had the prerogative to travel commercially, and we made plans to do that, until the administration then leaked that we were traveling commercially,” Pelosi told a gaggle of reporters. The federal government shutdown has presented a unique opportunity for President Donald Trump to clear out the deadwood in the federal bureaucracy, saving U.S. taxpayers billions of dollars in salaries, perks, and rented office space for people who aren´t doing anything productive. At the same time, Trump can get rid of dozens, possibly even hundreds of Deep State operatives in the government, handpicked by Barack Obama and Bill Clinton for their loyalty to the Democratic Party, not their country or the law. These people leak like a screen door in a submarine, mainly to CNN and MSNBC, the twin headquarters

Former Vice President Joe Biden´s son, Hunter Biden, said that his father counseled him not to worry about hurting the family´s "public profile" when it came to his private life, which includes divorcing his wife and engaging in an affair with his late brother Beau´s widow, Hallie. "Even though my life has been played out in the media, because I am a Biden, my father never once suggested that the family’s public profile should be my priority. The priority has always been clear for my dad, as it is, now, for me: Never run from a struggle. Love people and

A near majority of Republicans do not have a favorable view of freshman Senator Willard “Mitt” Romney (R-UT), according to a PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist poll released on Thursday. The poll, conducted January 10-13, found 48% of “Republicans and conservative-leaning” have an “unfavorable” view Romney. Just 29% view Romney favorably while another 23% are “unsure” or “never heard” of him. Never Trumpers like Bill Kristol have said Romney is now the “leader of the Republican Resistance to” President Donald Trump, and the PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist poll again shows how unpopular of a label that is among Republicans.

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin fretted Friday that many Americans would dismiss the news media as a "bunch of leftist liars" in the wake of the BuzzFeed News story called "not accurate" by special counsel Robert Mueller´s office. BuzzFeed set off a Washington firestorm on Thursday with its report that President Donald Trump had directed longtime lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. However, on Friday night, a spokesman for Mueller´s office said the report was "not accurate."

President Trump outlined a plan to end the government shutdown in a Saturday afternoon address, offering three years of legislative relief for 700,000 DACA recipients — including protection from deportation —and Temporary Protective Status awardees. He also offered $800 million in urgent humanitarian assistance, 75 new immigration teams to reduce the court backlog of 900,000 cases, which he called an ´impossible nightmare,´ in remarks from the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House. In exchange, he said he wants $5.7 billion for the ´strategic deployment of physical barriers, or a wall,´ that he will use to put ´steel barriers in

Former White House political strategist Karl Rove warned Senate Republicans in a meeting this week not to become overly reliant on their conservative base as they head into what could be a tough 2020 presidential election. Rove, who served as former President George W. Bush’s top political strategist, was brought in by Senate GOP leaders to speak to the 22 Republican incumbents up for reelection at an all-day planning session Thursday hosted at Nationals Park in southeast Washington,

Another leak about President Trump, supposedly from federal prosecutors, and another media freakout. This one was different from the earlier ones in its seriousness. Two reporters from BuzzFeed, citing two anonymous law enforcement officials, reported that Trump had instructed his former lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress, or at least that this accusation had been passed on to special counsel Robert Mueller. In a late Friday night news dump 24 hours after this "scoop," Mueller released a statement that the whole thing was a big hoax — "not accurate." We had drafted an editorial warning
