Trump admin kicking unions out of free
govt. office spaces: Pay rent or get out.

While organized labor had a friend in former President Barack Obama, who stacked the National Labor Relations Board with career union labor lawyers, unions are now having a harder go at it under the Trump administration. In fact, unions accustomed to be provided free government office space to conduct their business are finding themselves with an option of either paying rent or being kicked to the curb. At least two government agencies have begun efforts to implement President Trump’s recent workforce executive orders governing union use of agency property, according to officials with the National Treasury Employees Union. Wow, they had free rent?

Heck, the gov´t never gets free rent, and likely pays top dollar in most cases, so unions shouldn´t be given any extra benefits like free rent.

In fact, they should be forced to provide time cards showing when they are working and when they aren´t, especially during the last couple months of an election season, or special election.

Any other person would have to use time off to do the same.

Well ,lets see how this works, union in free office space paid by us (AND YOU CAN BET ON THAT) goes to the bargaining table with management who have no skin in the game. Who gets the shaft? Joe Sixpack (WHO NEVER SAT AT THE TABLE). No unions in federal jobs nor state nor city. What in hell is the Civil Service if not a union?

At least in Illinois, union reps are considered to be on the government clock while doing union business and are paid with taxpayer dollars. I can only assume that it is the same for the feds.

I have to admit that I have been pretty lukewarm on DJT, but he is impressing me with countless examples of standing up for the taxpayers, who have been getting the shaft from all angles for decades.

More winning! MAGA!

They pay their way or they have nothing left to say, same as all the rest of us. Also remember that the collective bargaining agreements in force now were agreed to by Democrats who were getting kick back campaign contributions all the while. They´ve had it their way for a long time, and they shouldn´t have. Graft. It ends now.

I hate unions! I sacked groceries for 89 cents/hour in high school and got to work 16 hours per week. I had to belong to the union and pay dues. They never did bat guano for me. Dad had to belong to the UAW and go on strike when they said. There were many weeks when we had little to eat when there was no paycheck because the plant was on strike. When there was finally a settlement, we never got caught up even after the new pay scale. I’ve been non-Union for the rest of my life and done very well.

This is fantastic and about time. Now the next step should be to kick the WH press corps out of the WH to an annex and charge them rent. Also, to charge them for rides on AF1 -- or better yet, give them PUTUS´s schedule and tell them if they want to cover whatever event it is, find a way there.

Unions and democRATs are two peas in a pod.
They both set up walls in order to divide two entities against each other that neither the company or the country benefit from!

#14, I believe the reporters who fly on Air Force One pay for the ride.
That was part of the white house travel office debacle, where Dollar Bill Clinton and Lady Lucifer fired the travel office staff, replacing them with a Clinton cousin, claiming they were pocketing the money paid by reporters.
The head of the travel office was prosecuted
and acquitted.
(operating from memory here, always risky, but I believe I am correct.)

Next up for swamp draining is supporting immigrants, legal and illegal.

Goobermint union reps not only get free rent, they get free supplies and get paid by the goobermint no matter how much they make. PT should go another step and make the unions pay the goobermint employee wages instead of out of the taxpayer´s pocket.

Back in the early 90’s Post Cereal workers went out on strike fir several weeks and many of them ended up financially destroyed. Local news caught the union management on camera literally driving by the picketers in a limo and waving. That is when I lost all respect for unions.

Why should labor get a free ride? They´re just blood-suckers for Democrat vampires.

This is why socialism works. The American worker is paying their rent, and their salaries for working on union business, not ours. American workers are paying for the defense of the EU through NATO, and the defense of the EU´s southern borders with $9 Trillion spent so far in the Middle East, and nothing from the EU. American workers are educating, housing, feeding all those brought to destitution on our southern border through socialist governments. All major American cities are socialist, also subsidized by the American worker. Yes, socialism works.

Unions are parasites. It´s what they do. There is a good reason why the worst worker in any plant or school becomes the union steward.

What PDJT needs to do is to rescind EO 10988

(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_10988)in full.

Even union man FDR recognized that public sector unions were bad.

Poster #27 is right. In January 17, 1962, JFK signed the EO 10988 that gave the federal workers the right to become a union and collective bargaining. There were never protected by the 1935 Wagner Act. In 1969, Nixon replaced it with EO 11491. So the only thing President Trump needs to is to rescind either or both.

Prince Charles and Prince William reportedly ‘snubbed’ the US President during his visit to Britain - leaving the Queen to meet Donald Trump alone at Windsor Castle. The royal father and son apparently shared their desire to not take part in the arrangements during informal discussions regarding the president’s four-day tour. Trump’s trip was not a state visit and so only the Queen greeted the president and his wife Melania. However even on working trips dignitaries expect to see more members of the royal family than only the Queen.
