New York Times: Do you have a favorite show at the moment?
-Interview in the NewYork Times Sunday Magazine
George Stephanopoulos: My wife has turned me on to ''Will & Grace.''

Go To Your Room: Al Gore, remember him? - thought he could stick his
head
out and tell his fans what he thinks W's doing wrong with the war. He got
the back of Secretary of State Colin Powell's mighty hand for his trouble.
Powell chose Fox News Sunday to straighten him out
and it was glorious to behold.
Mashing Martha: Facing a yawning summer news hole with no O. J. ,
Chandra,
Lizzie or the like, the media now finds Martha Stewart's haughty life style
and arrogant attitude ("I want to focus on my salad") an anecdote rich
environment. Here
Howie Kurtz reminds us
that it was the media (who else)
that built up rich CEO's like Stewart. The
NYDaily News has
a tale of her dogs munching a child,
and
the Washington Times finds
a hauntingly familiar ring in her protests
of
innocence. She really didn't say, "I didn't have sex with that salad," but
it sure sounded like it.
Balanced or Biased: The New York Times addresses
the sticky situation CNN finds itself in
for its
coverage of the Middle East
and cites one of the
better lines in this morning's news telling us that the Jerusalem Post
called correspondent Sheila MacVicar, "the woman who refilled the toilet
paper in the Goebbels' commode." Then again, Palestinians called CNN, ZNN -
Zionist News Service. It's all going to get a lot nastier before it gets
nice.
Come On-A God's House: The singers' singer, Rosemary Clooney, died
over the
weekend at 74. She had a marvelous talent, a great career, a sweet attitude
about herself and life and gave birth to five children in five years.
Now that's a life well lived.
