US announces closure of
Palestinian mission in Washington

Press TV [Tehran, Iran], by Staff

The US State Department has announced it is ordering the closure of the Washington mission of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), a move that has drawn strong reaction from Palestinians. "We have permitted the PLO office to conduct operations that support the objective of achieving a lasting, comprehensive peace between Israelis and the Palestinians since the expiration of a previous waiver in November 2017," State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said on Monday. "However, the PLO has not taken steps to advance the start of direct and meaningful negotiations with Israel,” she stated.

Comments:
As I have recently stated, it is near impossible to get "all" the facts from any one source in the developing breakdown of peace in the Middle East. The Palestinians, who were allowed into the UN because of 0bama, wanted to use their position there to be an active agitator of Israel. The recent, being trying to take them to the ICC over what they claim are illegal settlements, and therefore a human rights violation. President Trump is not buying this, so he has ordered Bolton to warn the ICC to leave Israel, or anyone of our other allies, alone,

The recent announcement of the $200 million cut in payments to the PLO Kleptocrats, and now this announcement are steps in the right direction.

They´ve been offered reasonable peace plans several times, and declined to seriously consider them. Arafat´s wife is living high on the hog (well, maybe not a hog) on the French Rivera from the fortune he amassed riding the "peace process" train. Tjey´re all a bunch of terrorist mobsters and have been for 70 years.

Good on you President Trump and SOS Pompeo.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will visit the South Korean capital “in the near future” and will take tentative steps to close a missile and testing site, ROK President Moon Jae-in said on Wednesday. In a joint statement following the signing of a new inter-Korean agreement, the South Korean President said the two sides had agreed to “remove all danger” of war on the peninsula. The North Korean leader, he continued, would conduct an “unprecedented” visit to South Korea soon, and would close the Tongchang-ri engine test ground and missile test pad. Reports earlier in the year suggested that Pyongyang had already taken steps to

New York - A former aide so close to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo that he considered him like a brother was sentenced to six years in prison Thursday for fraud and accepting bribes. The judge said she hopes the punishment "will be heard in Albany." U.S. District Judge Valerie E. Caproni tried to put the sentencing of Joseph Percoco in perspective, noting other recent high-profile convictions of state leaders. (Snip) Percoco, 49, was convicted in March of accepting more than $300,000 from companies that wanted to gain influence with the Cuomo administration. The US government has slapped punitive sanctions on a key unit of the Chinese military for buying Russian fighter jets and surface-to-air missiles. Washington said that the purchases by the Equipment Development Department (EDD) of China’s Ministry of Defence violated US sanctions on Russia. Both the EDD and its director, Li Shangfu, have been named in Thursday’s sanctions. The action is “aimed at imposing costs on Russia in response to its malign activities,” a senior US administration official said, referring to alleged hacking by Russia during the US 2016 presidential election and its military intervention in eastern

In the ’80, boys’ prep schools like

This past week, I came home from work to find on my kitchen counter a 50th-birthday card from Landon School, the boys’ prep school I attended — which is just down the road, and not all that different, from Georgetown Prep, Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s alma mater. (Snip) Ford had attended Holton-Arms, Landon’s sister school. I have no special knowledge about that night many decades ago — I never knew Ford or Kavanaugh, a man three years my senior who vehemently denies the allegation — but I do remember plenty about the culture of these same-sex programs, not all of it good.

My gosh, but the left has got itself in a tizzy. A desperate tizzy, to be more accurate. A desperate, costly tizzy that pulls out all the funding stops, to be even more accurate. The money trail is never wrong. You’ve got George Soros‘ Open Society Policy Center funding the likes of Sixteen Thirty Fund, and then this Sixteen Thirty Fund, as the Daily Caller initially reported, siphoning off money to a group called Demand Justice aimed at stopping Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. The ties are tough to discern — but they’re there. (Snip) Who funds it? Very good question. Key phrase: “dark money.”

Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.
