Andrew Cuomo has no credibility left
New York Post, by Editorial

Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s credibility stands in shreds just hours before Thursday’s primary, as fresh evidence puts his fingerprints all over what he insists are just a series of remarkable coincidences. As The Post’s Anna Sanders and Bruce Golding report, a top Cuomo campaign official emailed this paper trying to plant a news story that mirrored the same points contained in that dirty-trick mailer accusing opponent Cynthia Nixon of being “silent on anti-Semitism.” That would be the very same mailer the notoriously hands-on governor insisted he knew nothing about and hadn’t even seen,

Problem is some people measure credibility way differently than we do.

We look for honesty, consistency, integrity. The left only look for loyalty to the cult and its cause.

Now I note that a Kerry staffer is being set ups for that remark that his opponent is anti-semitic. Just like in "Vote for Cuomo, not the Homo" when Koch was the opponent. A suspicious package at the address of Robert De Niro’s restaurant was being investigated by the NYPD on Thursday. Police said they responded to reports of a suspicious package in the Tribeca area of Manhattan. The address where authorities were investigating is associated with De Niro’s restaurant, Tribeca Grill, and his production company Tribeca Films. An Italian restaurant is located next door. Video appeared to show officials moving the suspicious package out of the

The exodus of migrants walking through Mexico is, no doubt, a real story. It’s just not the same story that much of the American news media is incredulously — at times hysterically — telling. The “caravan crisis,” said an ABC News graphic, added with some classic false-equivalency in its chyron: “Both sides seizing on immigration as mid-term nears.” An “army,” was how the Associated Press described the migrants in a much-criticized tweet that was later deleted.

Republicans on Capitol Hill have added enormously to the public´s understanding of what happened in the Trump-Russia investigation. They´re still doing it. But it will come to a screeching halt if the GOP loses control of the House in next month´s midterm elections. The driving force behind the revelations is House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes. But a number of other Republicans in the House, including Reps. Trey Gowdy, John Ratcliffe, Bob Goodlatte, Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows, and others have also played critical roles. (In the Senate, Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley has done key work,

In the new film (not a reboot but a sequel that occurs 40 years after the events in the 1978 original and ignores all intervening Halloween movies), the woman, a mom named Karen, is forever grumbling about her Parris Island–style upbringing. Her mother is Laurie Strode, played once again by Jamie Lee Curtis.

A Eurobarometer poll has found that Italy has become the most eurosceptic country within the European Union as only 44 percent of Italians would vote to remain in the bloc if a referendum were held. The results of the survey were much different when Italians were asked about keeping the euro, with 65 percent saying they supported Italy continuing to use the currency, Il Giornale reports. The Italians are much less positive on membership of the EU compared to the average across the political bloc in which 66 percent said they would favour remaining in the union. Nikki Haley’s surprising resignation on October 4 as US ambassador to the United Nations fueled rumors about the underlying reasons for its suddenness and timing. Was she positioning herself for a future Senate or presidential campaign? The speculation about the forty-six-year-old former South Carolina governor’s future was accompanied by a wave of media praise that recast her as a moderate alternative to the hypernationalist commander in chief. “Nikki Haley Will Be Missed” was how the New York Times editorial board headlined its assessment of Haley’s time at the United Nations. Now that the dust is settling on the Kavanaugh affair, it is well to remember that much of the concern over the stance he may take as a judge could be unjustified. These are life appointments, and judges’ views change once they are installed. The calculation of a solid conservative majority is apt to be fragile in fact. There was a great liberal bench installed by Franklin D. Roosevelt, after he terrified the Supreme Court with his legislative effort to pack the court in 1937.

Spreading lies to benefit the Democrat Party is what the establishment media do. For example, over the weekend, NBC News fabricated the lie that President Trump gushed over Confederate General Robert E. Lee. This was a deliberate lie to smear Trump as racist, and it was only corrected by NBC after the lie had run its course. Over the same weekend, CNN crafted its own lie to make Donald Trump Jr. look racist.

Second wave feminism, edgy, in-your-face, bra-burning feminism reached its crescendo in the late sixties and early seventies. The Pill hit the market at the same time which immediately opened a brave new world – a world where sex was de-coupled from reproduction. Almost overnight, marriage and motherhood were deemed to be “below” the aspirations of young girls who were encouraged to pursue careers rather than eligible men. Gloria Steinem’s Ms. magazine was at the forefront of this movement. Marriage was out, children were out, free love was in, and it was definitely fun while it lasted.

The Australian marsupial can pass up to 100 deposits of poop a night and they use the piles to mark territory. The shape helps it stop rolling away. Despite having round anuses like other mammals, wombats do not produce round pellets, tubular coils or messy piles. Researchers revealed on Sunday the varied elasticity of the intestines help to sculpt the poop into cubes.
