‘Outraged’ Americans Disgusted With
Hyper-Politicized McCain Funeral

Gateway Pundit, by Cristina Laila

Original Article

Posted By:Maryland_Patriot, 9/1/2018 8:15:48 PM

Americans were outraged Saturday after John McCain’s funeral turned into a Trump bashing session. Speaker after speaker, from Meghan McCain, to George W. Bush, to Barack Obama took turns to rip President Trump in words of anger. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were in attendance. They looked sad and embarrassed at the nonstop abuse. Meghan McCain took the occasion of her father’s death to slam President Trump numerous times Saturday in Washington DC. What a sad and petty woman.

The astounding thing to me was the political jibes throughout a (sort of) church service with at the same time an unending reference to honor, kindness, civility, etc. Do these people believe it was decent to hurt and insult Ivanka’s father and our President on LIVE TV for two hours?

Appears it will be turned into a new TV series. I feel sorry for Megan, her mom, and sisters. But he made it to 81 and lots of people I care about didn´t. When Strom Thurman, Ted Kennedy, etc. departed this planet we didn´t get this big a show. Expect T Shirts saying I was at President McCain´s Big Sendoff. I mean no disrespect to the dead. But enough is enough.

A point well taken is that a lot of $´s doesn´t buy class.
Just check out the list of people who were in attendance. The Clintons, the Obamas, the Bushes. I think I saw a picture of Al Gore
(the sex poodle) also there...all people with tons of mun, but very short on class.
It´s probably a good thing Sarah Palin was not in attendance. She is wayyyy too good to be in that mix. Isn´t it ironic?

Fake people, attending a contrived political event packaged as a funeral, reported on by the fake media masquerading as a "free press."
You would think that W would know and avoid the equivalent of the "Wellstone" experience that he endured, show some class and not be part of of a wellstone event for PDJT. Unless W thought it would even the score for runt bro Heb.

Outraged is far too strong a word, and it is overused. I´ve been annoyed at the "all McCain all the time" reporting and hope it ends soon.
As for the speakers, I feel nothing about them. They are phonies being phoney. Nothing more. We should save our outrage for something deserving of it and quit wasting it on dumb stuff.

If this was not the ruling class or the true swamp rubbing this in our faces, I don’t know what it could be. I agree that we are enraged and we will make our marks in the mud-terms. McCain was the epitome of deep state and the swamp. All those who called him racists in 2008 were there praising him this week, just to spite Trump.

Ordinarily, I would have watched since I love gothic Cathedrals and the beauty of such services. Knowing how classless and vindictive McLame was, I knew his service would be a political snide fest. I didn´t watch, but I´m glad this week-long clown and fool circus is drawing to a close and he will soon be planted and forgotten by all his liberal/elitist "friends" once he can no longer be used to score points against PDJT.

McCain “halted medical treatments” four days short of his next birthday and “succumbed” the following day. Hillary’s birthday is coming up soon (October 26). Imagine the “celebration of life” the leftist media could put together for her with two and a half months to prepare.

I think very few people really cared about McCain or watched this media created spectacle. Democrats don´t care about McCain, and anyway are too self-involved to give up their Saturday on a holiday weekend, and Republicans are mad at McCain for a number of very legitimate reasons. Probably the never-Trumpers watched, and the weak minded who still like Obama and still haven´t realized that Obama waxes eloquent without ever actually saying anything (you can never remember what he said even a day later).

#2- A valid observation—political jibes throughout a church service. It is beyond comprehension how anyone, at anytime, out of reverence for God, would think to use a sanctuary for a political platform. Beyond that, do people not know, or do they reject, what Scripture has to say about God selecting heads of nations?(Haggai2:20-23; 1 Chronicles14:2; Daniel2:21, 4:17; Romans13:1-2; Revelation1:4-5) Do these people not understand that their rage, against a man who has done nothing wrong, who fairly won the 2016 presidential election, rage against a man that God has put in place? Granted, there are times when God allows evil men come to power, and their actions make clear that they are evil as they violate God’s laws; however, President Trump is not an evil man; he is a successful business man who has provided lovingly and abundantly for his family, is a quiet philanthropist, and wears his patriotism on his sleeve. Do these people not care about President Trump’s family members? Do these people not fear “the day” when they will be held accountable for their deeds? “Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.” (1 John 2:9)

Over the top. We turned in the TV at 8 AM and there was the funeral. We tuned out. Near noon we wanted to watch the local news. The funeral was still in full swing - we listened to the choir a bit and then the camera panned to the former presidents. We turned it off.

