I Left My Shoes In San Francisco
Townhall, by Kurt Schlichter

Original Article

Tony Bennet’s famous song about those cable cars that climb half-way to the stars leaves out the fact that once you hop off one of those rickety tourist traps you have to tip-toe through a minefield of used soup kitchen free lunches laid down by the city’s army of ubiquitous vagrants. But maybe you’ll get lucky and step on a discarded needle instead of a former baloney sandwich. Enter the search term “San Francisco feces map” into Google and it comes back with 1,040,000 results. Yeah, it’s a thing.

When a derelict (or mentally ill drug addict, or whatever he is) drops trou in front of you, your spouse, and your children and delivers a steaming fresh dook, a modern art mud monkey on the sidewalk, would you regret ever having visited such a backward place? Wouldn´t you wish for law enforcement armed to cattle prods to deal with such human cattle? Institutionalization of the utterly non-functional is necessary to prevent public drug use, public micturition, and public defecation. These people don´t belong in society.

fta: "They want you playing hopscotch with human dung. They want you living in fear; you’re more pliable that way. All this shows you who’s boss. Them. This is about power, their power to make your life miserable and even dangerous. By forcing you – but again, not themselves – to endure this primitive misbehavior, by making you live in fear, they are figuratively crushing you underfoot and punishing you for the crime of being Normal."

And there we go. The Elites impose their lawless, greedy progressive agenda on the masses while they live and thrive in well guarded communities. You need not go so far as Venezuela to see the results (though that is the end result progressives desire), just go to any major city that has been run by Democrats and their minions for more than 3 decades. The lines will be very clear. Only the little, unimportant people suffer.

More than once they´ve had to call in a HazMat team because some bum decided an open manhole cover was a good place to take a squat. Seriously. At least he makes over $200K a year and has great benefits, but as soon as he hits retirement numbers he´s outta there.

Funny article to read. Too bad the subject is so very serious. The good people, being used like rented mules, bear up under the abuse, paying for all of this nonsense. Those who can carry on trying to elect a few (unfortunately very few) good congressmen and presidents while the liberals are rapidly tearing so much down. The liberals have won the schools and the universities, major cities and states, nearly half the voting population, and control of a significant level of national and world media. The liberals have achieved a split in society through ID politics.
How will we contend with this. There are those who cling to the guns and Bibles (and I say good for you) but you use your gun, even in clear self-defense and things have been turned so far upside down that it is you who will be the target of the police and prosecutor. Plus, the lawbreaker may bring a civil lawsuit. You´ll probably prevail but you will be bankrupt. Time to turnout out and vote.

Another terrific Kurt Schlichter piece.

What the liberal elite have in mind is no laughing matter. No one has to let people treat our sidewalks like a latrine. That’s a choice, a conscious decision made by the elite in the service of their irrational hatred of the Normal people who refuse to bow down. But we can choose to fight back. November’s coming. Vote Republican, and against people going on the sidewalk.

It is counterintuitive to believe that liberals actually want this kind of thing, but there really is no other explanation for allowing it. If Democrats get the levers of power in Congress, America will become their toilet and you will be powerless to stop it.

Labor unions were dealt another blow in Kentucky after the state supreme court upheld its right to work law. The state´s highest court upheld a lower court judge´s ruling dismissing the lawsuit filed by Teamsters Local 89. The 4-3 majority affirmed that the law, which prohibits mandatory union fees as a condition of employment, passed state constitutional muster and was appropriate under federal labor law. "We hold that the Unions´ constitutional challenges to the Act are without merit," the majority ruling in the 4-3 case says.

Extra, extra, read all about it: CNN’s Jim Acosta has his press pass back. Last week, the Trump administration yanked the White House reporter’s credential following a silly spat with an intern over a microphone. CNN sued, arguing Acosta’s due process rights had been violated, and on Friday morning, a judge granted them a temporary restraining order, compelling the White House to return his credential. “I want to thank all of my colleagues in the press who supported us this week,” proclaimed a jubilant Acosta in a statement. “Let’s go back to work!” And OK, look, this is good news.

Fake news is a serious problem in our political life. I’m not referring to a pathetically small number of Facebook ads bought by Russian provocateurs. I’m talking about the fake news that was paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee; fabricated by Democratic Party-allied consultants; propagated by the FBI and the CIA; promoted by the broadcast networks, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Associated Press; trumpeted by pretty much every senior elected Democrat; and kept alive by the appalling Robert Mueller.

After decades of butting heads, some environmentalists and logging supporters have largely come to agreement that forests need to be logged to be saved. The current fires are hitting populated areas along the edges of forests and brush lands, including the 142,000-acre Camp Fire in Northern California’s Butte County. That now ranks as the most deadly and destructive in state history, killing at least 63 people, leaving hundreds missing and destroying more than 9,800 homes.
