CBS announced on Wednesday that Jeff Fager, the longtime “60 Minutes” executive producer, was leaving for violating company policy, just days after Leslie Moonves stepped down as the company’s chief executive following numerous allegations of sexual misconduct. In recent articles in The New Yorker and The Washington Post, Mr. Fager had been accused of touching women at company parties in ways that made them feel uncomfortable and fostering a culture of harassment at “60 Minutes.”

Never expect a politically liberal employer to display compassion or leniency for one-time, borderline mistakes. They´ll cut your head off without a second thought.

Since Fager is a lib and has witnessed all this first hand, I´m surprised that he is surprised.

I have mixed feelings about this. Yes, he is probably a slime ball, but some of these women waited years and all jumped on the bandwagon together.

Where is Stormy´s proof ? Anybody can have a photo taken at a function with a celebrity. Does that give them the right to make accusations years later to bring them down?

The almost unnoticed fact in the latest Democratic assault on the Trump administration is that it is based entirely on charges of confusion, the circus, incoherence, and nastiness. These themes never have to be hammered very long before the faithful take up the incantation about impeachment, but these aren’t impeachable, even if the charges were true.

CBS CEO Les Moonves worked to torpedo Janet Jackson’s career because she wasn’t apologetic enough over her infamous Super Bowl nip-slip, according to a new report. The scandal-scarred entertainment exec had it out for Jackson ever since 2004, when Justin Timberlake exposed her breast to some 100 million fans in a supposed wardrobe malfunction during the halftime show.Moonves was embarrassed by the debacle — which lasted nine-sixteenths of a second — and punished the two performers by banning them from the CBS-hosted Grammys the next month, sources told the Huffington Post.

Watching the slow, public evisceration of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by Senate Democrats —on the strength of one unsubstantiated charge of alleged sexual aggression 36 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school — a question comes to mind: Have you no sense of decency, Sen. Feinstein? Decency was once an important feature of the Democratic Party’s story. Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.

First, Democrats are proving again that their force multiplier is a win-or-die zealotry. They were on a mission to kill anybody President Trump chose to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and, within minutes of Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer announced he would fight Kavanaugh “with everything I have.” All 10 Dems on the Judiciary Committee pledged to vote no.
