Aretha Franklin funeral bishop

DETROIT — The bishop who officiated Aretha Franklin’s funeral apologized Friday to Ariana Grande for how he touched her onstage and a joke he made about her name. Bishop Charles H. Ellis III led Franklin’s funeral and awkwardly greeted Grande on stage after she performed “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.” Images of the moment showed Ellis’ hand holding Grande well above her waist, with his fingers pressing against one side of her chest. The preacher apologized in an interview with The Associated Press at the cemetery where Franklin was interred late Friday. “It would never be my intention to touch any

First of all, she was dressed for entertainment and not a funeral. Second of all, the preacher is a leech. The both deserve each other (disgusting).

Thought the entire funeral was trashy. The gold coffin. Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson.. the reverence and his unacceptable behavior. The screaming that was called singing. Bill Clinton ogling. All these low lifes pushing and shoving to get in the front of the parade. Disappointing.

Last time I looked, the Funeral was at 6 1/2 hours. Not sure how long it actually was! WHO does that? Who would like to sit through that long of a funeral and why in the world did Franklin´s "people" think it was appropriate to do that? It was garish!

First, what Ariana did was wrong, at least at a funeral. The funeral was about Aretha Franklin, not selling your image or songs for money. It was also wrong for all those liberal anti American political hacks to use the death of a great singer, as a way to spew their hatred for our Constitution, personal freedom and anything sacred and moral. THEY HAD NO RIGHT to politicize Aretha Franklins funeral!!!
Second, Bill Clinton´s stares at Ariana, along with the other "guests", proves one thing... the utter stupidity and politicizing, done by the Gender Neutral crowd, who keep trying to convince us that there is no difference between men and women (done to justify perverted lifestyles). Sorry, but their is a difference... and thank GOD there is.
She was using her female sexuality to sell herself and her music and Bill was lusting after a cute, leg baring young woman. Both doing what is nature (but should be self controlled and curbed), in spite of the fact that both are Democrats and proponents of Gender Neutral ideology.

The really funny thing is that the pastor made a joke about her name sounding like an item on the Taco Bell menu, then apologized to the Hispanic community for the joke. In case anyone cares, Ariana Grande is 100% Italian! Her family is half from Abruzzo and half from Sicily, it´s all out there. She was raised in Florida and speaks (and sings) in Spanish at times, perpetuating the Hispanic myth. This makes the pastor many times more ignorant than he already is - making assumptions about race and ethnicity based on a name.

The Truth About Polygraph Tests

News organizations would render a valuable service if, whenever they report that someone has taken or proposes to take a polygraph, they reminded readers (or explained to them) that polygraphs are voodoo. Junk science. They are no more reliable than a pack of Tarot cards. Polygraph evidence is inadmissible in court. There is a good reason for that. To check Brett Kavanaugh’s qualifications for the Supreme Court, Congress would do well to ask him whether he believes Frye v. United States and United States v. Scheffer were correctly decided. This would be far more illuminating (and meaningful)

Watching the slow, public evisceration of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by Senate Democrats —on the strength of one unsubstantiated charge of alleged sexual aggression 36 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school — a question comes to mind: Have you no sense of decency, Sen. Feinstein? Decency was once an important feature of the Democratic Party’s story. Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.

A nation gawks as Washington sinks deeper into the muck, but put aside your disgust long enough to digest what we’re seeing. Three big things are on display. First, Democrats are proving again that their force multiplier is a win-or-die zealotry. They were on a mission to kill anybody President Trump chose to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and, within minutes of Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer announced he would fight Kavanaugh “with everything I have.” All 10 Dems on the Judiciary Committee pledged to vote no.

History does repeat itself. Back in 1991, a college professor named Anita Hill accused Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas of sexual misconduct that she claimed had occurred many years before. The accusation came at the last minute, after lengthy hearings that had shown Thomas in a highly positive light. Senators took the charges seriously, even though Thomas, who is black, said during his nationally televised confirmation hearing that the charges amounted to “a high tech lynching.” Now it’s happening again, with Professor Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation that Judge Brett Kavanaugh drunkenly tried to rape her when they were both teenagers