This is the ruling elite spitting in our faces and in some ways it is a good thing. Just like the media has gone insane with TDS and we have learned that they have gone from silly to completely deranged, so this exposed the entrenched elite culture that feels entitled to rule the country. We can see their disdain and hatred. We can see that there is no difference or division between dem elite and Republican elite. They think America "has been" great even though many of its citizens have been ignored. That´s NOT so great and they just told us THEY don´t care. All they want is for us to bow to them.

It´s good to know WHO and WHAT they are. In their own words from their own mouths.

Ronald Reagan´s Eleventh Commandment was:
"Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican."

And John McVain always claimed to have started out in politics as a "foot soldier for Ronald Reagan," but in his political life he became an uncontrolled arrogant and evil monster within the GOP. He violated Reagan´s 11th commandment time and time again through word and deed, and is therefore anathema to Conservatives.

The world won´t miss you McVain.

These reprobates turned a scripted funeral in to a political bashing of our president. In November let´s turn the election into a political bloodbath for the Democrat party. We must assure that no Democrat or RINO get´s elected to any political office in this great country. McCain by his death may have united those that he despised most, conservatives and independent voters.

It is a shame and an eternally dreadful thing to die with so much hatred and unforgiveness in heart and mind.

Too bad he had so much debased company in his last days, who could not or did not counsel or did not want to counsel him out of his vengefulness.

He could have died a real giant of a man, rather than as a withered old bitter crank.

Can´t sleep so I´m watching it now. Can´t believe, 2i/2 hours in, and there has yet to be a scripture reading. They are not even following the order of the Episcopal prayer book. Megan was an embarrassment . Now the eldest daughter gives a brief scripture reading. and they will sing How Great Thou Art, which I guess at this point is a hymn to John McCain.

I was fully prepared to feel some sadness but what a phony show this has been.

Truly, I suspect that President Trump knows something about the late Senator that would be devastating to his already tarnished reputation if known. McCain got over losing to Bush and Obama, but he can´t get over Trump? What gives?

Shame, shame shame on all those egotistical swamp creatures who used the opportunity of this funeral to pump themselves up.

I was aware of what this funeral would be like because there were many articles describing who would be left out. I’d never heard of people being ‘invited’ to a funeral, but I was most taken aback when I saw that Sarah Palin, his running mate in 2008, was left off the list. That was not an oversight, but a deliberate act of meanness, and nastiness. Of course, by treating our president, a man off his own own political party, with open contempt, will automatically backfire! It’s as if he had called us Trump supporters “deplorables” again. We will not forget that vindictive, rancorous, and revengeful behavior, shown at a ‘funeral’ in the name of McCain, for ages to come. It only sealed what kind of man he was in real life.

Doctors have found there is no evidence between high levels of bad cholesterol and heart disease, a study says. And with this claim, a number of leading cardiologists say statins, designed to tackle cholesterol, don´t have any benefit. Their findings, published in the Expert Review of Clinical Pharmacology, suggest the drugs won´t treat heart disease, as they say high bad cholesterol levels don´t necessarily lead to heart disease. The 17 physicians from across the world appear to have dispelled the theory that there are links between having high LDL-C levels - known as bad cholesterol - and fatty deposits that clog arteries. President Donald Trump has moved to immediately release a tranche of former FBI Director James Comey´s text messages and declassify 20 pages of a surveillance application that targeted former campaign adviser Carter Page, his latest offensive against a Russia investigation that has ensnared associates and has consumed Trump´s attention for much of his presidency. The breadth of the order came as a surprise and landed amid a full-court White House effort to shore up the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, as he defends himself against a sexual assault allegation. Europe’ Warns German Politician

“Civil war is coming to Europe,” a German city politician told me this week. I shan’t mention his name – it was an off-the-record briefing and, anyway, in Germany there are penalties for this kind of frankness. But he was only repeating what plenty of other people say in private in Germany where I’ve spent the last couple of weeks, soaking up the atmosphere, people-watching, gauging the public mood in the wake of Angela Merkel’s open invitation to perhaps three million immigrants – most of them fighting-age males from Muslim countries. Three million is higher than the figure admitted by the German authorities,

He´s America´s most successful documentarian and one of the few on the left who predicted the 2016 election upset. Now, as Moore readies his anticipated polemic ´Fahrenheit 11/9´ for its Toronto film festival debut, he takes aim at Trump (and Nancy Pelosi … and Harvey Weinstein …) and those actually responsible for the president´s rapid rise to power (hint: Gwen Stefani). The first time Michael Moore encountered Donald Trump, the filmmaker uncharacteristically held his tongue. The two had been booked as guests in 1998 on Roseanne Barr´s afternoon talk show, The Roseanne Show, taping at New York´s Tavern on the Green.

