It´s about time we find out if the Logan Act has claws!

Arrest that rotten traitor the moment he sets foot back on US soil. Then we can have fun watching Kerry and his pals in the press go nuts running around in circles and bouncing off the walls trying to spin this thing.

Meanwhile, Kerry spends millions defending himself. We won´t bankrupt him, but we can make a dent and drive him crazy! Who knows, perhaps we´ll prevail and throw his rotten keester in prison.

He is a private citizen, trying to "salvage" a deal that was NEVER SIGNED by anyone, and never agreed to by the Senate as a treaty.

It was air to begin with, he has no authority.

Hard to envision a more foolish pointless effort....but then again, John Effin Kerry has always been a foolish, pointless man.

Under what legal controlling authority does he have to discuss national security issues for the United States of America?

Does he have top secret security clearance still?

I prefer to see this as something more nefarious than a simple Logan act violation. I see this as part of a larger phenomenon wherein certain government and former government elites have refused to accept the outcome of a legal election putting themselves above the country, constitution and we the people. This is sedition and when involving a genuine enemy, (death to America anyone?) elevates to treason.

This is taking the coup to the next level by placing the shadow government in the role of doing official government business. Do they think they can just nudge the constitutional government aside? What next, do they start directing the military to take action?

Has this progressed to open rebellion?

One positive with Trump, he won’t give Iran a dime, let alone $1.8 billion, to have them release Kerry & Taylor if their taken hostage.

The Logan Act (18 U.S.C.A. § 953 [1948]) is a single federal statute making it a crime for a citizen to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States. Specifically, it prohibits citizens from negotiating with other nations on behalf of the United States without authorization.

Watching the slow, public evisceration of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by Senate Democrats —on the strength of one unsubstantiated charge of alleged sexual aggression 36 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school — a question comes to mind: Have you no sense of decency, Sen. Feinstein? Decency was once an important feature of the Democratic Party’s story. Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.

In an interview with CNN, the Democratic senator says that committee members are bullying Ford by calling for her testimony without the support of corroborating witnesses or an FBI investigation into the credibility of her claim. "I don´t think she should be bullied into this scenario, where it´s a ´he-said, she-said´ when many of the committee members

CNN aired a segment about Stormy Daniels’ new book that described what Donald Trump’s genitals looks like on The Lead with Jake Tapper Tuesday. “Lots of books claim to be tell-alls, but they don’t follow through. Stormy Daniels’ new book about her life is not that book. Wow. She tells all,” Jake Tapper said to introduce the segment. “From the details of her career in porn to, yes, being in bed with the future president of the United States, and even being able to pick certain parts of him out of a lineup–then being threatened to shut up about it.
