North Korea is still making nukes, and
the Trump admin is taking a harder line

NBC News, by Courtney Kube, Carol E. Lee

Original Article

Washington - As President Donald Trump issues a steady stream of praise for Kim Jong Un in interviews and on Twitter, a steady stream of evidence that North Korea is still making nuclear weapons has pushed his administration to take a much more aggressive stance toward Pyongyang. (Snip) During the three months since the historic Singapore summit and Trump´s proclamation that North Korea intends to denuclearize, North Korea has built structures to obscure the entrance to at least one warhead storage facility, according to the officials. The U.S. has also observed North Korean workers moving warheads out of the facility,

Comments:
Inspite of the "good will" shown before the world between President Trump and Kim Jong-un, it would be ludicrous to believe that North Korea isn´t trying to complete some part of their nuclear and missile program before going to meetings with US. As other recent articles have shown, the Norks and Iran have visited each other.

United Nations - The United States and Russia clashed Monday over enforcing U.N. sanctions against North Korea, with the U.S. ambassador accusing Moscow of "cheating" and Russia´s envoy accusing Washington of "political ill-intent." The acrimonious meeting of the Security Council was called by U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley, who accused Russia of pressuring independent U.N. experts to alter a report on implementation of sanctions against North Korea that she said contained "evidence of multiple Russian sanctions violations." The sharp disagreement marked a rare break in what has been a united response by the U.N.´s

The US Air Force plans to return to Cold War firepower levels by adding more bombers, fighters, tankers and other frontline units by 2030 -- part of President Donald Trump´s vision of a stronger military to confront Russia and China. Air Force leaders called Monday for a nearly 25 percent increase in operational squadrons over the next 12 years, which would bring the service to a size not seen since the Cold War, (Snip) That strategy shifts the focus of military planning from the so-called war on terror to deterring and/or defeating what it calls "revisionist" states -- Russia and China in particular, but also Iran and North Korea.

Elon Musk attempted to write the next chapter in his quest to open up space to the masses by announcing on Monday night the first paying tourist that his company, SpaceX, seeks to fly on a trip around the moon. Speaking at SpaceX’s headquarters outside of Los Angeles, he introduced Yusaku Maezawa, a Japanese billionaire entrepreneur who founded the fashion label Zozo. (Snip) Musk would not say what the trip would cost, but he did say that the design of the nearly-400-foot-tall Big Falcon Rocket had evolved recently, with the first flights to orbit coming in two to three years. When adults gotta go, they look for the nearest loo or dark alley. Potty training is the saving grace. Unless, that is, the person is a D.C. lawmaker and proposes wasting resources on a task force to study the availability of “safe” public and private restrooms in the District. In this case, the homeless are being exploiting as the problem, while solutions include additional public restrooms and incentives (read grants and public dollars) for private businesses. The chief cook of the public potty bill is D.C. Councilmember Brianne Nadeau, who’s facing re-election. She explained her proposal in a recent opinion piece in Streetsensemedia.org:

The timing of the actual application of the tariffs was not clear, but the move would mark the latest in an escalating trade war with Beijing as Trump seeks to combat what he sees as unfair trade practices from China. It’s been nearly two years since Donald Trump won enough Electoral College votes to become president of the United States. On the day after, in my concession speech, I said, “We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead.” I hoped that my fears for our future were overblown. They were not. In the roughly 21 months since he took the oath of office, Trump has sunk far below the already-low bar he set for himself in his ugly campaign. Exhibit A is the unspeakable cruelty that his administration has inflicted on undocumented families
