Chairman of the Council Of Economic Advisers, Kevin Hassert, participated in the White House press briefing to counter left-wing claims the current economy is simply a continuation of trends. Kevin Hasset described former President Obama’s notion “laughable” and presented a series of intuitive trend charts showing how Obama’s economic trend was downward. The election of President Trump resulted in a “statistically significant” upward deviation and inflection in the graphic trends charts. Mr. Hassett cogently goes through ISM Purchasing Managers’ index, durable goods, capital spending, employment and other statistics before and after Trump’s election date to display how ‘America First’ MAGAnomic

Obama; Was, and still is a narcissistic blow hard. Any numbers that were published during his time between vacations and golf games; had to have been massaged by his Washington sycophants´.
They were regularly changed and doctored, and the lame media only reported what was to his advantage. Notice the media failed to report that his speech in California, only had a head count of 750. Was that all he could afford at the time?

I sure wish the White House releases the charts with explanations. Far too many economics illiterates are believing and touting Obozo´s fallacious claims.

Loved the picture of President Trump and his predecessor. It´s getting emailed to all my liberal friends. Maybe I´ll print off an 8X10 and hang it in my garage bathroom. Right over the roll of commemorative Obama toilet paper.

Sorry for the second posting, but I searched around (a lot of searching around) and found a PDF of the charts here:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Press-Briefing-9.10.18-CEA_Final.pdf

They are worth a download when words just won´t do trying to explain economics to a liberal.

Throughout BO´s presidency, BO asserted things that were flat out lies. Of course no one in the government would contradict him.

That is no longer true which is really bad for BO because his obvious lies make him look like a fool; which is serendipitous since he really is a fool.

What Trump should do is hold a nationally televised presser where he hold up many of the charts, and goes through in a very sober manner, not anything grandiose, just the facts of how things were, and where they are through the efforts of the GOP.

And, why it´s important to keep Republicans in the House.

How the last 10 years were nothing but a series of Continuing Resolutions which is simply a continuation of the previous budget, not an actual budget that was proposed and negotiated. Obama never had even a single one of his budgets enacted by Congress - NONE.

Keep it simple with easy to read charts.

If we had real media in this country, instead of a Fake News propaganda mill, such things would not have to be repeated over and over again.

Demoncrats vehemently opposed civil rights for women and minorities for a century, then, when the tide of history overtook them, they present themselves as the Champions of Civil Rights and take all the credit for it.

Obama´s policies failed miserably, after they did their best to shut down American industry and energy production. Now he wants to take credit for the Trump revival? This clown would be laughed off any public forum if we had an honest press. The press reports it because the left takes their fantasies seriously.

U.S. District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan ruled on Thursday that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has 30 days to answer additional questions about her email scandal. Recent polls are revealing what many conservatives have contended for a while: that the media is decidedly liberal. Several recent media surveys have noted the tilt to the left as Investor’s Business Daily reported in a piece entitled, “Media Bias: Pretty Much All Of Journalism Now Leans Left, Study Shows.” (Photo) The editorial noted that it is “now pretty much a fact that journalism is one of the most left-wing of all professions.” “The profound leftward ideological bias of the Big Media is the main reason why America now seems saturated with ‘fake news.’ Journalists, besotted with their own ideology,

CNN seems to have forgotten the old adage, “Be careful what you wish for.” After filing suit over the revocation of Jim Acosta’s hard pass to the White House and winning, that network’s media beat reporter is upset. Joe DePaolo of Mediaite writes: Brian Stelter stated his belief that nothing has been resolved, and the

WASHINGTON- Cat lovers know when their precious kitties groom themselves, their tongues are fairly scratchy. Utilizing high-tech scans and other tricks, scientists are now learning how those sandpapery tongues help cats get clean and stay cool. The secret: Tiny hooks that spring up on the tongue — with scoops built in to carry saliva deep into all that fur. A crew of mechanical engineers reported the findings Monday, and claim they’re more than a curiosity. They could lead to inventions for pets and people. “Their tongue could help us apply fluids, or clean carpets, or apply medicine” to hairy skin,

Justices Neil Gorsuch and Sonia Sotomayor jointly dissented Monday after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to take up a case concerning drunk driving and the Constitution’s confrontation clause, an apparent first for the divergent pair. Monday’s dissenting opinion from Gorsuch and Sotomayor keeps with the tendency of criminal procedure issues to scramble the Court’s usual alliances. The case was occasioned in April 2015 when an Alabama woman named Vanessa Stuart, who was driving while intoxicated, collided with another vehicle on Interstate 10. The second vehicle careened off the highway into a wooded area — its driver, Tiffany Howell, died before

As midterm results are finally finalized, some with ambiguous implications, the only clear takeaway is that our country is massively divided. While the GOP solidified its control of the Senate despite losing the House of Representatives, the Republican Party is now little more than an asterisk in the nation’s most populous state. Americans on the right side of our political divide in the rest of the country may gloat or lament the Golden State’s emerging single-party rule, but they ignore it at their peril. The Australian marsupial can pass up to 100 deposits of poop a night and they use the piles to mark territory. The shape helps it stop rolling away. Despite having round anuses like other mammals, wombats do not produce round pellets, tubular coils or messy piles. Researchers revealed on Sunday the varied elasticity of the intestines help to sculpt the poop into cubes.
