The White House staff snake pit
just keeps getting more venomous

CNN, by Chris Cillizza

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 9/10/2018 9:14:53 PM

Call it the "Omarosa Effect.” If you work in the White House, you now have to leave your phone in your office if you are going to a meeting in the Situation Room. That new policy comes on the heels of Manigault Newman releasing more secretly recorded audiotapes of conversations she had during the year she spent in the White House. It also comes amid an ongoing witch hunt -- to borrow a term -- over who wrote an anonymous op-ed in The New York Times that was scathingly critical of the President.

I agree with the headline, if you approach a snake it becomes more menacing as you "invade its space," but Cillizza is entirely wrong about who the snake is.

There is vast corruption in the system, entrenched and growing fat for years. Lazy and smug corruption like this we haven´t seen since Tammany Hall days in New York. (Boss Tweed and the Tammany Hall machine were Democrats, btw.)

I suspect some FISA judges should be canned. Comey and a number of other prominent dirty cops should be jailed, such as Andrew Weissmann. Hillary and her gang should be in jail and the Clinton Foundation entirely dissolved. And on it goes.

I believe one reason Obama is back out campaigning is because if this corruption is thoroughly lanced, he and many of his administration will be indelibly tarnished.

The supremely arrogant Strzok is the way he is because of his absolute confidence that he will never face a reckoning, but retire rich and "innocent."

Trump´s election was a miracle. The fight against this "venomous" corruption is heroic and dangerous, and the outcome is very uncertain.

But great criminals and criminal enterprises always seem untouchable until they crumble. Their appearance of invincibility is a big part of their strength.

If a White House staffer is such a low-life as to record confidential conversations in the Situation Room, this is a reasonable policy. What, it is now scandalous that the President sets the White House policy?

The only thing we see getting more venomous is the snake pit of the Deep State and their media propagandists. They are truly running scared. We will probably never know the depths of their depravity and criminality.

The job of the Senate Judiciary Committee is to vet a Supreme Court nominee and vote on whether the entire Senate can vote on the nomination. It is not a court of law. Consequently, it should not hear testimony from Christine Blasey Ford or Brett Kavanaugh regarding Ford’s allegation of sexual assault. Neither should it recommend that the FBI conduct an investigation. (Snip)I’ll describe a constitutional and practical reason the committee is not the appropriate forum for the Ford matter, and discuss two dangers that could occur if the committee deals with Ford’s allegations.

NEW YORK — Billionaire George Soros is a financial contributor to The Collective, a little-known but increasingly influential political organization that says it is seeking to build a “black political power” movement in the U.S., Federal Election Commission records show. The Collective was one of the primary donors central to funding Andrew Gillum’s recent meteoric rise in the Tallahassee mayor’s successful primary fight for Florida’s Democratic gubernatorial nomination. It reportedly injected nearly $2 million into Gillum’s campaign, funding television and radio ads, get-out-the-vote drives, and playing a key role in helping Gillum defeat his Democratic opponents,

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the California researcher who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault in 1982, has not filed a police report with local authorities. By Ford’s telling, the alleged assault took place at a house party in Montgomery County, Maryland, making county police the appropriate venue for a criminal probe. Thus far, Ford’s attorneys have said federal investigators should handle the accusations. Sgt. Rebecca Innocenti, a spokesperson for the Montgomery County Police, told The Daily Caller News Foundation the department has not yet received a complaint from Ford relating to her sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh.

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s wife Ashley Estes Kavanaugh has received a battery of death threats in recent days, after allegations appeared in the press that the judge sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford in 1982. The vivid missives are just one iteration of the inflamed rhetoric surrounding Kavanaugh’s nomination to the high court, following Ford’s accusations. The Ford family has similarly been threatened. “May you, your husband and your kids burn in hell,” one message to Mrs. Kavanaugh read. Another told Mrs. Kavanaugh to put a bullet in her husband’s skull.

Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.