Doug Ducey is expected to make the announcement at press conference this afternoon, AZCentral.com reported. Stockholm - The anti-immigration far-right is expected to soar in Sweden´s September 9 general election, capitalising on voter discontent as Swedes punish traditional parties over immigration, integration and health care. Prime Minister Stefan Lofven´s Social Democrats, who have dominated Swedish politics since the 1930s, will remain the biggest party in the country but likely with a record low score, polls suggest. The far-right Sweden Democrats (SD) are heading to make the most gains and come in a close second, followed by the conservative Moderates.

Any aspiring farmer would envy Nick Serfontein. The Bonsmara cattle he rears on 15,000 acres of pasture in the high plains of South Africa’s Free State province are fat and sleek, prize-winning specimens of arguably Africa’s finest beef-producing breed. With state-of-the-art feedlots, a modern abattoir and lucrative retail outlets, the Sernick Group he heads is one of Free State’s most successful agricultural ventures. But Mr Serfontein is also a member of South Africa’s privileged white minority, who could — if certain politicians get their way — lose everything he has built up for years and receive nothing in return.

Tallahassee, Fla. — Andrew Gillum, who engineered a surprising upset victory in Florida´s Democratic primary this week, is picking up endorsements, money and plenty of national attention in the aftermath of his win. But as the Tallahassee mayor mounts his bid to become Florida´s first black governor, he is already coming under swift attack from Republican opponents who are trying to use a slow-moving corruption investigation into Tallahassee city government to portray Gillum as untrustworthy.

Stone, in the special counsel’s crosshairs, said he counted 79 media inquiries peppering his cellphone all day in anticipation of an indictment that never materialized. “The only thing I’m guilty of is supporting Donald Trump for president and being effective against Hillary Clinton,” Stone told the Herald last night as he confirmed Robert Mueller didn’t come knocking. Stone said Mueller is being merciless in his dogged pursuit of a scalp for Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Obama-era DACA program

A federal judge ruled Friday that the DACA deportation amnesty was probably illegal when President Obama created it in 2012 — but he refused to halt the program altogether, leaving it to other courts to sort out a major legal mess. Judge Andrew S. Hanen’s ruling clashes with those of several other federal courts which said President Trump’s attempt last year to phase out the DACA program was also illegal. Taken on face, the rulings mean that the program is illegal — but so is the effort to erase it from the books.

Georgetown professor Michael Eric Dyson went on a rant against the president and even suggested that Hillary Clinton won the election during his eulogy at Aretha Franklin’s funeral on Friday. He began his speech saying listing people who were in attendance including, “President Clinton and her husband Bill.” “Then this orange apparition had the nerve to say she worked for him. You lugubrious leach, you dopey doppelgänger of deceit and deviance, you lethal liar, you dimwitted dictator, you foolish fascist,” Dyson continued. “She [didn’t] work for you, she worked above you. She worked beyond you.

Since high school keg parties at the elite prep schools attended by Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey are now a matter of consuming interest to the Democrat-media complex, it is perhaps telling that the high school yearbooks of Holton Arms, the school attended by Blasey, have been scrubbed from the web. The blog Cult of the First Amendment says: On Monday Sept. 17th, Christine Blasey Ford’s high school yearbooks suddenly disappeared from the web. I read them days before, knew they would be scrubbed, and saved them.

Watching the slow, public evisceration of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by Senate Democrats —on the strength of one unsubstantiated charge of alleged sexual aggression 36 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school — a question comes to mind: Have you no sense of decency, Sen. Feinstein? Decency was once an important feature of the Democratic Party’s story. Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.

Giving Christine Blasey Ford the opportunity to testify about her unsubstantiated accusations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is, somehow, silencing her, Sen. Kristen Gillibrand (R-NY) declared Wednesday night. Refusing to launch an FBI investigation into Ford’s claims is also “silencing her,” Sen. Gillibrand said in a tweet: “Denying Dr. Ford an FBI investigation is silencing her. Forcing her into a sham hearing is silencing her. And pushing through Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation is silencing her.” Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has offered Ford four options: A public hearing; A private hearing; A public staff interview;

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) says that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the professor who came forward with a sexual assault accusation against Brett Kavanaugh, should not be "bullied" into testifying Monday in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee without an FBI investigation being performed. "I don´t think she should be bullied into this scenario, where it´s a ´he-said, she-said´ when many of the committee members
