Media pounce on conservatives
and weaponize bias against Trump

Fox News, by Dan Gainor

Original Article

Anti-Trump news organizations continued to attack the president this past week on many fronts, including for what CNN Senior Political Analyst John Avlon called “a real culture of corruption.” In reality, Avlon should have been describing the state of journalism. CNN, that stalwart of James Earl Jones voiceovers, has no room to point fingers. It got caught believing another phony story about President Trump and is too stubborn and woke to admit it. (Sort of like when three CNN investigative journalists had to resign in 2017, except then the network admitted they were wrong.) Meanwhile, NBC is facing allegations

I heard none of the anti-Trump attacks. I did hear PDT´s speech at Evansville, Indiana, in which PDT gave a blistering attack on the media. I also heard Judge Jeanine give the most blistering attack on Jeff Sessions ever heard. That is what I listened to, and that is exactly what I believe and support.

Chuck Todd does not believe that media bias exists. Last week he said that it was created by the conservative echo chamber and has no basis in fact.

Go back to sleep Chuck.

Washington- Forty years ago this past Sunday more than 900 men, women, and children either killed themselves or were murdered in Jonestown, Guyana. Geography buffs will note that Jonestown is just east of Venezuela, where yet another crazed left-wing experiment is being played out today, though on a much larger scale and hence the prospect of death on an even grander scale is still possible in that once prosperous country. Yet forty years ago on November 18 the deaths were not over. In San Francisco, the hometown of Jonestown’s colony of death, there were still more deaths to be carried out.

Interpol presidency vote: Russia
in surprise loss to South Korea
BBC, by Staff    Original Article

Interpol has elected South Korean Kim Jong-yang as its president, rejecting the Russian frontrunner who had been accused of abusing the international police body´s arrest warrant system. Mr Kim was chosen by Interpol´s 194 member states at a meeting of its annual congress in Dubai. He beat Russia´s Alexander Prokopchuk, who had been widely tipped to win. But there was growing concern that Mr Prokopchuk would use the role to target critics of Russia´s President Putin. Moscow said Mr Prokopchuk would continue to serve as an Interpol vice-president and help strengthen the organisation´s "position in the international police community".

Actually, even California says
Trump is right about the wildfires

President Trump’s critics are belittling him for not buying the lefty narrative that global warming is to blame for the California wildfires. Instead, Trump points to decades of mistakes by government agencies that caused the woodlands to become overly dense and blanketed with highly flammable dead wood and underbrush. He’s exactly right. Just ask California officials. Two months ago, the state legislature enacted a measure that would expedite the removal of dead trees and use “prescribed burns” to thin forests. In other words: the very same reforms that Trump is now being mocked for proposing.

The two monstrous blazes, which both ignited earlier this month, have claimed a total of 84 lives while laying waste to a total area of nearly 400 square miles, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. Officials said that at least 64 of the remains have been positively identified so far. The vast majority of the deaths -- 81 total -- were due to the Camp Fire in Northern California´s Butte County, making it the deadliest and most destructive wildland fire in the state´s history.

Injured man to appeal jury´s $524G award

Fox News, by Dom Calicchio    Original Article

A California man who was injured outside a Las Vegas hotel in 2015 rolled the dice by rejecting the hotel’s $2.5 million settlement offer -- and going to trial instead, in hopes of getting more. That decision appears to have cost him about $2 million. The jury awarded only about $524,000 to plaintiff Glenn Richardson, of Carlsbad, Calif. Richardson claims he suffered head and body injuries when a temporary sign -- advertising an outdoor event -- collapsed and hit him near the pool area of the Mandalay Bay resort.

A nation riveted. Did Florida elect DeSantis their new Governor, or the anti-Semitic crook with the Hamilton tickets and the Tallahassee corruption scandal? Did Florida elect one of its finest-ever Governors, now term-limited, to the United States Senate, or did they go again for the mummy? And for those with Georgia on their minds, did Stacey Abrams finally figure out that 49 percent is less than 50 percent, or is she still working on the new math? Well, it seems for Republicans focused on those that all’s well that ends well. DeSantis is Florida Governor

The decision by U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Kelly in Cable News Network v. Donald J. Trump ordering the White House to restore the press pass of reporter Jim Acosta has been hailed as a victory not only for CNN but for the entire press and the cause of journalism. But the end result of Kelly´s ruling, and of the CNN lawsuit, might not be happy for reporters and the news organizations that employ them. The transcript of the Nov. 16 court session in which Kelly delivered his oral ruling was released in group of court papers on Monday.

Labor unions were dealt another blow in Kentucky after the state supreme court upheld its right to work law. The state´s highest court upheld a lower court judge´s ruling dismissing the lawsuit filed by Teamsters Local 89. The 4-3 majority affirmed that the law, which prohibits mandatory union fees as a condition of employment, passed state constitutional muster and was appropriate under federal labor law. "We hold that the Unions´ constitutional challenges to the Act are without merit," the majority ruling in the 4-3 case says.

Extra, extra, read all about it: CNN’s Jim Acosta has his press pass back. Last week, the Trump administration yanked the White House reporter’s credential following a silly spat with an intern over a microphone. CNN sued, arguing Acosta’s due process rights had been violated, and on Friday morning, a judge granted them a temporary restraining order, compelling the White House to return his credential. “I want to thank all of my colleagues in the press who supported us this week,” proclaimed a jubilant Acosta in a statement. “Let’s go back to work!” And OK, look, this is good news.

Democrat Stacey Abrams isn´t backing down from her fight against what she calls voter suppression tactics and election mismanagement after losing the Georgia governor´s race. In fact, Abrams said she experienced the problems in her state firsthand — after nearly being denied a ballot during early voting. In an interview with Morning Edition host Steve Inskeep, the Democratic gubernatorial nominee said that when she went to vote last month, a poll worker initially told her that she had requested an absentee ballot and couldn´t cast an in-person vote. Abrams replied that she never filed for an absentee ballot, and after

For someone who has thrust herself on the national stage, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez sure has thin skin. The proud democratic socialist and newly elected congresswoman from New York has a knack for making confusing statements, or “word slips,” as she calls them, and is real quick to play the victim if anyone calls attention to them. Her latest flub occurred on Saturday when Ocasio-Cortez called for taking back “all three chambers of Congress,” before quickly correcting herself to say “all three chambers of government,” naming the presidency along with the House and Senate. “If we work our butts off to make
