AUBURN, Wash. -- Human decency took a back seat in Auburn Saturday when a man and two teens left a clerk suffering a heart attack to die, but not before helping themselves to the cash in the till and several other items in the store, police said. "It just blows my mind. It breaks our hearts," said store manager Angela Sharapova. "We can’t believe that this happened." It was just after 5:30 p.m. when a man and two teen boys went into a Shell station on Auburn Way South. One of the teens grabbed a pepperoni stick and began to eat it,

Sharpest video image I have seen. Should help in catching the three.

5:30 p.m. is an odd time for a robbery. This was probably completely unplanned. But they saw an opportunity and took it.

Should be fingerprints on that cash register and perhaps elsewhere.

They are probably teens and will get off lightly for taking the cash.

And BTW they are greedy and selfish.

How do you punish people like this ? If they go to prison, it´s old home week with family and friends. No fear.

The loss of empathy and basic instincts of humanity to help someone in need is lost on some young people today. This is the reality of life today. Our culture is crumbling around us because many of us have lost the ability to feel compassion for anyone suffering. The rot in being exposed in these alarming instances.

When leaders forcefully and frequently preach hate, of course, it is going to produce feral behavior. It is becoming rampant in parts of the country. It is time that these communities take responsibility for the actions of their young men and women. This is something that cannot be fixed from someone from the outside. And is, frankly, not caused by skin color, it is caused by lack of human decency and character.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victim and his family.

There has never been an American icon quite like George Herman "Babe" Ruth. Nor will there ever be. At a time when baseball was an all-consuming passion in this country, not only was Babe Ruth the best player who ever lived, he also completely revolutionized the game. He altered the sport forever, re-shaping it into his own image. And he did it with a swagger that has never been matched. Not by rock stars, not by movie stars, not by rap artists. He chewed off life in giant bites and swallowed them whole. He ate too much, drank too much, womanized too much. He hit gargantuan moon-shot home runs. He struck out big,

A 29-year-old mechanic took off in a Horizon Q400 turboprop at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Friday night and crashed the plane in the south Puget Sound while being trailed by two fighter jets, officials said. The plane was piloted by a Pierce County man and crashed on Ketron Island, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said. There appear to have been no passengers on the 76-seat plane. The sheriff’s office said that “this is not a terrorist incident” and that the pilot was a mechanic from an unknown airline. He crashed from either doing stunts or because of a lack of flying skills.

Republican Rep. Devin Nunes of California, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, appears to have moved from criticizing the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election to strategizing about how to blunt its impact should it imperil President Donald Trump. The most promising instrument in this effort, he suggested in unfiltered remarks last month, is retaining a GOP-controlled Congress. Even if he had been speaking publicly, the eight-term Republican might not have chosen his words differently. He is an adamantly pro-Trump lawmaker who in February released a memorandum accusing the intelligence community of conspiring against the president.

Scientists say they have uncovered how and why wombats produce cube-shaped poo - the only known species to do so. The Australian marsupial can pass up to 100 deposits of poop a night and they use the piles to mark territory. The shape helps it stop rolling away. Despite having round anuses like other mammals, wombats do not produce round pellets, tubular coils or messy piles. Researchers revealed on Sunday the varied elasticity of the intestines help to sculpt the poop into cubes.
