Author of ´How to Murder Your Husband´
arrested for allegedly killing her husband

Life has apparently imitated art for one romance writer. In a twist of irony so devious it would have turned Agatha Christie green with envy, Oregon chef Daniel Brophy was found shot to death nearly seven years after his wife of 27 years penned an essay titled “How to Murder Your Husband.” Nancy Crampton-Brophy, the writer of sensuous mysteries such as “Hell on the Heart” and “The Wrong Husband,” was arrested for murder on Sept. 5 — more than three months after the death of her spouse.

Comments:
This is the plot from every cheesy Murder She Wrote/Columbo/Matlock etc etc

Not much specificity in this short piece. Aside from writing the referenced essay, why and how do they think she did it?

Reminds me of an old Jack Lemmon, Terry Thomas movie, How to Murder Your Wife. But Lemmon only pretended to murder his wife in a comic strip he wrote. No man would ever murder Virna Lisi.

Actually, a better story for a movie or novel would be if someone had used the author´s method(s) described in her essay to kill the author´s spouse, casting the obvious blame on the spouse. That would be the Murder She Wrote plot, anyway. Or it would end up that H committed suicide but did it in a way that would implicate W.

This crime was committed in Portland, Oregon, a city that has supported Antifa in the past.

Who knows what happened, and who knows whether they have just rounded up the usual suspect, the spouse.

Basic Instinct (1992), starring the rather attractive Sharon Stone (Catherine Tramell), was all about this subject....

John Correli: Did you kill Mr. Boz, Miss Tramell?

Catherine: I´d have to be pretty stupid to write a book about killing and then kill him the way I described in my book. I´d be announcing myself as the killer. I´m not stupid.

#12, Sharon Stone is a native of Saegertown, Pa., a village down the road from Erie. She also has a genius IQ, went to Edinboro College for a short time at age 16, I think.
And she showed her stuff to Newman in this movie! (although he explained on a talk show how he didn´t actually see ´it´ because the camera had to be placed where he was sitting.)

As for the case described in the article, the woman should not have done one or the other.

The woman is innocent. Her husband woke up, saw that, and committed suicide.

Mistaken Identity?
Powerline, by Steven Hayward    Original Article

Paul (and Senator Orrin Hatch) has already mentioned the possibility that Dr. Ford’s allegation of sexual assault by Brett Kavanaugh may be a case of mistaken identity, based in part on Ed Whelan’s cryptic tweets that Kavanaugh is going to be fully exonerated. This has set off of firestorm of rumors and expectations. Whalen has just now (6 pm eastern time) provided one specific scenario of this on Twitter, offering up a specific name (though careful to note that he makes no allegation of implication that the other person, Chris Garrett, assaulted Ford as claimed).

Naomi Osaka became the first Japanese player to win a Grand Slam after she defeated Serena Williams 6-2, 6-4. The match was interrupted by issues between Williams and umpire Carlos Ramos, who handed Serena several violations, including a game penalty that put Osaka up 5-3 in the second set. Before the game penalty, Williams got a second violation, this one for smashing her racket, and again yelled at the chair umpire who had given her a first warning for coaching. That second code violation cost Williams a point, meaning Naomi Osaka had a 15-0 even before hitting her first serve

When then-FBI Director James Comey announced he was closing the Hillary Clinton email investigation for a second time just days before the 2016 election, he certified to Congress that his agency had “reviewed all of the communications” discovered on a personal laptop used by Clinton’s closest aide, Huma Abedin, and her husband, Anthony Weiner. (snip) Tireless agents, he claimed, then worked “night after night after night” to scrutinize the remaining material. But virtually none of his account was true, a growing body of evidence reveals.

Since high school keg parties at the elite prep schools attended by Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey are now a matter of consuming interest to the Democrat-media complex, it is perhaps telling that the high school yearbooks of Holton Arms, the school attended by Blasey, have been scrubbed from the web. The blog Cult of the First Amendment says: On Monday Sept. 17th, Christine Blasey Ford’s high school yearbooks suddenly disappeared from the web. I read them days before, knew they would be scrubbed, and saved them.

Eviscerating Kavanaugh: Sen. Feinstein,

Watching the slow, public evisceration of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by Senate Democrats —on the strength of one unsubstantiated charge of alleged sexual aggression 36 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school — a question comes to mind: Have you no sense of decency, Sen. Feinstein? Decency was once an important feature of the Democratic Party’s story. Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.

Hillary Clinton on Tuesday predicted that President Trump will "wholesale fire people" following November´s midterm elections. "After this election, this president is going to wholesale fire people," Clinton said during an interview on MSNBC´s "The Rachel Maddow Show." Predicting that Trump will "be even more uncontrollable and unaccountable" following the results, Clinton argued that the president will fire people who he believes are "undermining him" and "questioning him." "The president is close to being uncontrollable," she continued. In the wide-ranging interview, Clinton also discussed the recent controversy

A lawyer for Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who has alleged Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when the two of them were in high school, said in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee that Blasey is willing to testify before lawmakers as soon as next week, but ruled out Monday, the date the committee had scheduled for a hearing. In an email to committee staffers obtained by CBS News, Ford´s lawyer Debra Katz wrote that Ford "wishes to testify, provided that we can agree on terms that are fair and which ensure her safety.

The Deep State is in an obvious panic mode since President Donald Trump ordered a number of documents relating to the Russia investigation be declassified. A nation gawks as Washington sinks deeper into the muck, but put aside your disgust long enough to digest what we’re seeing. Three big things are on display. First, Democrats are proving again that their force multiplier is a win-or-die zealotry. They were on a mission to kill anybody President Trump chose to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and, within minutes of Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer announced he would fight Kavanaugh “with everything I have.” All 10 Dems on the Judiciary Committee pledged to vote no.
