What does this man know and why is he smiling?

Nixing Blix: The Washington Post pulls no punches this morning in its editorial denunciation of Hans Blix's agenda-setting, foot-dragging, Iraq-mollifying and thoroughly infuriating behavior. This is a somewhat surprising position for them and definitely this morning's mental engine starter.

It's Starting, Already: Holy Joe Lieberman's candidacy is already giving his CO-religionists shpilkas - that's that vague rumbling in the stomach somewhere between queasy and "I'm-think-I'm-going-to-hurl." Greg Pierce in Inside Politics reports that one Rabbi William Handler of Jews for Morality is angry at Lieberman for his support of partial-birth abortion and gay rights while declaring himself an Orthodox Jew. "He's not an Orthodox Jew, he's an orthodox liberal," Handler fumes. Well said, Rabbi. We hope to be hearing a lot from you and your group.

How Unkind: The folks over at the beloved Page Six seem to have breakfasted on a big bowl of sour grapes as they take a swipe at Matt Drudge for reminding us of the fifth anniversary of his rock-the-world Monica Lewinsky scoop. This is unfortunate. The New York Post had the story at the same time and sat on it out of cold, white fear. It took The Mattster and the Little Website That Could to be brave enough to run with it. Scroll through the Hillary/Sharpton love affair item to find.

LDotter Note: We want to thank so many of you for your patience and fortitude during our little crash incident. There are a few glitches to work out and some of you still can't register but we are sorting it out as fast as we can. We are also grateful to most of you for helping to stem the tide of Email asking what the problem was. Two notices on the front page and a huge headline seemed to work pretty well but still we are getting mail. If you are reading this and are still Emailing us, you know who you are.
